Hidden gem, folks!!!! Hidden in a tiny strip mall on Main Street! We stopped in to try a new spot for a late lunch. I'm so glad we did! Having not eaten all day, we were starving. I ordered some Sangria...the red, delicious. The couple next to us were sharing something so we asked for the same. Breakfast pizza. Thick bacon, cubes of chorizo, perfect egg for my hubbie. the menu said sunny side...he won't touch those. the chef was kind enough to make them them medium. What a treat! Salty meat, crunchy crust, velvety egg yolk. My husband ordered french toast. so so good. he's a big guy so the portion could have been larger. I got a shrimp dish. it was also very tasty. a tomato broth and toast points. we also had dessert. peach & blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. i had a chocolate volcano cake. Both totally worthy of the sugar/calories consumed! While my 6'5" husband thought the portions small, I thought they were perfection. allowing us to have apps and dessert! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Also, let me mention the hostess extraordinaire, May, It was quite busy when we arrived and she moved from table to table swiftly and gracefully with a smile and not a smidgen of stress. OK this place was seriously good! It' doesn't look like much in a strip mall, but the ambience was clean, fresh, and quaint. The menu is relatively small but with good variety and changes regularly. Some unexpected twists on traditional foods that made it interesting and fun. It's all cooked to order and AMAZING. The kitchen is open to dining and we watched the owner/chef busily preparing meals. Inside is nice and very clean. Uncomfortable chairs and ok open atmosphere. House wine is quality and a good choice by chef. Ingredients seem to not be very fresh. Maybe because the place is empty and not turning tables. Wilted salad missing multiple advertised menu ingredients with old tasting onions not pickled properly. Shrimp tasted bland and steamed instead of sautéed. Scallops were translucent, just a bit undercooked however had a nice presentation. Calamari was over cooked and rubbery with coating falling off. tomato compote was too chunky to dip. Air conditioner is not working properly which did not help. Very stuffy and hot. read more

Miggs Craft Kitchen is the best restaurant in Dunedin! The food is delicious and presented in such a beautiful way. We had fettuccini alfredo with clams, mussels, shrimp, and lobster. There was an abundance of seafood, not just a little serving of each. We also had the chicken cordon bleu. It was so crispy on the outside and moist and succulent on the inside. And the Rhode Island calamari appetizer was the best calamari I have had outside of Rhode Island! All the ingredients were fresh and not frozen. The food was so fresh with seasonal ingredients. The chef is a delight to talk to, he has had so much high end experience for such a young chef and his training and experience from working in many 5 star restaurants in NY definitely shows through. You can even watch Miggy prepare your meal in the open kitchen. He is more than a chef, he is an artisan. Definitely a place to try in Dunedin. read more

Miggs is a wonderful experience. The restaurant is small (10 tables inside and 4 outaide) and simply decorated. The menu is small too, but very intriguing. The Chef described it as Mediterranean Euro-Asian. We had Shrimp Pad Thai and Crispy Chicken Open Face Toast and Peach Blueberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. Outstanding food and service ! My wife had the scallops and I had the braised short ribs . My wife and I go out for dinner a lot and though we had read the reviews we were still amazed at how good our dinners were. We will be regulars for sure . This is a "fast food" restaurant with better than average food. We were celebrating a birthday but after arriving with reservations for a party of five were told we had to be finished in 1 1/2 hours. No way to enjoy bottle or two of wine, appetizers, or dessert if entres are ordered In that limited time. There are other nice restaurants in the area that appreciate and produce fine dining, especially for special occasions. Take note Miguel. read more

