I regularly bring my car to this location for oil changes and tire alignments, but every single time they are extremely slow. You end up waiting at least 2 hours and a half, even with an appointment. If you don't have enough staff or you're too busy to handle customers on time, why are you even giving appointments in the first place? This location is completely disorganized and poorly managed. Pick somewhere else. For any service at all, it will take them hours to get to you. This is not necessarily their fault entirely. There are so many other issues though. I had to wait there for many hours for my vehicle to be worked on. I witnessed that, surprise surprise, every single customer that came in with one issue, turns out after the mechanic checked the vehicle, oh dear, it has so many other problems. That is a very strange coincidence. They told me I needed an oil change. I knew I was 2,000 miles from needing one. Once I got the car back, verified my mileage, I spoke to the manager, and asked why I was told I needed an oil change, when obviously I did not. He just stared at me. And when he quoted me a price for the oil change, oddly, he didn't say a price out loud, he pointed to a price on a piece of paper. I thought it was very cheap for that service. However, when I was all done, and I was handed my 'recommended' services, I saw that the price he pointed to was only a tiny fraction of what the actual cost of an oil change was. He was purposely misleading and dishonest. The biggest, blatant, most aggregious thing was this: a mechanic came in after inspecting another customer's car (the customer was not there). I heard him tell the manager that the car was good, he could not find any problems at all beyond what the vehicle was brought in for. The manger said this: "OK, I'll do something, then." Reliable transportation is a must to regularly help out some older family members. So, one of our group helped to attain a 'newer' model passenger car and purchased 4 new tires at North Seattle Firestone. That service worked out well, so it was followed up with a full service and safety inspection, a great value, and a very good choice for the money involved. Real peace of mind knowing the condition of the 'family' car. A year later, the dashboard alert light signals that the tire pressure needs adjustment. Firestone said they will perform this minor repair as a complimentary service (for anyone). Just bring her in, park in front of bay one, and ask for assistance from DeWayne or one of his assistants, as this is a quick and easy job. Sunday looks like a slower, less busy day that can be combined with shopping with family while in the area. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service, the older man working the front desk was incredibly rude, short and dismissive. He took a very long time to check me in, told me my car would be ready at 2, and when I came back at 2 to pick up my car he did not seem to know anything about my car. When I asked for estimate for when my car would be finished he snapped at me and told me to sit down, never sharing a time estimate- I also observed him treating every other customer in this rude, snappy, and uncaring fashion. An HOUR later my car was finished and I was thankfully checked out by the technician who worked on my car Julia she did a wonderful job and these two stars I'm leaving are for her EXCLUSIVELY. What a bummer. I live close to this location and needed a tire after a flat. I expected a wait; what I did not expect was how cold and rude the team was. The person couldn't be bother to help me with the car when I had questions. I had to take a picture and bring it to him. He gave me no options on tires, he gave me no recommendations for replacing anything (I needed windshield wipers). Just a price and "pick it up at end of day". I opted out and limped my car a few miles away to discount tire. Unlike my experience at this shop, the crew was helpful, and fixed it in a hour. Offered to replace my windshield wipers, and I bought the warranty. They also had a completely full bay. read more

After calling four different tires stores (and looking at several others online), Firestone was the only one that could get my size tire for a reasonable price and in a timely fashion (other shops were going to take a week, Firestone got them in by the next day). Super grateful to Duane, specifically-- he was so nice, especially considering how peeved I was about the whole ordeal (both my front tires from a competitor went totally bald and flat after less than a year, and I paid significantly more for them than I paid at this Firestone). I will definitely be back. The only con is that they were pretty busy and techs were limited. read more

