My wife noticed a considerable amount of evidence of a probable termite droppings on the bedroom floor under the window sill. We made the call to Mighty Mite Termite, and a termite inspection was immediately scheduled by their friendly office manager, Caryn Perron. Mighty Mite's Chris C. arrived to our home promptly as scheduled and did an amazing job of examining all areas of our home for termites. He was very friendly and patient while answering all our questions and explaining the process of eliminating the termites; then he scheduled the termite treatment to accommodate our needs . Mighty Mite's Richard C., Jr and Dakota N. arrived on time did an excellent job of providing the necessary treatments, being very careful to cover and clean up as the areas being treated very thoroughly to ensure the termites would be eliminated. All questions regarding the need for additional repairs were met by the scheduling of a Mighty Mite contracting team to provide an inspection of physical damages. Mighty Mite's Repair Estimator David D. came out arriving promptly as scheduled and began a thorough inspection of all the areas treated for termites. He determined that the structures inside were sound and needed no repairs. He then went outside to examine the roof lines and other structures looking for other damages to include water damages. He found damages then then took time to explain what he felt needed repaired and why. He provided us with an estimate of repairs, which we agreed to, then he scheduled the repairs. Mighty Mite's Construction Repair Crews including Jorge, Gio, Rudy, and Richard C., Sr arrived at our home at the scheduled time and immediately reviewed all areas to be repaired the began doing outstanding job removing all damaged areas and replaced the defective materials as needed. As the repairs were being done additional wood damages were found and properly replaced as needed. The crews were very professional, friendly and answered any questions about their work. As the repairs were being done, care was taken by all team members to clean up immediately after their work was completed. The team even told us to provide paint ( we did) and the new construction would be finished by properly paining and calking as needed. Upon completion of the work, all areas were re-examined by the crew, and touch ups were done to ensure all work met their expectations. When all was done, the work totally exceeded our expectations. I needed to take care of a termite infestation in my condo of which I share walls with others units. I have some difficult neighbors and the home owners association is hands off when it comes to termites. I got inspections and quotes for service from three different companies. Mighty Mite was the third and the inspector, Chris, was immediately personable and understanding of my situation. He explained things clearly and thoroughly. He was adept at dealing with the difficult aspects of the job. Finding termite droppings in our living room was horrid and terrifying, so I'm thankful to MightyMite for dealing with it so professionally and efficiently. We are really pleased with the quality of the service we received in all our communications with the company. Chris C first came out for the free inspection and, in addition to finding the termites we knew we had, found some other spots with termites as well as pointed out some dry rot issues. Then Scott and Charlie came out and very efficiently got the job done. They were careful, conscientious and thorough and and explained everything they were doing. They were easy to communicate with and flexible when I had to reschedule the appointments a couple of times because of my schedule. During a recent inspection, several locations were tagged as needing repair due to termites and dry rot, at which point we discovered that MightyMite has experienced personnel that are qualified to do such repairs. Dave came out and gave us a quote that was quite reasonable, and was able to schedule a team to repair the siding and rafter-tail that had issues in just a matter of days. We've just had another visit from Mighty Mite, and we couldn't be happier. Last year we had them do an inspection and spot treatment, as we had discovered some minor termite activity in our home. As part of that contract, we were granted a 2-year warranty on service calls and free annual inspections. One year later (recently), we discovered more termite activity and called them back for an inspection and service. Erick A. arrived on time, and was very friendly and professional. He thoroughly inspected the entire house: inside, outside, in the attic, and in the crawlspace under the house. He pointed out the issues he found, and was very honest. He did not try to sell us on any extra services or claim that we had more problems than we did. Additionally, he offered to spot-treat the new termite activity himself, right then and there, instead of scheduling a separate appointment for someone to come out later. We happily accepted. We recently used Mightymite Termite Contractors for wood repairs due to wood destroying pests. Areas of repairs needed were identified, quote was provide and work was scheduled. The construction crew (Jorge, Gio, Rudy and Richard) came on time, introduced themselves and were very courteous and professional when dealing with my husband and I. Before they started work on our property they identified and showed us all the areas they would be working on. During the 8 hours they worked, they continually