While the food is delicious - on my 1st visit at 1130 on a Thursday I was offered a breakfast and lunch menu, on my 2nd visit at 11 am on a Wednesday I was offered a lunch-only menu. Don't miss this place!! We have eaten here several times and the food is just..sensational!! It's a small menu, but we have had almost everything on it and it's hard to pick a favorite. The short ribs melt in your mouth, the shrimp pad Thai is fabulous, the seafood risotto (or fettuccine) has lots of shellfish and is so flavorful and the rosemary chicken is just delicious. All the appetizers are excellent. Save room for dessert. Peach cobbler or crème brûlée. Just incredible!! Miguel, the chef/owner, is a superstar!! It's our favorite restaurant in town. Food was bland, had no flavor whatsoever. From the drink I ordered, to appetizer I got and the entree. None of them were good, especially not for the price I paid! My sangria was basically fruit water, the waiter touched the fruit skewer with his hand which is disgusting, and the "rosemary" smoke was NOT a good touch, just stop offering that. The try to portray some kind of fine dining experience but it just wasn't that at all. The ambiance was cringy, no music, the decor was cheap and old. On the menu they claim the pasta was house made, maybe house made in a factory. The other red flag was that I came in on a Friday, and was there for a good amount of time, and literally only ONE other couple came to dine in. Maybe it was a slow night, maybe other people feel the same and the place is just eh. Prohibition kitchen across the street walked circles around this place. Go there instead! read more

Slammed at 1:00, short staffed, and yet a very good experience. Staff was courteous and as quick as possible. Food was very good. Burgers and steak prepared rare as requested; burger kind of overwhelmed the brioche bun, but all was delicious. Burgers are on both the brunch and lunch/dinner menus. Lovely red sangria. Sadly, they were temporarily out of peach/blueberry cobbler. Every person who left commented that they would be returning. Dining area is well-styled and more modern than one generally sees in this area. We will be among those whno return. read more

Made reservations, place is small so they're necessary. Empty table at front window but was seated way at the back by the bathrooms, so obviously saving the good table for someone more important. Sat at table, the table dressing (glass bowl with flowers) was overwhelming the space and greasy, so I asked for it to be removed. Whole restaurant pervades with odor of cooking grease. Obviously the hood vents aren't working, space was hot and odiferous. Waitress apologized for the temperature, says it is pretty normal. Had a bottle or Sauv Blanc, French (not my favorite) Had the salad appetizer, fantastic! Ordered a burger superior quality and flavor. Would highly recommend both. Ordered a glass of malbec, glass was not as clean as I would like, kind of smudgy on the one side. Drank from the "less smudgy" side. Ordered the lava cake and 4 spoons. Very good. Place finally cooled off once the crowd dwindled down. Would I go back? Eh, coin toss. read more

Classy restaurant. Sangria was good. I had the seafood fuscelli. Way not worth the price of 26.00 never mind it was cold. My husband had shrimp with sausage and spices ( appetizer) had just about the same amount of food that I did and his was steaming hot. He ended up eating the rest of mine. Mine was ok but not for the money. Lobster.missing in the dish. Matt told us we should have told him sooner about the missing lobster, however I forgot it was supposed to be in there my husband noticed it. No salt and pepper on tables because " the chef cooks the meals seasoned so you shouldn't need salt and perrep besides there's only two.sets of salt and pepper shakers in the restaurant. " read more

Amazing food, horrible service. Came in at 1pm on a Thursday, waited 10 minutes to get seated and then had to wait 10 minutes just for water, which we had to ask for. Totally understandable if it's busy but it was slow and only half of the 12 tables were being used (literally 10 people). We watched him slowly walk around aimlessly and tend to other tables instead and disappear to the back. Better yet, the waiter Max comes over and while pouring the water goes on a rant. In the most rude and passive aggressive way, he states "Yeah sorry about that the owners make me the host, waiter and busser so I'm the only person here. There's nothing I can do about it. And it's been super busy all morning and busy right now so". And then, his phone starts ringing super loud and he reaches in his pocket to answer it, without even finishing pouring our glasses! I couldn't believe it. Immediately after I saw him go to the chef and point to our table and laugh... My in-laws said the food was worth it so we stayed and did enjoy the food, but have to say it is so sad for a restaurant to lose business and get poor word of mouth due to incompetent, rude, stoned employees who can't keep their eyes open and have to ask me to repeat my order several times. read more