I would NOT recommend taking your car here for service based on my very negative experience. It was essentially a waste of time. I brought my car in recently as I had a flat tire from a nail puncture. In order to get it to the shop, I inflated it with the sealant in the air compressor kit that came with the car. When I told the surly, unhelpful and unfriendly guy at the front desk, he told me there would be no way they could repair it because of this, and that I would need to order a new tire (and possibly have to replace all 4 tires!!) that they didn't have in stock. Then another guy who checked my car for tire info told me it looked like there was a lot of wear on the tread and it could be caused by an alignment issue. Well, that was a red flag, and so I left and took my car into the dealership I regularly use for service on my other cars. They were super friendly and able to not only immediately take it as a drop off (no appointments - they were scheduled out a few weeks), but they were able to quickly get it cleaned out and patched up for only $17! (less than what they guy at Firestone had quoted me initially for the same thing). I don't know what the deal was, but looking back, it feels like they were either clueless, or trying to upsell me. Overall, the customer service was extremely poor. Thank God I left. read more

Don't bring your car here, these guys DO NOT know what they are doing or they do and will try to scam you of unneeded services. Our simple oil change ended up costing us $1000 extra in "other" maintenance that they said was required. Our car was perfectly fine before coming here and when we brought it home, we had all sorts of fluid leaks which ended up us having to bring the car back 3 times to get it fixed but were charged for it because they did not "foresee" the problem. This dishonest company stoops to any level to make a buck. I went in for the one-day lifetime alignment deal that they have on New Years Day. This year, that was supposed to get me a lifetime alignment for $150. I dropped off my car (a 2004 model) and went somewhere to wait. On the invoice, i noticed that they added an extra $10+ charge and tried to pass it off as part of "taxes" (actual taxes were also added, separately). I figured i'd ask about it when i picked up the car. A couple of hours later, they called me to tell me that they have to add on another $125 to synchronize the driver assist system with the alignment services. I asked for an explanation and was told that that lane assist, etc. needs to be coordinated with the alignment, and they wouldn't want to do half a job. I told them my vehicle is a 2004 model, and it has no driver assist features, but they said i can accept the charge or come back to collect my unaligned car. When i returned to retrieve it, unaligned, i probed further, and worked my way a few people up the chain. The final explanation was that the extra $125 fee is due to having anti-lock brakes. Considering the fact that _ALL_ US cars since 2000 are required by law to have anti-lock brakes, neither the claim for the manner in which it was presented pass the sniff test. At this point, i also asked about the extra $10 charge. The service rep pointed to the bottom of a sign, on the far wall behind the service desk, where, in tiny print, it said that they would add an extra $10 service charge to any bill over a set amount (i forget -- $100? $120?). The gentleman at the front desk spoke in a calm and soothing tone; a very kind tone, however he used every opportunity to use rude words and was super condescending all while "sounding" nice. He was very adept at being passive aggressive and should not be in customer service. I brought my car in for an AC problem. The driver side had nice cool air and the passenger side and was blowing hot air. Initially they thought it was a blocked vent and I set an appointment to have it investigated. They discovered that the passenger side of the vehicle has its own gauges to regulate heat and air conditioning. I did not know that my car had this feature. They called me about an hour after I brought it in and told me that the car was completed. When I came in to pick it up, they didn't even charge me for the courtesy examination. I brought it to the local Honda Dealer prior to fire stone and they wanted $600 nonrefundable to diagnose my AC problem. From now on firestone will be my homebase for auto repairs. Great corporate web facing. The issue at the store is you can call and let the phone ring for 15 minutes with no answer. So the website encourages you to book online. You make the appointment, take time off work, drive across Seattle - then find that the Aurora people don't look at the web bookings. Unless these guys call and confirm that they have time you don't have an appointment. They are overbooked and can't manage a schedule. Day wasted. Too bad I bought my tires here and bought extra for that lifetime repair program. Money for the company because you can never get in. Fail. Firestone saved my day! Definitely a rough one as I drove on flat tires. I couldn't find my tires anywhere for a decent price. I quickly got an appointment and though my car took about 3 hours to get done, it got done. The folks there were friendly and there was one man who stood out. Of course I can't remember his name but he had tattoos and was wearing a hat (his name is Duane-just found out) . As I left Firestone, my car began to stall. As it was perfectly fine before, I