Went in to Midas for a brake inspection , victor explained to me that my brakes were in dying need of a replacement . Took my vehicle to Firestone to get a further inspection and come to find out, my brakes were okay. Kinda odd with the service provided at Midas with the information provided regarding my vehicle . I will no longer be heading to Midas for any inspection . I will also be contacting the Bureau of automotive repair , and the better business bureau. Shame on you. read more

Been here multiple times for to get my oil changed and it's always a positive experience. I usually get my tires changed at Discount Tire, but I was kind of in a crunch for time. Victor was able to get me four new tires swapped and balanced within around an hour. Also, had my oil changed in that time as well. They gave me the price up front and it was a fair deal for sure. Every time I get my old cars fixed these guys are fast and honest...always friendly. They have replaced headlights and fixed minor repairs for free and only charged me for big fixes in the past. Great service, $100 for oil & filter change+ tire rotation. Wait time is long ( my appointment was at 11:30am, finished at 1pm).

Very responsive and helpful! I have an electric car and initially just went in for a tire alignment, which they were quite helpful with. Then a few weeks later I discovered we had rats chewing up the car (augh!) and they inspected the car twice on short notice for no charge and gave me peace of mind that the damage was just cosmetic. All staff have been very professional and attentive - I'd highly recommend them. read more

Wow I can not say enough good things about this place and the owner specifically. He is the kindest man who treats you like family and makes sure you are taken care of. I just moved to the area and got so lucky finding him as a mechanic. He has fair pricing and does good work. He has helped me out of a bind now on multiple occasions, and as a woman, has never made me feel uncomfortable or like I am being taken advantage of, which is something I have often felt at other mechanics. Let me start this review by saying that I DO NOT DO YELP REVIEWS EVER. I check Yelp constantly to see reviews but I never submit them myself. But Midas and Fadi, absolutely deserve it. My boyfriend and I are absolutely blown away with how amazing the service is here. Last week, the engine light came on in our Mercedes. Right after the light turned on, the vehicle was not driving well and it felt unsafe to drive. I went to Firestone first because I am unfamiliar with auto shops in the area. They were horrible and an absolute waste of time. I did a Google search of auto shops nearby and Midas was the closest one. It was late in the day and close to closing time but I called anyways. Despite it being close to closing time, Fadi told me to come in so he could test the car but told me ahead of time he would not have German parts in until the following morning. When I showed up to Midas, the check engine light was no longer on but the car was still driving poorly. Fadi barely had to look at the vehicle to know exactly what was wrong with it, which turned out to be an engine misfire and we needed parts replaced. Fadi ordered the parts that night and had them in the following morning. My boyfriend brought in the car and Fadi and his crew had it fixed up in no time for a cheaper price than any other auto shop would have been. The car has been driving perfectly ever since and we have had no issues with it. This week, our 4Runner decided to have battery issues and who knows what else. Because when it rains, it pours. It would need a jump start every time I went to start it and it would jerk forward as we were driving. Again, it is late in the day because of my work schedule and Fadi said for me to bring it in. When I got to the shop, Fadi remembered my name, my boyfriend's name who brought in the Mercedes, and asked how the Mercedes was doing. Which as I said before, it runs perfectly now. Fadi and his crew did a quick check on the 4Runner. Turns out the battery just came loose and was not connecting properly. They secured it, changed a cable, and it is good as new and drives perfectly yet again. FREE OF CHARGE. I cannot rave enough about Fadi and his crew enough. He is so personable and you can tell he really cares about helping his customers, not financially burdening them. He is incredibly knowledgeable and I really believe he can fix anything. I will forever be a customer of Fadi. If you need any help with your vehicle, his shop is where you NEED to go. Thank you Fadi, the crew, and Midas. You guys are amazing!!! read more

Very impressed with Midas Poway. The store manager (Fadi Saadeh) was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He addressed my brake problems and he noticed that my tires were in great need to be replaced. I stressed to him that I realized it, too. However, my concerns were the brakes. He presented a choice of tires, but I firmly declined the offer. Yet, he did not pressured me, but he was concerned about my safety. I deeply appreciated his warm gestures. Watch out for Midas on Poway Rd. They overfilled my oil (and put in the wrong kind possibly, two different kinds listed on the paperwork) and caused my car to fail. Had to have it towed to the dealership. Midas said to the dealership they would pay for the repairs and said it to me as well. Then hours later, work already done by jeep, Midas called and backed out of the payment. Leaving me with all the cost. It's even written in the paperwork from Jeep that they backed out after approving the work. It's costing me hundreds now and Midas giving me the run around. Had to call corporate. They tried to tell me not to call corporate or he would process it slower. Things to know!!!! read more

It was veteran's day weekend and it was impossible getting my flat taken care of because all the tire shops had an extremely long wait due to a Veterans Day sale. Luckily, I went to Midas and they were able to help me and get my tire repaired in less than an hour. I am so grateful for the help that I received there along with the excellent customer service. Mr. Fadi, who is the boss of the place, is by far overall the kindest, caring, and genuine human being overall. Myself and my whole family included have been coming to this Midas in Poway for as long as I can remember. My dad would sometimes take me with him anytime he needed to get something with his car done and I just remember being happy to be there because of the environment and such welcoming energy that Fadi always provides, regardless of who his customers are. I went in just yesterday to get an oil change on my car and I had called in advance to see if I could come in and Fadi was able to let me come in that same day within an hour after I called. He accommodated to everyone's requests and does every single thing he can just to make sure I am happy with every visit I make. Not only does he value his customers, but he also cares about the service that is done on each car as well. His employees are all very kind as well and they make sure to do everything Fadi asks of them without any questions asked. You can tell that he cares about everyone from the second you step into his shop. He gives you a warm smile that welcomes you in and lets you know that you will be taken care of. I brought my car in for "non obligated free break inspection" which he made it clear on the phone and once I was in the store . Upon the inspection the mechanic let me know I needed new tires and that they were really bad (which I knew and had already purchased them) I let the mechanic know and he offered to atleast put the spare as I wanted to atleast get my tires and do the whole job together. How the mechanic was so nice my boyfriend was saying how he was going to leave his car for an oil change. But to our surprise when the mechanic went to go tell the owner he yelled " not in my system, not my problem " and gladly brought my car out with a big old smile. If that's how you treat potential customers I really don't want to know what kind of service they really provide. So off we went to search for better service somewhere else ! read more

Okay so let me start by saying that I never review places. Good or bad, I love to give people the benefit of the doubt, maybe they had a bad day. I was so untrusting of this place but man I was wrong. Fadi was one of the most interesting and the nicest humans I have ever met. He is not concerned about anything else except your safety. He wants you to come back. He doesn't care about the money, and when something costs a lot he will do EVERYTHING in this power to lower it for you.
