I had my transmission replaced here. They quoted me accurately and were kind and informative throughout the process. My car is running well and I feel good about coming back for more work in the future. read more

I sent my car for a fuel pump fuse or relay damage and once the car was working the owner of the shop MAURICIO CANJURA drove and abused my 1994 toyota supra to the point that he hurt the engine, tires and the clutch system. When I ask him why my car was throwing white smoke from the muffler, he denied it all but in latter months after I finished the engine repair that cost me around $35,000 dollars; I found a video where he was abusing my car making explosion and popping from the engine. Note. I never gave permission for him to test drive my car. I won't recommend this shop for anyone with common sense of how car is taking care of. Up to today June 2026 he is denied his responsibility even that I have video where he abused my car. read more

Very friendly and great service. I came here for a last minute oil change and will be back.

Taskar is great! Quick, friendly, competent, reasonably-priced and they have worked hard to squeeze me in each time I've called. Most recently I had my car towed there on a weekend, and they had a new radiator in and ready to go by Monday evening. Highly recommend! read more

Horrible experience. I had an appointment, but it still took them two hours just for an oil change. Worst of all, they scratched the hood of my brand-new car. They clearly don't respect your time or your property. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. read more

Mauricio and the guys at Taskar do great work for very reasonable prices. I started using them when I had a bad Hemi in a Ram 1500 that I wanted to replace with a crate engine. They were one of the only local shops that would do work like this, but they did it for a good price and guarantee their work. My good old Ram drives like a dream....the engine seems stronger than new. Couldn't recommend Taskar more strongly.....they do all my auto work, now..... even though they are not located very near where I live. Try them.....you won't be sorry. Plus, they are great guys who will do anything to keep you happy. read more

I know they do work on the engine and transmission, but I had a window that would not roll up all the way. They said just being it in, and so I did, and they said here's the problem, the window came off the track, they said they coud fix it right then, or come back tomorrow. So they fixed it right away, and for a good price. Wonderful! They have a new customer! read more

Quick and friendly service. Very reasonable prices. I've had brake work and A/C services done at this shop, and would recommend them to anyone. read more

This place still has the best service around. I vowed to never go back to the dealership after Mauricio and his team replaced my transmission last year (and charging thousands and thousands less than that dealership). Today it was just a 80k maintenance service, but they definitely did a great job, and didn't nickel and dime me for checking things out--which is always greatly appreciated. Great service and staff all around. read more

Highly recommend, these guys are awesome. New to the area and was in need of a new local shop, had some noise coming from my front end and luckily found these guys. They got me in fast, diagnosed the issue, and got the work done in the same day. Sent me videos of what was going on when they sent the quote over, showed me the broken parts after, and walked through the rest of my truck while it was on the lift to let me know how everything was looking. Good work at a fair price, I'll be back! read more

They got me in and out without a reservation on a Monday. Without requesting, they showed me the bad parts and demonstrated that the engine was working well again above and beyond if you ask me. read more

I took my car here for a weird engine noise awhile back an the guy told me that the engine needs some work and it probably would take a long time to fix I told him ill maybe come back later and then he got kinda irritated an rude saying engine issues can't be fixed instantly (and when i was leaving without saying yes the guy seemed to get MORE irritated lol) Well i just went online an the problem ended up being super easy to fix (it was just a squeaking belt) and i actually fixed it myself in like 5 mins lmfao I'm not sure exactly what the guys issue with me was but he basically did me a huge favor by acting like that read more

Best auto repair shop around. Fast, reliable service and good customer service. They are awesome people!

I have had great experiences here, including this last one that I just got back from. They looked at my car immediately, were friendly and helpful, and gave great advice. Mauricio and his team of excellent mechanics provided me with expert service on the spot at a very fair price. I needed replacement taillights which they ordered. Called me 2 days later after the order arrived at their shop, and they asked me to come over for an immediate installation. Was in & out of their garage within 15 minutes which included a complete testing of all exterior lights. Taskar is the best!! read more

I have been taking my cars to Taskar Garage for over 20 years now (I always have high mileage cars it seems). I am a mechancal engineer and know what is wrong with cars and how long it takes to fix items. They have always treated me fairly (quality and cost wise) and do what they say will do, on time and they are the only ones I take my cars to in the area. Probably is as good as it gets in Seattle! Thanks for the years of work Misha and Mauricio. Dana read more

I have brought my car to Taskar Garage for oil changes, inspections, and other minor issues. They've been able to get me in same day or within the week for sure. They work very quickly and the prices were more affordable than anywhere else I've been in Seattle (I've tried 4-5 other places before landing on them). read more

Amazing shop, I had a Transmission replaced it was done in 1 day and the cost was exactly what they quoted me.

We continue to get great service from Taskar! They are very friendly, helpful, efficient, caring and affordable. Highly recommend!