called Firestone and asked for help. It took a few minutes but this gentleman actually drove out to me, postponed his lunch, and helped me out. He explained that it was Vapor lock which I'd never heard of but he fixed it and had me test it by driving back to the shop... Like around the same block. I made a 1pm appointment to have an oil change and replace my brake pads. I left my car at 12 noon and told them I did not need it done by 4pm. The guy said he would call me when car is done. 5:30 came and I have not heard from them. I called and the guy wjo answered said he will check with the mechanic if my car is ready and call me back. 6:45pm came and no call. My wife and I decided to go and see if our car was done. When we got there, our car was still parked in the same spot we left it. I could tell right away that they have not started working on it. The guy gave a lame excuse that they were backed up. I told him he could have called me a earlier to let me know they could not work on our car so we could have picked it up and take it to another repair shop. I came in a year ago to get my car examined because the rear bearings were damaged (I did not know at this time). There was an audible rumble coming from the back wheels while driving, and I knew there was an issue somewhere. The exam was cheap and took a day, but the mechanics concluded that there wasn't any issues and that I was okay to keep driving. One year later, I decided to bring my car into a different auto shop for an exam because the rumble is still quite audible. These mechanics notified me of the bearing damage and mentioned how it is dangerous to be driving on these damaged bearings. Additionally, because I was driving on the damaged bearings for over a year, there could be potential damage in my axel as well. Really disappointed that the mechanics here couldn't diagnose such a critical issue in my car. read more

I brought my car here because it was close to my house. My car was not starting so I brought it here. They said that I needed a new battery. Okay. I left it overnight and paid $600. The next day my car would not start. I paid $60 to jump it and brought it in again. They said that my alternator needed to be replaced. Another $800. Next day. My car would not start. I was so upset. I paid to get it jumped again and brought it in. They said that they would analyze the situation. They called me again and said that they figured it out! It was a fuse issue. I paid $300 and was relieved when I got home. Next day car did not start. I called them to complain but they had no answers for me. DON'T BE A FOOL like me and trust these guys. I bought lifetime alignment for my car a while ago... and I've been paying for it since. Every time I seem to go in to have the tires rotated and aligned it's a crappy experience. This store fails miserably at providing anything resembling an accurate estimate. I make an appointment, they say it's going to take an hour. I come back in an hour and a half, it's still not done, and I have to wait another hour. Of course they find time to check everything on my car to try to sell me more services... but they can't get done what I request to have done on time. This isn't just one visit. My check engine light was blinking and the code read cylinder 5 misfire. Literally all they needed to do was change the spark plug for me. They wanted to charge me over $1,200 for that and said if it were me I'd just drive it how it is until it dies on you and get something else.. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!! Worst car service experience of my life. The customer service here is horrible. I had to call them to get any information on my car the team is not proactive and does not take the initiative to contact you regarding the status of your vehicle. I brought my car in on 12/1 and they weren't able to diagnose anything until 12/9. My vehicle was not even touched for 2 days, then got the runaround on what needs to be repaired. They said they completed repairs on my vehicle but they tore it apart and did not complete the alignment, tire rotation. They suggested a new radiator cap and let me know the reservoir was empty and returned my car with zero coolant. They suggested a lot of work on my power steering and front end and still returned my car with zero power steering fluid when I stated I wanted to get a second opinion. The mechanics are so rude on the phone, Tim is horrible and talks down to you, ityou hear Firestone this is Tim hang up unless you want to be yelled at. These people use fear tactics. If your repair is over 1k get a second opinion. This place is horrible and all people need to stay away. Update: I am driving down the road today and my battery light comes on. My original reason for bringing in my car was because I was fairly certain I needed an alternator. The service team here at this location told me all I needed was a new battery and a laundry list of a bunch of items that weren't part of the initial issue. I made an appointment and took my car in to have a pre-sale inspection. I'm not sure what the point of the