Loved this place. Impeccable service and prices can't be beat. There's something amazing about Orem Utah hospitality and this place exemplifies the best of them. Delicious food that tastes fresh and has nice twists on flavours I'm not accustomed to. Love the spacious seating and ambiance. There's ample parking around the building and it's really hard to miss as it's a very rustic design. Would love to come back if I'm ever in town again.

Vibe was great. Lots of decorations. We went at night so the lights were dim and it was a fun atmosphere. The service was wonderful, our waiters name was Crash, and he was very friendly and checked on us a good amount of times. Their food is where they lost a star. Free chips and salsa were very yummy. Their salsa was okay and their green salsa was pretty sweet - I didn't care for it but my BIL loved it. I got the ribs with "spicy" sauce and it was absolutely delicious. Wonderfully cooked and flavor was incredible. Was not spicy at all. I also got spicy rice which was still very sweet. Flavor was fine. Refried beans were basic refried beans. What was very strange was they served me a full boiled onion, which was cold and had no seasoning at all. It was strange considering it was cold and had no flavor, and we didn't even have any knives to cut it. And no I wasn't interested in picking up a wet cold onion to eat like an apple. My kids got the charred onion side which was charred and flavored which they enjoyed - but mine seemed to be boiled and out of place. The taquitos that my children got were not good, VERY VERY dry. Overall the saving grace was the wonderful ribs.

Tonight, my food was delicious! I love the complimentary chips and salsa. The tortilla chips are served warm! The red and green salsas are equally delicious. I tried the salmon enchiladas with the spicy avocado sauce and - wow! I could drink that sauce. Absolutely amazing! The salmon chunks were big and their homemade flour tortillas are incredible! The sweet chile rice is super tasty too. It was a great experience and I look forward to my next visit!

We were here for a short trip & after a long day traveling we asked the hotel front desk where we could get some quick tacos but not fast food (if that makes sense) she recommended this restaurant & we were blown away. Such unique items, the super unique sweet green chile salsa- wow I've never had a salsa like that before. We tried all different tacos- the shrimp, sweet & spicy pork, there was another pork I can't remember what it was called, & the green chili chicken. All were incredible but the sweet and spicy was my favorite. We also tried the strawberry horchata! Another unique feature. Very delicious! I only wish we had more time in Orem to go back and try more. Our waitress was also incredible, sweet , kind & explained the menu throughly. She really felt like a friend. It's been a long two days so I can't recall her name.. but she was GREAT!!

We were greeted at the door and quickly escorted to a table. The waitress took our drink order and was back to get our food order. The atmosphere was festive, and seating was well organized. Our food came quickly. Our teenage grandson inhaled his chimichanga, but made no comments on taste. The horchata and raspberry lemonades were spot on! We were not used to a crunchy outside on the rellenos without either a red or green sauce on top. The crunchy outside didn't add anything to the flavor, in fact my wife was not impressed with the flavor nor the texture of her rellenos! Her refried beans were very dry and flavorless. Her onion ball also lacked flavor. My taco had two crispy corn tortillas and was served in a holder to keep it crunchy. The filling was too dry and also lacked flavor. The borracho beans were dry and bland. I thought the onion was the best part of the meal. My wife loves cooked onions but not this one. The chips were fresh, thin and crispy, however the salsa looked and tasted like someone had peeled a tomato then mashed it but forgot to add onions, cilantro or lime juice. My wife doesn't like hot spicy food, but she does expect flavor. We ate here about ten years ago but weren't impressed. We decided to give them another try and hoped they had improved. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again. We won't be back.

I love Milagros! The atmosphere and ambiance is fun. It's authentic and delicious. Like every Mexican restaurant, you get complimentary chips and salsa, they bring you a red salsa and also a green salsa. I love having two options. I recommend getting their horchata! It's delicious here and they bring it in a unique glass bottle and then you pour it into your own glass.

Driven by this place can't tell you how many times. Always wanted to try it. Came here Monday with a friend before a concert and it was quite good. Surprised to see a drive-through window so I was a little concerned at first. Once inside, I found a little gem in Orem. Had the salmon enchiladas and they were delicious. Big chunks of salmon that were very flavorful. We also had chips and salsa as well as some of the queso. The queso was delicious. I would for sure come back.

