Great food! We stopped to get dinner prior to a show, and this was a perfect spot for that. Friday night at 5:00 pm, there were plenty of seats both inside and out that were vacant. But it did fill up as the evening progressed. We sat outside where there was a nice breeze, then it stopped, and back again. Gnats and a pesky fly was shoo'd away, otherwise, outside was just fine. Calamari was cooked with the tender texture and light batter outside. Thankfully the dish was not overcooked. The two sauces accompanied. Both had spice but not overpowering. My bistro steak was cooked and sliced to the perfect temp I asked for. Asparagus was plentiful as were the mashed potatoes. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, and the mash potatoes with green chili were wonderful and plentiful. I had to take half of the serving home in a box. The key lime pie was shared, on the smaller side, but did it pack a punch of that tart lime flavor. Delicious! Great place to stop off on the way. Nice staff and clean store! Highly recommend!

My wife and I loved everything about Midtown Bistro. This was our first time there, and we went with a group of nine (Santa Fe Foodies). The food and service were first-rate. The Calamari is very nice, and two great sauces accompany this lovely appetizer: chipotle aioli and habanero pineapple sauces. I had the delicious crab cakes, and my wife had the Salad Nicoise, which had superb rare Ahi Tuna. Both dishes came with fresh and lovely greens. Excellent! Our service was top-notch (thank you, Eli). The restaurant has a lovely interior. I would love to come back and dine on the patio, which wasn't opened today. We will certainly return and highly recommend Midtown Bistro.

Midtown Bistro is kind of hidden from the street, but it's located right next to Santa Fe Stone so you'll be able to see stone pieces in their patio which are so beautiful. We dined on the patio and the ambiance was absolutely lovely. You could hear the water trickling from the stone fountains and all the pretty flowers. It was a great spot for a date night and I can't wait to return. The food was fantastic and one of the most memorable meals I've had in a while because everything was a flavor explosion, but not overly done. We started with the calamari and it was some of the best I've had. The sauces were tasty but what I loved most was how crisp the squid were without being greasy at all. The half rack of lamb was a perfect amount for me and served with the tastiest truffle potatoes that were like whipped cream in consistency. The Swiss chard was also cooked nicely and paired so well with the dish. My boyfriend had the filet mignon that was to die for with a compound butter on top and paired with a delicious gruyere potato gratin. We opted for a dessert to go and the carrot cake was the perfect ending to our night. I can't wait to go back here!

Overpriced and poor quality. They charged $65 for a ribeye that was mostly fat. Will not eat at there again

The food was delicious, but I decided on Coyote Cafe because of the dessert menu, and the burnt honey cake absolutely lived up to and surpassed my expectations! You can really taste banana leaf, the shaved halva adds a lovely sweetness, and it just melted in my mouth. The service was impeccable. They called me by name the entire time and even though I look quite young for my age, they treated me with respect. Their timing throughout the meal was perfect too, very attentive, but not stiflingly so. I exceedingly enjoyed my meal here, and I'll definitely be back to enjoy all the other dishes I want to try here.

The vibe was eclectic, the view was nothing special, but we were definitely in a happening spot. We did not sample any food during our visit, but we did sample a margarita and a cold beer. Service was poor. It took a long time to place our drink order and an even longer time to get the Alice margarita and a bottled beer do not know what the hangup was but 10 to 15 minutes to get those drinks seems a little bit excessive. The margarita was nothing special, although you don't expect anything special from a house margarita, most of the time... They had a margarita filled with special and unique margaritas that looked interesting to say the least - overall it's on the list of places you must see... But I don't know why it has made the list. I was just disappointed.

Set inside a beautifully restored historic adobe home, the atmosphere is both elegant and warmly inviting--perfect for a memorable evening out. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. Our waitress, Cari, delivered truly superb service--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm. She made thoughtful recommendations and ensured every detail of our dining experience felt seamless and special. The food itself was outstanding. Each dish was artfully presented and layered with rich, well-balanced flavors. It's clear the kitchen takes pride in using high-quality ingredients and crafting a menu that feels both creative and refined. We each enjoyed our own Oven-Roasted Pork Belly appetizer - aaahmazing! Very generous portion of lobster with the Grilled Maine Lobster dish and the Oven-Roasted Beef Short Rib was cooked to absolute perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant with Cari and all the staff for your next evening out.

The ultra-professional wait staff is as notable as the food, which is divine. Edward from New Jersey is an especially charming waiter. Fantastic dishes our group tried and adored included: Jumbo Asparagus Salad; Chilled Spring Pea Soup; Maple Leaf Farm Duck Breast; Pan-Seared Scottish Salmon; Black Angus Prime Beef Tenderloin; Molten Bittersweet Chocolate Cake; and assortment of house-made ice creams and sorbets (we had cinnamon ice cream, ginger sorbet, and coconut sorbet). I thought the little cards they do at the table with fun facts about their staff was a really nice touch. The food was okay but I wouldn't say it blew me away. This restaurant was not my first pick, but rather a family members. From the menu alone, I could tell nothing overly excited me. I will fully admit I'm not keen on complicated menu items and flavors, but I came into it willing to try. We ordered the bread basket, pork belly and shrimp appetizers. Without us asking, they kindly split the plates, knowing we'd be sharing. I appreciated how they went above and beyond (truly) but the portions were so small, it probably wasn't needed. The bread was fine but nothing to write home about. Of the piece of pork belly I had, it was pretty dry but everyone else seemed to enjoy so I may have just grabbed the bad piece. The shrimp was good enough, but not so memorable I'd wax poetic about it. For my meal I had the beef tenderloin (3:4 of us did, actually) and one had the chicken breast. Presentation was truly beautiful. My beef was very good. The potato aligot was fine but nothing to write home about other than its unique placement on the plate. For dessert we had the molten chocolate cake which was very good. Overall, a solid 4:5 stars. Great service, nice outdoor balcony (though, unfortunately, the flies were on one that evening, but that could happen anywhere you eat outside), really well done drinks...but the food left something to be desired, especially at that price point. Still worth the visit in case we caught it on an off night!