appointment was since it took all day. They told me I needed to have front brakes, rotors, and calipers, a job I had just had done 6 months earlier. When I declined to have them do the service they were shocked and acted as though I was committing suicide. I took the car back to the shop that had done the work originally, where they put the car on the lift, removed the tires and then brought me out to show me the condition of the brakes, rotors, and calipers, which were in like new condition. I scheduled for a tire rotation and was quoted $20. I dropped the car off and was told the service was going to be less than an hour. I kept seeing my car in the garage bay with the hood open and the wheels still off. After just about begging to get my car wrapped up I found out they were doing a multi point inspection too. The tire rotation / multi point inspection is only $10. I never asked for the multi point inspection and wouldn't have had any service done that they recopmmened. They are just looking for other services they can do and charge for. My time and frustration is worth more than $10 I saved and didn't ask for. I have been a customer of Firestone in New Mexico for years.. I love how you can get everything done and usually good deals for oil change and tire rotation ad well as all over car checks. As usual I made a appointment.. Oil change tire rotation fall check up and back reverse light fixed for $72 after tax. They are upfront with quotes and never had a surprise.. I thought I might need new tires and they told me no my tires are fine.. Any shady repair place would have told me I needed new tires in my opinion, I was ready to buy as I figured at 35k and lots of recent activity .. He suggested chains if I am worried about going over the pass.... They don't sell studded tires and don't recommend for some reason I waited in the lobby.. Yes the smell of tires was a little much but I got used to it, maybe even felt a little high.. .. Was in and out in a hour.. As always a good place for a single lady like me.. Poor communication and management. The only reason I booked at firestone is because I believed this was a large company boasting about their honesty and professionalism. This was my first time and will be my last. I scheduled an appointment for wheel alignment through the online service portal for 2PM slot. Got a call from the firestone service center mentioning that they are running a little late and that there might be an hour or two delay but I can expect my car by 5pm. I sure can't stay 3 hours in the shop. So, I borrowed my friends car and dropped the car around 2pm. They told me, it might take till 6pm now and they will call me when its done. I was happy that I at least borrowed my friends car. There was no call and when I went in at 6pm to the store, my car is in the exact spot where I left it. They never touched it and said that they can do the job tomorrow morning. The online portal, the guy on call and person in store, everyone assured me that the job will be done today. I just wasted 4 hours of my time and driving their twice along with my friend because these guys don't know when to stop taking in more service requests or how to handle multiple requests. They should have either let me know before hand that they might not be able to complete the job today and I would have avoided all this and scheduled an appointment for tomorrow or some other weekday. read more

Excellent quality work! I made an appointment a few months ago to have my regular tires swapped with snow tires. They have these windows so you can watch you car being worked on. They did the work in a very high quality fashion, such as not slamming the wheels on the floor, carefully measuring the width of the wheel when programming the balancing machine, inspecting the tires, and hand torquing the wheels so that they are not too loose and not too tight. I also saw them check stuff, like brake pad thickness and adding a little windshield washer fluid for free even though I didn't ask for an inspection. They also advised me to check the wheels after 100 miles, which I knew already but reflects they are detailed oriented. The cost of mounting and balancing the tires were competitive, not highway robbery. (I called one Les Schwab branch and they wanted way too much. The place that I used to go to is now too far away so I called this Firestone) read more

Don't go here if you're a woman. I went in for an oil change, that they said would be 30 minutes. After an hour and a half of waiting, they charged me $70! I was in a rush to leave, because of how long they took I didn't have time to deal with the up charge then. They knew I needed to leave, and when I asked them after an hour of waiting they said it would be 5 more minutes, so I asked after 10 more minutes had passed, and they said my car was done but had 3 nails in my tire. I told them to stop working on my car and I needed to leave. My car does not have any nails in any tires. They said the up charge was because I needed different oil for older cars, even though I requested a standard oil change. read more