Ok, I'm back down to 3 stars. I don't truly love anything on the menu, despite the Chiles rellenos being pretty good. Service has gotten pretty slow, and often forgets to come by to refill drinks. Really I think 3/5 is fair for a place that succeeds at a few things, fails at others, but isn't really 'my thing.' read more

The food is excellent, however if you come in close to closing time don't expect to feel welcome. We came in at 8:27 and were told by two different people that "they close at 9" and my boyfriend felt rushed and couldn't enjoy his food. This seems rude and you should let us enjoy our dinner without worrying about when you close. If you want to leave work at 9 then maybe close at 8:15? You shouldn't be telling customers when you close! read more

We love the nachos here! We come here for the flavorful fresh ingredients. The waiters are always pleasant to talk to, there is a good feeling and ambiance here. We like how they have always had a sink to wash hands at right when you walk in the door, nice before covid but super desirable now! My son announced during dinner, "I think this is our family's new favorite restaurant!" My daughter said, "well I don't think so but it is pretty good!" Great ambiance. Came in with my kids at a slow time and waited at least ten minutes to be seated even though no one else was waiting. When another couple walked in they were seated and got their drinks before us. The atmosphere was nice. The service was disappointing. The food sucked. They had sweet rice or spicy rice. I couldn't get spicy rice for the kids so I got sweet rice for them which is gross honestly. I ordered three different kids meals (quesadillas, taquitos, and nachos). They were not good, kids didn't eat them. I got a cheese enchilada and a pork enchilada with green sauce. The sauce was strange and the cheese was just shredded cheddar that didn't go with it. Being from CA, I'm pretty particular about my Mexican food. Milagros is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Utah, it's honestly the only one I really love and enjoy eating at. The salsas are to die for, the starters hit the spot, and the entrees are the best! My favorite entrees are the baby back enchiladas and my newest favorite is the Mata Hambre, it's so much food and the 3 meats are seasoned uniquely and just delicious! I can always tell the difference between food that is just thrown together in large batches and quality food that was carefully crafted. You can just taste the difference. I like the atmosphere and really like the food at Milagros. The chips and salsa rock and the chili rellenos are to die for. I've eaten here many times over the last couple of years, even during the pandemic, and service is, unfortunately inattentive, dispassionate, and generally uninformed. If they'd get some decent servers it'd be 5-star for sure. read more

Very bland and dry! Looks like a super cute place. We came about 45 minutes before closing. Our hostess and waitress seemed super rushed to the point that our waitress was talking so fast I couldn't understand her. We ordered the combo plate with enchiladas. Everything was so bland and the chicken was so dry it was just unenjoyable. I'm only giving them 2 stars because the chips and salsa were amazing, but other than that I would not recommend this place. read more

So I've been to this place several times over the years. I've found that their standard burritos tacos etc. aren't all that impressive though it is a good portion size but where they shine is their specials. Barry's polo fundido is a crazy mix of flavor with a cheese that makes it incredible and a top 3 Mexican style food for me. Their baby back enchiladas are incredible and have me savoring every bite with the honey barbecue sauce. I would definitely recommend going because the staff has always been great every time. Another thing I've been impressed with is the consistency. Frequently quality will go down as time goes by and they get reviews. Not this place it's every bit as good as when I first came in 2013. Go out on a limb and try their unique specials and you won't be disappointed. read more

Milagros is good Mexican Food! I went for my first time and I wasn't disappointed! The mango and pineapple salsa is delicious! I had the Baby Back Ribs burrito is amazing! It's a great portion and the refried beans an rice is quite good! Overall, Milagros is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants along with Mi Ranchitos, Los Hermanos, and El Torrito which unfortunately is not in Utah but in California! At least Utah has some nice Mexican Restaurants! Viva Utah! read more

