I dropped my car off on August 8, 2022, because my front bumper had minor damage. I drove my car in for an estimate. My car was driveable and everything was intact meaning put together. On August 18, 2022, Donovan Elick contacted me and explain my vehicle needed to be towed out of the shop and took everything apart and this is not how I turn the car in. I expected the car to return back to me driveable. All the body parts altogether. Instead, I was told to get my car towed out of Mike's Auto Body shop at my own expense. I posted photos to prove how I got my car back. This was not how I dropped off my car on the day of my appointment. I did not consent for the staff to take my car apart. This is an example of bad service and business. I am sharing my experience so others don't have to go through this and hope the Bureau Auto Repairs read this posting and file a complaint. after what I went through I do not recommend anyone to go to Mike's for repairs. I am giving this a one star. I am NOT happy with how they are handling my car situation. My old car was stolen and found and it has been over a week at their shop, and I still have NOT receive an estimate if my car is considered a loss or can be salvaged so I know how to move forward in life. I called and left voicemail, and no one got back to me. These people don't have compassion at all even the lady who I spoke to last Friday is horrible at providing information. Customer service is horrible for not getting back to you on a timely manner. You literally have to call them to talk to them coz they don't call you back. They are NOT a people of their word when they say they will call. Even if I don't get an answer, it's nice to get a call back. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND THEIR SERVICE. It is now Monday, and I doubt they will call me of my car status. I feel like I am "JUST A NUMBER" to these people. Take your car elsewhere. I have been to Mike's Auto Body twice now. The first time I needed to get an estimate as my car was damaged from a nearby fire. The staff at the desk was nice! However, the gentleman that was conducting the estimate was not as friendly. He told me most of the cosmetic damage was from something else than the fire, which I found it hard to believe. Nonetheless, I received my estimate and that was all I needed. The second time, I needed to get another estimate for a family member's car. We did not have an appointment this time around. However, again the staff at the desk was accommodating! Another staff conducted the estimate and told me I should receive the results in a few days. However, the estimate never arrived via email. I called to follow up over a week later, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they must be busy, but I was still unable to obtain it. Luckily, I had gone to another body shop that day after Mike's. Overall, I think Mike's Auto Body is a decent shop to check out if you need services. However, I feel like there are other shops in the Concord area that can provide better customer service. read more

I was lightly bumped from behind on the way to church by nice people who could not stop in time. I had slowed because the morning sun was in my eyes when I came over the crest of a backroad hill. Their car was perfect and I didn't want to call it in. I explained to Dustin the story and he said if it was simple they could pop my bumper back into place and to come over immediately. I went straight there and while I waited he had a tech take rivets and bolts and loosen and shove the wrap-around piece into its position and it is good as new!! I am amazed and so grateful. This place is truly a blessing. I used to be loyal to Cook's Collision which does excellent work but has gotten big, "corporate", busy, and less personal since Caliber bought them. I am switching to Mike Rose's Auto Body Repair because this was outstanding service and personal attention and unique civic charity. read more

They had my car for 3 weeks and their communication was disappointing. My car was scheduled for the week prior and when it was not done there was no call and no text and when I tried calling the next day the gal who answered said "Oh your estimator is not here today, you can call back tomorrow." I had to ask her to call into the shop and see when my vehicle would be completed. While she did that I never got al call or a text from my estimator Donovan till my car was done a week later! If you are in the customer service industry communication is a huge part of that and this shop has zero customer service skills. The shop did do a beautiful job on my car but the lack of communication made this a horrible experience and I will never return to this shop for any reason. read more

