You get to know the servers, meet some talented musicians, dance the night away, drink tasty beer, eat delicious pizza, and pet the cutest ABGB ambassador, Mago. Kim, the brewer is all around a wonderful person who makes the best beer around. If you're in for just one night, try the superliner and the beegining. The Superliner is a zangy IPA, and the Beegining won the 2026 World Beer Cup Gold. Go straight for the waygu and order some pints, you cannot go wrong. I recently moved back to Austin, and this was one of my first stops.

Recently they've added a bit of a convenience store inside which is great for variety and to pick up things you need but the working space is a little more difficult to work with. As for the menu, they have a lot happening with mission burger making top tier vegetarian food! I love their coffee the honey latte is delicious and service is fast and friendly. For my beer I ordered the Grand Cru St Feuillin which is a Belgian pale strong ale and was excellent! If you are ever in the downtown area I highly recommend stopping here for a beer.

I believe you can get food from a food truck , possibly things like sausages which I'm sure are good but we brought in some food from a grocery store as we wanted something lighter and more vegetable forward. Their beer selection here is quite large and choices are pretty numerous. I decided to go with an Amber Ale it was very good! The name of it was called Cold Comfort. Flavor features to enjoy with this particular beer are malty, sweet, caramel and breadiness. The beer had a nice carbonation level too! All the flavors blended and melded together quite nicely which was nice. They certainly do know how to make beer and it was nice to get a beer type that I don't get as often. The sourdough pizza was really good--almost like a focaccia/Detroit-style hybrid, but with the sauce layered on the bottom. Super flavorful, crispy edges, soft inside... honestly just hit. Also--my husband was way too excited (in the best way) to see boiled peanuts on the menu, so of course we had to start there. Great call. We'll definitely be back.

The building is quite large and inside is cool as the seating is quite spacious and a large number of people can enjoy food and drink at once. Definitely not a tiny, small placed brewery...but it's true... everything is bigger in Texas! When we were at Pinthouse I spotted a Mexican Lager which is a type of lager I love and especially in warm weather... a perfect summer beer for me! The name of the beer was Burro's Breakfast. In the flavor profile of this beer you will find a naturally sweet corn flavor, some maltiness along with a tart and dry finish. The beer is light bodied like most lagers of this type and smooth in body. In addition to having a beer we also decided to get some lunch. So we got a chicken sandwich a piece along with coleslaw and had a very nice lunch. Coming to Pinthouse Brewing proved to be a good stop as we made a pretty extensive tour of the breweries in Austin.