ThIs place was a fun little Mexican place. The atmosphere was authentic and fun. We didn't have to wait long at all. And our server was nice enough to explain the menu to us since we were first timers. What I remember most was my onion! Yup! My baked onion. Yellow onions when they are cooked are actually sweet and so so yummy with butter. It was good to add a bite with my other food choices as well. I loved that they had that option as a side. My main dish was the shrimp salad with in house ranch and it was really good. I just expected the place to be better because the interior is fancy. All the other food we had was not very good. My friend got a burrito that she said was equivalent to like Betos. There signature item is like this whole onion with this glaze. I love onions so I was excited to try it but honestly was awful I only took two bites. We also got fried ice cream that was like breaded in corn flakes but the ice cream was rock hard and was more work to try to eat then it was worth. Needless to say we didn't ask for to go boxes and I don't think I would go back. read more

Milagros is fresh and delicious! Their chips and salsa are great! My favorite meal is the Chicken Mango Salad and I also like the Chicken Sweet Green Chili Stuffed Quesadilla. I've never heard to wait more than 20 minutes to get seated. Bathrooms are clean, staff is efficient. I eat here at least twice a month! read more

Our experience at Milagros was the worst dining experience we've ever had. We were there to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We arrived at 11:35 am and were seated. We ordered and enjoyed chatting and catching up after not seeing her for a while. After our meal and dessert we paid $80. We had been there a total of 1 hour and 5 minutes. We were then asked to leave or transfer to a table in their kitchen. I've never had any restaurant ask us to leave after paying and tipping well. We paid to enjoy a meal and time with our daughter. You've completely lost a customer here! Whatever happened to good customer service and care? Clearly not alive and well at Milagros. Spend your money and time to go somewhere where they appreciate your business. read more

We live nearby and are so glad we do, because we LOVE Milagros. Never had anything that wasn't superb. The Baby Back Rib Enchiladas and the Queso Fundido are sooo good! The Sauteed Chile Corn and Sweet Green Chile Rice are our go to sides. Truly one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever experienced. They seem to be short on help right now (isn't everybody?), so we make allowances on service and we try to go early so they're not so rushed. We'll be back again and again and again! read more

It's funny I've had this place a few times but I've never ate inside until today. Each time I've had some it was left overs from my wife who's gone here. Finally got a chance to eat here and I'm happy to say it was a super tasty and quick meal. The place was busy and we still were able to sit fast. Our meal came out fast as well and our waiter was great. We both got the chicken chimichanga with sweet rice. The rice was very tasty. A little sweet but don't let that scare you away from trying it. It blended well with the chimi. The guacamole I was hesitant because most restaurant have gross guacamole and it's never fresh. I loved the entire meal and I would rate it 5/5. Can't wait to eat again. read more

It's not Mexican food, it's very Americanized. Enchilada sauce tasted canned, they made everything sweet (onions with honey, sweet sauces, and sweet chicken) sometimes, Americanized Mexican food can be delicious, it's definitely not the case with this restaurant. The queso fundido here is just a starchy cheese sauce. The food is just overall bad, but the service was great :) read more

Moving my family to Mexico for 3 years, we moved around looking for unique, lighter, healthier Mexican Food. The agriculture areas of Michocan was our favorite. They use fruit juices to marinade the meats, flavorful sauces and great textures.I then had $200,000.00 of culinary training in Arizona.

Established in 2010.

Milagros means "Miracles" which is what friends and family predicted. We started construction in the worst part of the "Great Recession" when gasoline was $5.00 a gallon and 100 year old institutions were closing their doors

The pork taco had a flavor. Good combination of ingredients that made it interesting The beef taco was gamey and tough. We kept chewing the beef, but the toughness won and we gave up. Pretty disappointed in the meal especially in relation to the price point of the meal.

I tried to like this place. I really did. The decor was amazing and the service was great, but unfortunately, the restaurant struck out big time on the most important thing, food. The chips were fine but both types of salsa were bland like plain tomatoes, and the queso tasted like melted Kraft singles. I got the "Mata Hambre" plate, which literally had a pinch of shredded cheese, and the meats on it were dry and bland. The worst part was unfortunately the X factor of Mexican food, the tortillas, which were not just mediocre, but straight up unappetizing. I usually take a takeout box home when I don't finish food, but I had no desire to take any of that home with me. Oh, and on top of everything else, the horchata was grainy. A real shame. I would have liked to go back just for the atmosphere, but man is the food poor quality, especially for the price I paid. read more

