The lemon chicken! This review is for food and service only. Dined in once, but it was nothing special. Parking is sometimes a little difficult. It shares parking with local small businesses, a yogurt spot, and a boba spot that seems to always be busy. Was introduced to the full experience of this food when my cousin brought over dinner for us during my maternity leave. She ordered us the lemon chicken, hummus and pita combo, salad, falafels, greek fries, and the Gyros plate. All so tasty! My fav from there on out was the lemon chicken and the RICE!!!! For my take out they always had my order ready within the time frame I was quoted. 1 out of 5 times I've order the lemon chicken it was always moist. So the trick is soak the chicken in the lemon sauce that they put in a separate container once you get it home. I've done walk in take out, call in take out, and uber eats or gurb hud (I forget which one they participate with). They never messed up my order yet. read more

I'm never disappointed when I come here. I've dined in, carried out, and had it delivered and it's always spot on. It's our neighborhood Greek place and they have lots of options. Everything is fresh and tasty, and the prices are reasonable. You get a ton of food (I literally got three meals out of one of their entrees) too. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and bright. Best part? They have your order ready in 10-15 minutes. I've called it in and driven over right away and it's ready! So lucky that Mykonos is around the corner! I remember they used to offer a half lemony chicken dinner deal when they first opened ages ago. I miss it. My faves now - Gyro salad (monster size feeds 2) and pita chips made to order. I do love my ruffage and this one is loaded with lettuce, spinach, chunky cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, olives...unlike a certain place that's been on TV. Then it's topped with tons of tasty gyro meat, feta, grilled onions & bell peppers. The cucumber yogurt sauce ties it all together. It comes with a pita that they will fry into chips if you ask them to. Soooo good. Only thing I could possibly gripe about is that sometimes they put a cheesy crumble on top of the chips (YUM!) and sometimes they don't (still crispy chewy good.) I need to remember to request it. My husband likes to get their falafel pita, older girls like their lamb chops and they have hamburgers and chicken strips for the unadventurous kids. By far one of the few places left that has been consistent for years. We got a lot of food for what we paid for. On top of it, it's made to order so everything was fresh and delicious. It was NOT salty and they provide you with everything you may need to eat with it like extra bread, sauce, fresh onion/tomato with a cucumber garlic yogurt! Yum! Consistently good food and friendly service. This has been almost exclusively a takeout spot for me over the last 5 years, but there are TVs inside with sports on and the tables are clean. GYROS and fries and Greek lemon chicken soup are the best. Babaganoush is good here, too. Falafel is average. My goodness do they give really big portions! It's definitely a lot more filling than the gyros at Nick the Greek and at the same price too! I was expecting to order a rice plate when I ordered their 'gyro plate'. I got salad and rice as my two sides. It ended up being served as a gyro in pita bread. And then rice and salad on the side. I guess it kind of makes sense that you do it that way because they give you lots and lots of meat! Seriously. I felt like it was never ending. I loved how they had all their sauces on the table provided for you. So if you want a little extra of something, it's right there at your convenience! I have been here many times. I always get the chicken plate with rice and salad, sometimes the garlic fries. The food is very yummy!! The salad is nice and crisp, the fries are crispy and actually taste like garlic, and the chicken is juicy not dry ! I definitely recommend this place. Was craving gyros and this place really hit. We called ahead for a gyro plate with fries and salad and it was ready in 15 minutes. The gyro was everything I wanted, it was big and packed with meat and extremely flavorful. The sauce in it was seriously amazing and went so well with it. The fries were also great, and the salad was ok, I ended up using my own dressing bc I wasn't really a fan of the one they provided. I did really like their spicy sauce though. We stopped at Mikonos yesterday for the first time after reading great reviews here. Wonderful chicken soulvaki, baba ganoush, and Greek fries. The chicken was moist and tender, baba had a smooth smokiness from the roasted eggplant, and the Greek Fries were out of this world. My friend, who wasn't that hungry, had the Greek salad. She said it was delicious. Friendly, attentive and polite customer service. Will come here again even though it's 35 minutes from home. It is easy for work lunch or dinners with friends because everyone can order whatever they want and can all pay separately. This was my first time having a gyro and this place was delicious! Usually I am known for being a picky eating to the nines but after some peer pressure, I ordered the salmon gyro. It was delicious! A little