kept cleaning after themselves. As part of addressing the dry wood termite infestation in my home, the MIghtyMite construction team of Jorge Escobar and Rudy Rosas carefully evaluated the situation before removing and replacing the wood invested sections of my house. They did a fantastic job! They throughly explained what was to be done, how they would do it along with their timeline. Their work included removing and replacing siding, eaves and joists, and stabilizing foundation under an area with a very small crawl space. They completed this work on schedule. This company is spectacular. I was impressed from the first call to this company. I called the other one that think the world of themselves and was completely unimpressed. I had some dust coming out of my windowsill and found out that it was subterranean termites due to some wood touching the soil. The inspector identified the area they were entering and identified some potential entry points. They also gave me a simple remedy to the potential areas. They also told me there will be some wood replacement they will be able to do in the near future. The price was reasonable and a good value. I opted for the service and a preventative measure. The crew came out, explained the work they were going to perform while they walked me around my home. When they completed it; they also walked me around. I highly recommend their service. We had the dryrot wood repair on the garage door frame, trim and siding done by Mightymite in San Jose. David provided the estiamte and explained how the work needs to be done and answered any questions, he is very easy to work with. Rudy and Mario came out the first repair and discoved additioal damage and need another visit with the right material to complete the job. Again David provided a quick quote even he was sick at home (glad to hear that he has recoverd and back to work). They finished what could be done and prepared next work. They both are friendly and provided suggestions to prevent fututre water damage. Rudy and Richard came on the 2nd visit for repair in a very hot day. They work logically to manage the efficiency of caulking, painting, and repair. They also suggested what works best for on going maintenance and answered many questions I had. Mightymite inspector John Schaefer called me ahead of time and arrive on time. He checked every piece of wood outside the house, including the shed. He found the trace of termite but he told me it was from previous one but it had been treated. He then went under my crawl space and did a thorough inspection, and informed me there is not ACTIVE termite. Seems the previous termite treatment done in 1997 worked great. And there no active termite in the crawlspace either. When I bought this house, the termite report estimated the cost is 9000$+. The trustworthy inspector John just saved me that trouble and $. My recommend to all readers is, at least give MightyMite a chance to look at it. If there is no active termite, they will tell you the truth, and it cost you nothing. It was a hot day at 3PM, John sweated when he came out crawlspace. I really appreciate his honesty. And he covered the floor and cleaned after himself. The inspector Mr. John S. came to my house twice and talked/texted with me many times on the phone to coordinate the plan and discussed the treatment details. I really appreciate very much for his dedication, flexibility and efforts. Because my house is in a major remodeling he decided to have his team come twice for a two phase treatment - one before foundation work and one after - to get the best results. Let me first specify, I have done my research on various companies and have had 4 termite inspections from the ones I felt would take care of my termite issues in a timely, professional manner. Upon having 3 other companies out to my home, I was thoroughly impressed with MightyMite. Not only did they offer me various treatment methods, they also gave their professional opinion as to which would be the best treatment option. The gentlemen who came to my home a few days after the inspection were professional, clean cut, wore shoe covers, and explained the service I purchased in extreme detail. I contacted MightyMite after finding subterranean termites in a piece of wood I had in my vegetable garden. John came out and did a thorough inspection. He was quite knowledgeable about the different types of termites and explained to me his findings; we set up an appointment. He also emailed me a typed copy of his report and a copy of the contract. On the appointed day, and right on time, I might add (something strangely lacking in today's service people) Chris and Bill came out to take care of the pesky little devils. They were courteous, efficient, and full of information on the type of termites I had and the product they would use to exterminate them. They caused no damage around or under the house and if they had to move something, they made sure it was put back before leaving. From the inspection to the treatment, this company, IMO, deserves 6 stars. We had three pest control companies come to our home in Carmel Valley and do inspections. Two of those companies are nationally known, and then a friend told us about Mighty Mite Termite. The Mighty Mite inspector thoroughly checked inside, outside, and under our house, and told us we had 'terra termites'. We arranged the date for the crew to come out which, by the way, was on a Saturday and was strictly voluntary on the part of employees.
