They were able to get my truck in & out same day with a full rear overhaul for about a quarter of the cost at the dealer! They even swapped windshield wipers and filled my fluid for me. The overall experience was amazing! I work around the corner from this shop so I stopped by (barely ) to get a quote and the front and back cost was less than the estimate my hubby got from Les Swab for front brakes only by $100. However when I dropped my GMC on Friday the nice guy said "have you had an assessment?" Which I replied no but I'm sure I need both. Our car has the battery light on for days. We checked the voltage and it seemed to be problem with alternator. We called D&D about it and, to our surprise, Tom told us that we can drop by immediately and have the alternator replaced. On our way to their shop, the light somehow went off for good. Once we arrived the shop, Tom said they will check it out. After a while, Tom called and said that our alternator seems to be good and didn't charge us anything for the checkup. Larry and his team are a complete magical mystery to me. I am an that did all breaks for two daughters and there fatherless friends. Just believe it. If you give these guys just one chance you will never go any where else for your break. If they tell you to come in every 6 months for an inspection just d o it. I have a 30+ old buick that many shops refused to work on -- D&D did a great job replacing basically everything after the hardline hosing despite the system being asymmetrical. Efficient as always, and budget conscious. Yelp saved again, both in my pocket and time wasted. Recently I had a 120k miles services done at a shop and they "strongly" recommended the brakes to be replaced, since quoted "the car is dangerous to operate with the brakes I have now" and quoted $700+ price for front brakes. I felt the brakes was working perfectly and the quoted price was absurd anyway, therefore I turned down the suggestion. While waiting to pick up the car, I quickly yelped brake shops and found D&D Brakes with all 5 star reviews. That's something you don't see often. I stopped by D&D and after a quick inspection, the mechanic told me that the brakes are still good, I don't need to replace them maybe for another 6+ months. Now that's refreshing to hear someone gives an honest opinion even though it's against his best interest. Fast forward 7 months and the brakes still works fine, but I started to feel a bit of shaking during a trip coming down the mountain. I made an appointment with the shop and they scheduled me right in. For brand new brake pads and rotors, the price is $360 plus tax. Honest and fair is right. I wish this shop does something more than brakes, but you can bet from now on, this place would take care of ALL my brakes. A side note, you would want to bring your debt card for the transaction. Tom was nice enough to waive the 3% fee for using a credit card for me, which I felt sorry that the shop had to eat the fee. read more

A community Facebook page suggested I come here for replacing brake pads. It was a great experience! As a women, it's hard going to any garage without feeling like I'll get taken advantage of. Everything was straight to the point and best of all, honest! Prices are reasonable and service was great. While waiting, they made a small correction on another vehicle that had been serviced at a different garage free of charge. I thought that was pretty stand up. Was able to get me in with a couple hours notice. Went to the front desk and waited a good amount of time before another person showed up to greet me. I needed new rotors, and they were able to get them swapped out faster than the quoted time. The price was fair. Not over-priced, but certainly not a steal.