messy, but def coming back for another bit. Another hidden find in a nook of a strip of businesses. The wonderful thing about Milpitas is that you can nearly find any type of good food within the City's realm. This time I felt like Greek food, so natch a gyro is the first item to be ordered. Another favorite is the roasted lemon chicken dinner with seasoned rice and pita bread. The platter includes 1/2 chicken that is fork tender and extremely tasty. I end up sopping the sauce with the pita...it's that addicting. Went to Mikonos Grill again after a long time as I was craving dessert! I went here around 7:30ish and although it wasn't too crowded there were a few people inside waiting for orders. This is a good place if you are craving gyros/kabobs of the sort and really hit the spot. Now today I ended up ordering loukamades which I have had before and loved. Overall these are crispy fried balls of dough with this honey sauce on top which I enjoy. It is serves warm and is crispy as well! Overall they were good but I have had better. I have been here before and have also tried the chicken souvlaki plate which I would recommend more. The plates and wraps are usually great with juicy meat and great flavors. Overall would go back here, but probably more for the main course which I really liked. read more

After some contemplation, the hubby chose the steak souvlaki plate with a side of rice and salad while I chose the 1/2 Greek lemon chicken with a side of rice and fries. Prices may appear pricey at first glance, but when you look at how much food you get, you'll realize it's an absolute steal! We walked out of there with filled-to-the-brim to-go boxes and a bag of neatly packaged sauces. The hubby's plate was nicely organized into various slots with the tender, grilled beef chunks on top of a fluffy bed of rice. The tzatziki sauce was deliciously creamy and the Greek salad tasted fresh and crisp. As for my chicken, it was certainly a big portion for just one person, offering both a leg and breast in one box. It also came with a side of lemony sauce that added the perfect touch of acidity to the moist chicken. The only complaint we had was that the slices of pita bread were a tad stale and the fries, while seasoned well, were mushy. The hubby and I were positively stuffed by the end of our meal. I stumbled upon this awesome place on a whim, craving some delicious Mediterranean food. I'm so glad I did! It's so close to my house and has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The chicken shawarma plate was the perfect meal for me, filling and full of flavor. Although I can't comment a lot on the ambience since we got our food to go, it seemed pretty popular from the amount of people coming in while we were waiting for our order. I was delivered a takeout order by a friend of mine who came over for dinner last night. And it was a hit for both of us, maybe even more so with my friend who was extremely pleased with their food (its was both of our first time trying Mikonos). The meats (we got Chicken and beef) were delicious and we were both a fan of the orange sauce they were covered in. I personally was a fan of their tzatziki sauce, which of course paired wonderfully with the pita bread. My friend who initially didn't have high expectations of the soup said he even liked the soup that came with our order. Stuffed with a sh!t ton of steak and lamb, Mikonos knows how to feed their meat loving customers. I've also had their Gyro Salad which is pretty damn good. If you ain't feeling carby then order their Gyro Salad. For about $10 you get a huge salad with lots of meat topped with delicious yogurt sauce. Both their gyro and salads are delicious and they are always generous with their portions! You definitely can't go wrong with their Greek Fries. Crispy fries topped with garlic and feta cheese...just makes you want to drool with every single bite you take into them. Staff here is friendly and service here is not too bad either. i swear i wrote a reveiw for this place beforeeee.... but anywyas!!! i work right across the street, so sometimes when i feel like walking during my lunch break or working extra hours during dinner, i come here for a bite to eat! Usually when i go, its pretty empty or SOMETIMES if youre lucky, there are people from the gym who come here to eat.!!! if i could put that emoji with hearts for eyes right now, i would LOLOL I usually get the gyros combo because i cant pass up the fries -- they're too good! BUt sometimes if i can control myself, i just get the gyros sandwich. TOO BOMB. They load up on the beef and lamb -- its so soft and flavorful. THe pita is pretty thick and is slightly toasted so its warm when you get it! The tzatziki sauce is creamy and really emphasizes on the meat, as well as the veggies they put in there... FRIES MMMM pretty hot when you get it and so good but i can never finish it . I always try and eat the salad when i get there, but the dressing doesnt really do it for me ): Customer service is really good. the person at the register is pretty patient and really nice. BRings you your food and when its slow, he comes out and asks if everything is okay , if i need anything.... etc. I would def come here again! $10 for a plate or $7-8 for just a sandwich! read more
