Ordered through PostMates earlier today and we can start off by saying we were satisfied with the amount of food as it was enough to feed the family! The tofu teriyaki was hands down the favorite! So yummy and fried to deliciousness. The General Tsao's was pretty up there too with the crispness of the meat and the flavor, however we were a little disappointed it didn't come with peppers but that wasn't a deal breaker! The teriyaki beef was melt in your mouth soft, and the katsu was okay. Being completely honest, it was nothing impressive. Their salad dressing is the bomb though! With the speediness of how everything got done and how fresh and hot everything was when delivered, there's really no big complaints! The pricing was extremely fair for the amount we got, and we appreciated the discounted package of multiple dishes with a side of 8 gyoza!

Favorite teriyaki spot in Seattle. Food is so good. They give big portions, always friendly and have the sauces out to help yourself. Definitely recommend this place!

I've been eating for 10 minutes and have literally not made a dent

Being fresh out of college, I'm always looking for a bang for my buck. Let me just say I've found it with this place! I ordered fried rice for $11, thinking I was splurging. Little did I know I'd have enough fried rice to pass on to my children. Not only was the portion massive but the flavor was amazing. Every bit of food had its own flavor and all together it was a symphony. The chicken was cooked to perfection! The food was ready in 10 mins, the staff was so sweet, and the environment was so cute and comfortable!!!

Best chicken teriyaki in the world PERIOD. Friendly staff, friendlier entrees... if you're serious about making gains, come here. Plenty of carbs and tein for anyone who's serious about tacking on some mass. This is a smile only a spicy chicken bowl can bring to my face.

Was good spot for some good teriyaki seemed after COVID it doesn't have the same quality of food. I have came back to give it a try once more and we'll after this experience I will not be back.

Chicken Teriyaki and Gyoza Lunch Special Combo

Last time I was here, it was before I developed a palate, one that is of a food critic! This time, I'm laying the hammer down after what I have tasted. The lunch special combo of Chicken Teriyaki and Gyoza was not good. The chicken was grilled perfectly, but the teriyaki sauce was way too salty! Teriyaki is supposed to be sweet, not Morton-like! I think I'm going to call them Mortonyaki. It was a plus when they have their salad dressing on the table with the condiments, so that I can squeeze the sauce into the meal, as the dressing has some sweet goodness to it. The salad had no flavor; it didn't matter if I squeezed anymore salad dressing into it, the salad just eats up the flavor. The gyoza was good and crispy. Rice was hard and because of that difficult to swallow. Oh yeah, the coke was good. Didn't do the restroom drill, so don't know if it is clean though. Place that I can say bye-bye!

Chicken teriyaki and I have already eaten some of it...

I love this place so much and will never order teriyaki from anywhere else. We have never dined in before so I can't speak to that, only ordering. By far the best part is amazing prices for so much food I hope it never changes. The chicken is our favorite always great meat with no gross bits and is a yummy char with a great sauce. Also it is accompanied by rice and a small salad. Love this place will always reccomend. Also bonus points for how nicely they have the resteraunt set up for take out during covid.

Chirashi bowl (5/5) For the price, you just can't beat it anywhere else. It's totally worth it with 5 different kinds of sushi, shrimp and eel and roe. The fish tastes fresh and the wasabi is strong. Amazing price, generous portion, excellent quality. Unagyu don (4/5) This bowl has a mix of tender beef and eel and it's quite heavy on the sauce. I wouldn't say it's very salty but it is saucy and you need to mix it with the rice properly to balance it out. The portion is generous and it is very filling. Not bad but I'd go for the chirashi every time.

Georgetown has some nice hidden gems and I would consider this one of them... just good,…read moreno-nonsense Japanese rice bowls of comfort. If you're a fan of Red Bowl in Financial District, this place has a similar vibe with its approach to rice bowls. Having been here twice on different weeks, I think this will become one of my go-to places in the area when I'm craving fresh seafood on a weekend south of downtown. LOGISTICS Parking is convenient for Georgetown area, given they have a dedicated lot for customers of businesses in the area. Entering in, you order through the kiosk and if you're dining in, you can seat yourself and they'll bring the order to you. The space is small for larger groups but if you're 4 people or less, generally there are tables available on off peak hours (at least what we observed Sat/Sun). Ordering happens at the kiosk, which you can choose for takeout or to dine in. Keep in mind there are some items available for dine-in only (ex. udon or seared salmon bowls), but if you plan on doing takeout anyways you can order online or call ahead for pickup. Note - they do close at 2:30 pm but re-open at 4:30 pm. So long as you get your order in by 2:30 pm they'll still service you... which was nice since the last two times we came in around 2:00 PM. FOOD First off, they have nice nice presentation both in how the food is arranged and the bowls they use when dining in. From the ceramic/decorative bowls to the trays they use... it's the little things that add to the dining experience and make you think a business cares about its food. (Note: there was one time we had initially ordered togo but decided to eat in person; so they kept the food in plastic bowls for one of my photos.) In every bowl we had during our two visits, the rice was excellent! We've had some terrible rice at other donburi places before where it can be too overcooked or too mushy. Fortunately their seasoned rice was a good texture and tasty to eat on its own. The seafood was also excellent for the price / quality - fresh tasting with a melt-in-your mouth texture. Volcano Bowl: Spicy salmon + spicy crab salad w/ masago - despite the description it wasn't too spicy (siracha mayo) but it went really well with the rice, like a deconstructed sushi roll. I liked mixing in some wasabi to give it a stronger kick. Aburi Sake Bowl (seared salmon bowl): This is only available to order for dine-in; if you love salmon... I would recommend this one. Seared salmon is delicious seafood umami. I liked how the salmon had the right amount of fattiness too. Chirashi Bowl: If you like variety, then this is an excellent bowl to try a little bit of everything. I was amused that they also included unagi (I don't think I see that in most chirashi bowls). Even the shrimp, which is usually my least favorite part of chirashi bowls, tasted good with a slight sweetness. OVERALL Awesome place and a good location for the area given there's parking available. Price was just right for the quality (I'm amused how much cheaper good seafood is here in Seattle compared to the Bay Area) and the staff were really friendly. There are also two excellent bouldering gyms nearby (Castle Climbing Club and Momentum)... so if you're looking to recharge after a climbing session, I would highly recommend coming here!

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!

Parking is scarce, so plan ahead and be patient. We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food. Come early, expect a line, plan for parking--and you'll be rewarded.
