I found a coupon online which included a oil change and tire rotation for $29.99. I am always looking for a new place that has great deals and won't pressure me. I called, got a appointment the next day as showed up at my scheduled time. I was greeted nicely, and wasn't pressured into any extra services including synthetic oil which some places have told me I needed, but per Chevrolet I don't ( 2012 Chevy Sonic ). They told me it would be a hour, I went to the nearby stores for shopping and came back in a hour and my car was done! When I showed up that was it!! No added pressure of anything extra. My car was fine and they said my tire tread was fine and I didn't need my tires rotated. As a woman I am always afraid of going new places as I have been to some chain places where they are always trying to add on extras like air filters or extra services. Probably worst service I have ever received at an auto shop. This morning I took my car in for a 75$ full synthetic oil change on my 2015 wrx. Everything was routine, took about 45 min with all the perks of balancing tires and etc. After the service was done, got into the car as normal and proceeded to drive off. I immediately noticed that something was wrong with my car, it was making a clanking noise like one of the tires was not put on correctly. Immediately u-turned and went back to midas. As I told the employees the issue, sure enough the front right side tire was not bolted down at all! As they checked if there was any damage, they assured me there was not when they inspected both the wheel and the car. I went inside to speak to the manager and requested if they can notate this incident down in case something happened because of this issue. His first response was "well if you hit a pot hole we are not going to be responsible for that"... I proceeded to say that it was not the point, it's an expensive car and I will not be liable if anything was bent and cause issues later. Then he agreed to write up the notes and hand me something in writing stating "okay I can do that, but now you'll have to wait 5 min"... with the most insincere attitude like I was inconvinincing him. He did not put himself in my shoes, and made it seem like a simple task of adding notes was too much to ask for A PROBLEM THEY CAUSED. They failed to check, and gave me my car without full inpection. Sorry but you have now lost a customer for life. read more

It's great service but I realized that the estimate I had was way off the original price. More than $100 off. I wish they could atleast stay %10 within the estimate range that they said they would. We had a problem with our Emergency brake handle, the manager came out and took a look at it and fixed it in a matter of seconds, he didn't even charge me!! I told him I'd be back... So a few months later we come back for an AC problem, it smelled awful, I think something crawled up inside and died, anyway, they "fixed" it which basically was meant they sprayed some kind of $10 hooker perfume in attempts to cover up the rotten/mold smell, on top of "sealing" the AC unit. After a few months the smell came back, I called them up and they told us to bring it back and drop it off. After being without a vehicle for a day and again the fix was more of that $10 hooker perfume being sprayed around in the vents. I gave up and haven't been back. Needless to say, when the manager's away the smart-assed lazy "worker" bees sit on their collective asses and pass the buck.... 2 stars for when the manager's in, things get done, sadly, he's a busy man and not always around... read more

You guys got lucky by getting even the one star. This is the most shittiest experience I have ever encountered in my entire life. Not too long ago, I stopped in with a problem, after a quick checking they said to make an appoint. Last week I called, made an appointment, got there and they gave me the free check inspection. After all, hoses, timing belt, tires, brake pads on front, brake shoes on back, flush of brake fluid and alignment were all problems. My timing belt is a damn chain, doesn't need replacement, hoses are all fine since I have had them checked at a better shop last month. Anyways, I have left the shop, drove my car to another, shop where we have been fixing all our family cars. When trying to take the tires off, on the front right side wheel, a stud brakes, later on the left side, same wheel, 2 studs. ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME? DAMN IDIOTS. It took me 2 hours and extra $25 to take care of the problem the simple and fast way by polishing the stud's head so it can fit else would've taken hundreds of dollars and time to fix it the right way. Turns out brake shoes on the back wheels are completely fine. Flushed the brake hydraulic system, replaced pads on front, etc. They tried to charge me $1,000,00 for tires, brakes, alignment, flushing and all the labor. Their labor and fees ($550 was equal to all the parts and tires $540). Shittiest place ever, they do their best to RIP YOU OFF AND BRAKE STUFF ON YOUR CAR ON PURPOSE. What kind of people and shop do this?! What the hell is your guy's problem? I really hope karma gets you all. Only idiots. Don't know how to do it? Dont damn do it then, its damn simple. Thanks for the extra time and money wasted. I will make sure that everyone who suggested you guy to me isnt coming back there and I will make sure to re-post this all over the internet so other people dont have to go through this; getting jacked and ripped off. I just got off the phone with Dave and I couldn't be much happier. I took my car in a few weeks ago and had $2000 worth of work done on it. There was a minor problem that wasn't addressed because, if I recall correctly, they couldn't get the problem to replicate in the shop. So I took my car home and the problem happened on the way home and then a couple weeks later. I brought the car back in and they fixed it. Because it was an issue that could have been resolved with all of the previous labor, I was only charged this time for the parts it took to fix it. I'm very pleased with the service I've received and the sense of fairness that I feel they used to solve the problem. I will return. read more

The last time I decided to shop around a little. I went to 2 different shops, on Aurora, and both places I went to were under $450!! Less than half!! Good people. I had a loud noise, clearly something was wrong. I had called the dealership and they were too busy to help, even by returning a phone call. JR took a look, and advised me it was still under warranty, so I should take it to the dealership. He also advised me he had seen the same issue in other cars from this manufacturer. He helped when the dealership could not. I will return when I need work done. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is they didn't actually do any work so I cannot comment on all their service. I came in her a few days ago to get some estimates and an overall inspection on my vehicle. I was scheduled an apt with Kenny and I brought my car in. Kenny was very honest about what I did and did not need done. He was even nice enough to help me prioritize which things my car needed and how long until certain things needed servicing. Five stars, unreservedly. Manager Dave Davis is knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant. My original problem was a flat tire, plus two balding tires, in an oddball size that I couldn't find at other tire stores. Midas had a sale, but unfortunately not including those tires. Dave went the extra mile to work with me, ordering the last 4 tires from Goodyear, throwing in an alignment, and doing the service in one day, for less than I could have spent on 3 tires elsewhere. When I noticed a severe squeak in the rear after picking up the car, Dave obligingly set an appointment for the next working day. They performed a free brake check, cleaned the surfaces for free, did not try to upsell me. That appears to have solved the squeak for now. One thing more - Midas's building is attached to the Aurora Donuts building, and hard to spot from the street. read more

Went in for an oil change. They did a free diagnostic and concluded that I need new rear brakes immediately and that the front brakes were about 50% worn and that they could change them all at once. I had a friend who happens to be a mechanic change the front brake pads just 2 months prior. At this time my friend checked the rear brakes and said it would be a few years until i need to think about changing them. These guys are deceptive. I won't be back. read more

I went in to get an estimate for a new muffler and he quoted me 180 over the phone, I go into the shop and they inspected it and supposedly found more wrong with it and then I got quoted 615$ . That semmed way to much and I was feeling they where taking advantage of me cause I'm young. They didn't even put the service mat into my car when they drove it! But they put it in the other two cars before me.