We took our car there out of recommendation from the insurance company. The appointment just to get our car in took one month! Then to actually check our car and tell us that it needed to be totaled took 3 weeks! We kept calling during all this time trying to get a straight answer but they just brushed us off. I tried everything I could to go somewhere else, but these guys seem to be in partnership with the insurance companies. Going anywhere else would have added a minimum of two weeks to the repair due to the need to get an adjuster. Unfortunately, I should have gone with my gut. Mike's promises delivery in 10 days, and even though they text messaged me all along in the process, on the promised delivery date, they suddenly have one excuse after another, none of the fault being theirs, of course. Upon seeing my review, Mike's tried to bribe me with an offer of two days of car rental to adjust my review. It makes me suspicious of how many positive reviews here are only the result of customers being paid in one way or another. Avoid Mike's, even if your insurance company suggests them. Ok so this is the second time I have used Mike's auto body for my cars repairs... ( Insurance recommends it so it's faster and easier with all the paperwork and estimate).. I was hesitant to use Mike's again but like I said insurance purposes was faster and easier for me. Wow I know I should of taken the car some were else poor customer service by the adjuster and they way they give you ur car back is a joke all dirty and with greasy fingerprints all over the interior overspray in the jams drove the car straight home and found the paint is chipping all already the front bumber is poorly aline with the body in one corner .. still waiting on them to fix and respray the bumer and fix some paint flaws .... read more

The work itself is mediocre on quality. Have had 2 cases of orange peel occurring, as well as some other aspects done sloppy such as plastic pieces loose, fluids not filled to the proper level, headlights not lining up with bumper, etc. The reason I give 3 stars is because their body work is lifetime guaranteed, however it comes down to if the work was done well the first time you wouldn't need to bring it back. That and you then need to set aside more time to bring it in. Will this shop get the job done? Yes. Will it look ok after? Better than when you brought it in. Would I come here again? No. read more

My daughters new car was recently hit while she was at work. Thankfully the person left her a note! When i called the insurance they recommended Mike's autobody for a quote. I had used them in the past so i was happy to go there. All went as best as expected. Derek did a great job communicating with us. The car looks great! The only thing i can recommend is to make sure you have an authorization number and find out what you need ahead of time for a rental car if you plan to leave your car on the same day. We were not expecting to leave the car on the same day of quote but were told we could not drive car at night because the back light was broken. They are an authorized autobody and we were told adjuster would approve. The rental place picked us up. ( Enterprise) It was over an hour and we were unable to leave with a rental car because the insurance for the insured who hit my daughters car had not authorized the car rental. I wish Mike's autobody had guided me with instruction or info as what i would need from the insurance company to get the rental car. They made it seem like it was all taken care of. We had to get a ride home. Made a few phone calls and finally got an auth# sent to car rental place and we were able to return before they closed. It was just a bit of a hassle! First and foremost: Getting into a car accident is a terrifying thing! Never getting into an accident after driving years without one then having to figure out how to deal with the situation, is the next terrifying thing. After easily dealing with my claims adjuster, I headed over to Mike's Auto Body (Fremont St) first, they actually wouldn't allow me to drop my car off while I went to work then come back for my scheduled appointment. I then called Mike's Auto Body (Via de Mercados) and they told me they were open and to come in. I'm so glad I did! I walked in and was greeted right away; the lady at the side desk was so helpful with my questions and just overall great after dealing with all the stress that comes with an accident. Derek then introduced himself, walked me over to my car, and discussed what he thought would happened and answered my questions regarding the process. Since, Derek checked in with me once or even twice a week (my car was with them for 2wks) just updating me on the process, which gave me piece of mind. Then there was Andrew, who concluded when my car was ready for pick up. Andrew went over my invoice and explained which pieces were replaced and what exactly was done. Took my MB C230K in for some front end work at the recommendation of my auto policy holder, Geico. It was convenient in that the Geico agent was on site as was the rental car desk. The front end gal was nice and the repairs were done fairly quickly. BUT...When I picked my car up about 5 minutes into the drive I started to hear a scraping sound and had to pull over. I look and see that there is a piece of something hanging under the front passenger bumper...I call MAB and they tell me to bring it back. I bring it back and they discover that a bolt or some fastener wasn't attached correctly - Quick fix. A week later, as I'm driving down the freeway the fog lamp grill falls off the car and is mangled as I drove over the top of it at 70mph. I call MAB again and this time they are not so helpful...I explain that I have had the car 5 years and NO parts have randomly fallen off before and so it's quite a coincidence that immediately following the work they did, in that exact same location, with the previous faulty attachment that I was pretty sure the two were related. They blew me off and said that it had already beed a week and they had no way of knowing what I might have done or had done to car since they worked on it. SERIOUSLY?! read more

