Milano cafe is owned by Sammy. The food is delicious. I am 100 percent Italian and I had the eggplant it was perfectly cooked. My daughter had the pizza ! I highly recommend this place to eat. It has a lovely menu and it is beautiful inside !!!

Second time enjoying the food here. The owners are the sweetest and very accommodating. After dinner we have enjoyed dessert and coffee. Its so relaxing here, that both times we have stayed past closing! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. It is my go to for a quite italian dinner wether alone or with good company.

I had a good meal, but my colleagues meals were only ok. For basic dishes, like bruschetta or eggplant parmesan, you should be nailing it if your more elevated plates like the tortellini piemontosa are absolutely exquisite. I never expected to enjoy berries in a pasta dish, but they gave wonderful contrast. My partner enjoyed the drunken linguini, but the bruschetta appetizer was way too salty (I think it was the cheese, but still too salty for mozzarella). The garlic bread was ok, but it looked like something that could easily be made at home - just toasted parmigiano on bread, not really garlicky at all. Partner sampled some of the eggplant parmigiana and the chicken piccata, and was not impressed. Not horrible, but expectations were higher given the quality of mine and his dish. The interior was nice though. The seats were very cushiony and our server was very polite. Just a bit of a bummer on the food.

There is a decent amount of seating indoors but they also have a lovely patio with shaded spots. The baristas are friendly and kind. My go to is a vanilla latte but my husband really liked the banana bread latte they had, but usually ops for the flat white. The syrups are house made! They also have a good tea selection and brew it properly--love the Rooibos iced. I haven't come for wine or evening bites, but the breakfast burrito is insanely good. They have gluten and dairy free options too. It is quite pricey but worth the splurge when the craving hits. My son also loves their croissants and scrambled eggs. I appreciate the quality ingredients and milks they use as well. It's a great spot to work or catch up with a friend--or for a coffee date with your LO (: I imagine it is also lovely in the evening for a wine date.

Luckily this place was dog friendly inside and out. I walked in to discover a cool bar slash coffee shop. They had many beers on tap and a wide range of seating with a bohemian style. My baby had a great time looking for crumbs but the place is kept very clean. The bartender was super nice and friendly. Not sure if they have wifi but a few were glued to their laptops. The beer I selected was very good. No food is served for reason two food trucks outside. Outside there were seating areas by an outdoor pit and under giant oak trees. I see this a great place to hang out when the temps drop cuddling next to a fire sipping on something warm or cold.

Their burger is easily one of the best I've had in Austin, especially paired with their thin, crispy fries. It's my go-to order almost every time. One thing I love is that they switch up the steak portion of the menu a few times a year, and it never disappoints. Right now they have the steak au poivre, which is incredible, although I'm still craving their steak frites and hoping it makes a comeback. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, which keeps us coming back. I definitely recommend making a reservation since it tends to get pretty busy, especially during peak hours.

Service on one side is slower and shady, but AUTUMN and TYLER are bringing brunch with pastries and good cheer (+INTELLIGENTSIA Coffee, CHAI Latte & favorite JUICES) on another. My CHALUPA was tasty but I know where to find better... This is still my favorite haunt for one of the best BURGERS in town, TARTARE (both with FRENCH FRIES), checking it twice for rare finds from lady winemakers including ANTICA TERRA & SUSANA BALBO.