This guys are by FAR the most honest mechanics I've ever worked with. They will tell you what you actually need rather than trying to take advantage. Really an ethical business and I really appreciate those kind of business ethics. read more

Took my car here awhile back, and the guy told me that i for sure needed a new tensioner pulley So i ordered one online and had them (taskar) install it (for like 70 bucks labor) I later found out that that my original one was completely fine Smh totally wasted 90 bucks read more

2014 Toyota rav4 needed new rear brake rotors and pads. They charged a fair price and acquired parts. Fixed in 4 hours

I used Misha and Tasker for years and it was always a great experience - honesty and low , fair prices. Today I had a problem with my CRV and went to Tasker . New Owners and they are carrying on Misha's tradition . Trust these guys - they deserve it . I had what I thought was was a major problem and they put my car up on the lift and found out it was just a piece of bent metal rubbing against the drive shaft .. " How much do I owe you ? " I asked "Nothing" the owner Said Misha would be proud - he had the same spirit . Dealer wanted 175 bucks to diagnose ! read more

This is great place that I've ever experienced in Seattle. I had a suspension issue with clunking sound, and I've been to 3 different mechanic shop to solve this issue. Those 3 shops are also great and reliable places, but they were not able to solve the issue. I'm pretty good and familiar with the understanding of car mechanical parts, so I had some opinion back then. The three shops told me I'm wrong. (FYI I'm driving Hyundai Sonata 2013 and I know a lot of knowledge about this car because my dad also has it as his second car in other country. We share many knowledges about our cars.) Then finally my friend recommended me to go to this place. He's kinda picky person but he STRONGLY recommended Taskar Garage. Mechanic (sorry I forgot his name) took a glance and he said exactly the same thing that I was thinking. I threw some more questions to clarify this but he was very confident about his opinion. One day later, everything was COMPLETELY resolved, and they charged very reasonable price compared to other places. I am also picky too, so I usually don't give a good review easily. Go this place. You'll never regret. read more

A little on the pricey side but the service was exceptional. Cute little sweet family and they seem to really enjoy what they do. Will definitely come back again and highly recommend. They communicate well, are open to drop offs overnight, and they get the job done quick! read more

Great folks in there. Did my timing belt and few other things there. They go above and beyond. They even fixed my bumper, they pulled it out and straitened it. I never asked to do. Thanks folks read more

Bless his heart and soul. Misha is a very good man. It was my first visit to Taskar Garage and I sensed that he doesn't seem to take advantage of people by how open and honest he is. He shows you exactly what happened to your car (by photos) and prices the repairs very decently. He is like your dependable dad or grandpa who speaks kinda loud at you about your car and knows exactly what to do to fix it. He'll take good care of you and won't burn a large hole in your pocket. Thank you Misha! read more

My car is in the shop today because my right rear caliper went out. I used to live in magnolia but now live in Tacoma. I still drive up here because Misha is a very honest man. He never says something is broken if it's not broken. He has worked on all my cars for years now. I won't go anywhere else!! read more

Our alternator failed late at night and I started to research garages nearby. I sent a few different repair places emails and requests for quotes on yelp. Within 10 minutes, I received a response from Taskar. This was at 9pm! Taskar was able to give me a quote and schedule us in for the next morning! There are negatives reviews on here about the customer service and friendliness. When it comes to auto repair I just want a fair price and job well done. Don't come here expecting a warm and fuzzy welcome, but expect your car to be fixed. read more

Thank you Taskar Garage for your help. They very friendly people and very helpful. I got some issue in my car and they fixed all problems. Highly recommend read more

I live in the neighborhood close to Taskar Garage. On more than one occasion, I have taken my car into the shop without an appointment and received immediate assistance. In one instance, my battery was dead and I could not even put the car in neutral to push it out of my driveway for a jump start. Taskar loaded up a mobile battery drove me home and got my car going. Refusing to take any money!. The service, friendliness and integrity cannot be matched. read more

The customer service at the place is repulsive. I've never in my entire life had a business owner speak to me the way this man has. I missed one phone call, ONE and he yelled at me about how he's "called all day" for me to pick up my car. I apologized even tho the kind women I spoke to earlier took my cell phone number down? I never received a call. I'll admit, the problem with the car (wiring) was fixed, my car has been giving me a lot of problems lately. However my check engine light is still on? On the phone we made SURE everything was fixed. "Everything" as in...something as simple as reading a code and turning it off? Welp, I called and guess who immediately started yelling at me? :) Apparently checking for things such as a maintenance light or check engine light only comes with an oil change? Lol wow. Shady. You'd think they'd want to go above and beyond to make sure everything works properly before sending it off..I guess on the phone he says "you want me to work on wiring problem. I do that." Thank you sir, never ONCE did I disregard the work he did on my car. Never once did I say you didn't know what you were doing! But if I'm paying a professional shop to look at my car I'd hope they could at LEAST turn it on and see there's a multiple codes going off?? The issue itself really isn't a big deal at this point. My car starts again and I'm happy with that. He told me I could drive all the way back for them to turn it off, nah. This mans literally not capable of having an adult conversation without getting angry. Final thoughts; I'm not undermining this man as a mechanic at all. However, It is very clear they do not see the importance of respect & communication to their paying customers. I was totally prepared to write a good review but this ruined my whole experience. What a shame. read more

BEST MECHANIC EVER!!! All the time was looking for good mechanic, who would not charge me as my car costs and I finally found him. He was working on my work car - Dodge Grand Caravan 2012, and I was surprised for the quote what I got. I think you'll never find better pricing and quality and the service in the city. Misha is great in communication. The alternator died in Dodge and I had to work the next day. So, he fixed it in the same day when I called. I'm so thankful him for it. The team also is great. They are doing almost all the services, what are possible (from oil and filter changes to engine and transmission swaps) If somebody is interested in rebuilding transmission or engine, they have the company with which they are working for 10 years. And as Misha said they do also good priced (rebuilding transmissions around 2000$ with 3 year warranty) and qualifying services. Highly recommend Taskar Garage!!! Definitely will come back there to fix my other cars read more
