Ok, I'm back down to 3 stars. I don't truly love anything on the menu, despite the Chiles rellenos being pretty good. Service has gotten pretty slow, and often forgets to come by to refill drinks. Really I think 3/5 is fair for a place that succeeds at a few things, fails at others, but isn't really 'my thing.' read more

We love the nachos here! We come here for the flavorful fresh ingredients. The waiters are always pleasant to talk to, there is a good feeling and ambiance here. We like how they have always had a sink to wash hands at right when you walk in the door, nice before covid but super desirable now! My son announced during dinner, "I think this is our family's new favorite restaurant!" My daughter said, "well I don't think so but it is pretty good!" Great ambiance. The food is excellent, however if you come in close to closing time don't expect to feel welcome. We came in at 8:27 and were told by two different people that "they close at 9" and my boyfriend felt rushed and couldn't enjoy his food. This seems rude and you should let us enjoy our dinner without worrying about when you close. If you want to leave work at 9 then maybe close at 8:15? Being from CA, I'm pretty particular about my Mexican food. Milagros is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Utah, it's honestly the only one I really love and enjoy eating at. The salsas are to die for, the starters hit the spot, and the entrees are the best! My favorite entrees are the baby back enchiladas and my newest favorite is the Mata Hambre, it's so much food and the 3 meats are seasoned uniquely and just delicious! I can always tell the difference between food that is just thrown together in large batches and quality food that was carefully crafted. You can just taste the difference. Came in with my kids at a slow time and waited at least ten minutes to be seated even though no one else was waiting. When another couple walked in they were seated and got their drinks before us. The atmosphere was nice. The service was disappointing. The food sucked. They had sweet rice or spicy rice. I couldn't get spicy rice for the kids so I got sweet rice for them which is gross honestly. I ordered three different kids meals (quesadillas, taquitos, and nachos). They were not good, kids didn't eat them. I got a cheese enchilada and a pork enchilada with green sauce. The sauce was strange and the cheese was just shredded cheddar that didn't go with it. This is very good food. My favorite is the Barry's fundido and sweet rice. Always great service and yummy!

I like the atmosphere and really like the food at Milagros. The chips and salsa rock and the chili rellenos are to die for. I've eaten here many times over the last couple of years, even during the pandemic, and service is, unfortunately inattentive, dispassionate, and generally uninformed. Very bland and dry! Looks like a super cute place. We came about 45 minutes before closing. Our hostess and waitress seemed super rushed to the point that our waitress was talking so fast I couldn't understand her. We ordered the combo plate with enchiladas. So I've been to this place several times over the years. I've found that their standard burritos tacos etc. aren't all that impressive though it is a good portion size but where they shine is their specials. Barry's polo fundido is a crazy mix of flavor with a cheese that makes it incredible and a top 3 Mexican style food for me. Their baby back enchiladas are incredible and have me savoring every bite with the honey barbecue sauce. I would definitely recommend going because the staff has always been great every time. Another thing I've been impressed with is the consistency. Frequently quality will go down as time goes by and they get reviews. Not this place it's every bit as good as when I first came in 2013. ThIs place was a fun little Mexican place. The atmosphere was authentic and fun. We didn't have to wait long at all. And our server was nice enough to explain the menu to us since we were first timers. What I remember most was my onion! Yup! My baked onion. Yellow onions when they are cooked are actually sweet and so so yummy with butter. It was good to add a bite with my other food choices as well. I loved that they had that option as a side. Milagros is good Mexican Food! I went for my first time and I wasn't disappointed! The mango and pineapple salsa is delicious! I had the Baby Back Ribs burrito is amazing! It's a great portion and the refried beans an rice is quite good! Overall, Milagros is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants along with Mi Ranchitos, Los Hermanos, and El Torrito which unfortunately is not in Utah but in California! We live nearby and are so glad we do, because we LOVE Milagros. Never had anything that wasn't superb. The Baby Back Rib Enchiladas and the Queso Fundido are sooo good! The Sauteed Chile Corn and Sweet Green Chile Rice are our go to sides. Truly one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever experienced. They seem to be short on help right now (isn't everybody?), so we make allowances on service and we try to go early so they're not so rushed. We'll be back again and again and again! read more

It's funny I've had this place a few times but I've never ate inside until today. Each time I've had some it was left overs from my wife who's gone here. Finally got a chance to eat here and I'm happy to say it was a super tasty and quick meal. The place was busy and we still were able to sit fast. Our meal came out fast as well and our waiter was great. We both got the chicken chimichanga with sweet rice. The rice was very tasty. A little sweet but don't let that scare you away from trying it. It blended well with the chimi. The guacamole I was hesitant because most restaurant have gross guacamole and it's never fresh. I loved the entire meal and I would rate it 5/5. My main dish was the shrimp salad with in house ranch and it was really good. I just expected the place to be better because the interior is fancy. All the other food we had was not very good. My friend got a burrito that she said was equivalent to like Betos. There signature item is like this whole onion with this glaze. I love onions so I was excited to try it but honestly was awful I only took two bites. We also got fried ice cream that was like breaded in corn flakes but the ice cream was rock hard and was more work to try to eat then it was worth.