I was on the receiving end of a road rage incident recently and had a big ol' crash on the rear drivers side of my car. Through the insurance of the aggressor in my accident I was directed to Mikes Autobody. They have quite the operation going here. Big open lobby area, plenty of parking and all of their employees were more than helpful. My car was there for an entire week. They have the rental office located inside of their facility. It's very nice to have everything done in house. They called constantly with updates. Every day I got at least two phone calls. Kind of annoying because I was also on vacation that same week. I really don't want to be constantly answering my phone. It was nice to know that I was not forgotten at least. By Friday that week my car was done and looking shiny and somewhat new. It's a company car so I really didn't care anyway. A note to all the bad drivers out there who happen to have road rage. You think you're being a hard ass then you run into me. It's not my car so your rage is lost on me. An elephant could fall out of the sky and land on this car and I wouldn't care. Before you react be sure you're a good driver first of all. Then make sure it's not me you're raging against. I'll just point and laugh at the thought of your insurance premiums going up. I've trusted Mike Rose Autobody for over 20 years. They used to do exceptional work. Now they've been bought out by Crash Champions. I got a message that my car was done, went to pick up, lo and behold, the damage was NOT repaired. I was dumbfounded. The girl at the desk had no idea what was happening and couldn't answer my question on why the work wasn't done. All she could say was, "There was no order put in". I had the estimate in my hand. All she could do was shrug her shoulders and say, "I'm new". Thank God Alphonso is still there, he came out and straightened her out, helped guide her through the process, to which she appeared to be oblivious. They've had my car for over two weeks, (after trying to get an appointment for over a month), and now I have to wait again. I hope Mike is enjoying playing gold somewhere after selling out. What a great surprise. Stopped by here to say hi to someone and then get a quote for a big dent I have on my back bumper. Corey came to help me, gave me a quote, and it was way out of the realm of what I could spend. Well Corey offered to just take my car in the back pop that dent out as best he could. He took it in the back, warmed up the bumper and popped out the dent. It wasn't perfect, but it looked fantastic. He even put some similar colored paint to cover the scratches. AND ALL FOR FREE!! The rest of the staff was pretty nice, but I had no idea I'd leave with that gawd awful dent almost invisible. I am soooo happy now. Since I didn't pay anything, I thought a positive review was due. My car window got broken into 6/27/18 and AAA sent me to safelite to get it repaired. Well, when I got there they wanted to charge me a little over 500$ to fix the triangle back seat window that got smashed. Needless to say, that wasn't going to work for me. I remember passing mikes auto body every once in a while a decided to get a quote from them. The front desk had me fill out some paper work and I took a seat. Andrew came out a few minutes later and we looked at my car then he went to the back to type up the estimate which came out to, 260.49$ MUCH BETTER! The part had to be ordered but got there super quick 6/29/18. Andrew called me that morning letting me know the part had arrived. I took my car in the morning of 7/3/18 and it was done around noon. Picked it up around 3 and the total was only 199$. Side note : they also wiped down the inside of my car and my carpets looked cleaned as well. read more

My experience with MAB was exceptional! Their team (including the front desk) ran like a well-oiled machine -- and I was mostly in contact with Nino A. -- he was the one in charge of giving me updates re: the repairs, timeline, etc. My husband and I are very satisfied with their work and customer service. Nino was professional and he listened to our needs while making sure the car will be done appropriately. They exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the awesome service and making sure my car is safe to drive again. Update: While driving on the freeway, my husband learned that the door of the driver's side was messed up so he called our insurance and Mike's willing took the car back and fixed it. However, when they brought us back the car there was a red scratch on the rim. We had the car professionally detailed before bringing it back to Mike's so we know for sure it wasn't there before. Their receptionist Vanessa was super friendly and helpful when we arrived! Our service rep was Duane who was also friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable and contacted me throughout the entire process to keep me up to date on what was going on! Their work was done exquisitely! My car looked like the day I got her off the lot! The repairs and the paint job were very high quality and professional.