My grandmother is Mexican. I remember as a child smelling the hand-rolled tortillas as we woke up in the mornings and how delicious, and comforting the beans and rice were that she would make for us. Along with being original and new, Milagros had that familiar taste i would enjoy at grandmother's house. The hand-rolled corn tortillas and the delicious smoky beans. I'm so glad there is a place like this in Utah that cares about authenticity and great mexican food, not just a trough line for slopping toppings onto a tortilla. The service was great, and the restaurant clean. Each server seemed to really know there stuff, when it came to the menu (which actually had very reasonable prices). All I can say is that I can't wait to bring my abuelita here to enjoy REAL mexican food. read more

Horrible Food. I'm not a foodie or a mexican food snob, and I'm not leaving this review for people to think I have some wonder pallet and should be the deciding factor on what is and isn't good. When I say the food is horrible I'm not even comparing it to "good" mexican food. Its just bad food in general. The salsa is super sweet, as in straight sugar sweet the meals were nothing memorable. (Seriously the salsa was bad). To give the restaurant a fair shot I tried it twice, both times I was very disappointed. Don't waste your money. I loved it! I know dave had a rough start. Who wouldn't after having the Nuskin boys tear you apart. everytime I eat there- the food is better and the service is smoother. The best Mexican in town? It is sure getting there. i like the lunch specials, especially Mondays Chimichanga filled full of tender meat (not rice and beans) With all the "Food Critic TV shows" everyone thinks they are an expert on anything they put in their mouth. If you were disappointed in Milagros, I would give it another go. You can see in the kitchen while the cooks press the masa for your tortillas- come on! read more

I have eaten at many of the Mexican restaurants in Utah Valley. Milagros is simply the best! I go to Milagros often. Everything about the place is fantastic. The servers are great, and the place looks cool. The food is the best there is, and I've had almost everything on the menu. Last night I had the green chili chimichanga, and it was fantastic. They changed their red salsa a couple of months ago, and it is amazing. They have ribs and baby-back enchiladas. Those don't sound very Mexican to me, but they're fantastic. I recommend Milagros to everyone. read more

Zero stars if I could. Food is bland and poorly made. It's very expensive for what it is. I'm pretty sure they are serving Taco Bell quality for a premium price. The salsas are watery and flavorless. The staff is less helpful and I wasn't pleased with any aspect of my meal. The restaurant is fairly clean but other then that I don't have a lot of good things to say. If you want cheap Mexican food go to mama chus if you want amazing Mexican food go to oteo. If you want poor Mexican food for a ripoff price come to Milagros read more

If you haven't visited Milagros, you are missing out. My wife and I eat here twice a month and it never disappoints. We have literally ordered everything on the menu and it is hands down the best Mexican food in the valley. We have tried the others (poor imitations) but Milagros is the freshest, most savory and authentic Mexican food around. Their staff is super friendly (we always seem to get Javier as our waiter) and I would highly recommend it. Don't pay attention to the haters, see for yourself! read more

I loved this place. It's a really refreshing addition to the Utah Mexican Food market. Its very fresh, the sauce was great, and we loved the Salsa. My wife had the mango chicken salad, which she really enjoyed. I thought my Taco and Enchilada was fantastic, with a great flavor to the beef. In addition, the service was excellent. Our waiter was on the ball, kept our drinks filled, and we received our meal quickly. I would say that it is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. We will definitely be back. read more

I love this place! everything I've ordered tastes amazing, and I like how you get to pick your own sides like corn or sweet rice or 3different kinds of beans or a sweet onion, instead of typical Mexican food restaurants that give you old beans and rice with everything you order. I worked here as a server for years when I was younger and I still stop by from time to time for lunch. I'm grateful to Sarah & Dave for everything and I'm glad they're still in business! I'll forever swear by the Ensalada Grande from their menu, it's still a favorite of mine after all these years. Great Salsa, the servers were nice,needed to know menu better. The quesadilla with sourcream was really good. The lights are these giant handblown glass shades, they were beautiful (kept my baby happy for the whole dinner) No dessert, but I didn't have room for dessert. Great Place, You can tell the owners and employees are busting their butt. Not traditional Mexican, has a sweet healthier twist. My wife loved the Chicken Mango Salad, the chicken was great. I loved my Ribs (Hermasillo Style). I can't believe other "critics" can compare Milagros with any other Mexican joint in town.
