We have 4 boys in our family who all drive, which means we've had more than our fair share of tire repairs over the years -- and this Firestone team has been great every single time. Honestly, it's hard to count how many times they've helped us out. Just last weekend, we got a flat tire after fishing at Lake Poway. We had the car towed in late in the evening, and it was ready for pickup the next morning. We trust these guys. They do great work and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. Highly recommend! read more

I had such a great experience at Firestone! Gill especially went above and beyond to help me and my mom. He took the time to explain what was wrong with my car and made sure I actually understood everything that needed to be done. He was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. They installed my part without making the situation stressful or complicated. I really appreciate how honest, welcoming, and respectful Gill was toward me and my mom. He made what could have been a stressful car situation feel so much easier. It's clear that he genuinely cares about helping people and making sure the job is done correct. Great value and great service! read more

Ramon saved the day! He was quick to help and was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He provided quality service that included a follow up visit that he also attended to. I valued his efforts and he is a great asset to the customer service at the Rancho Bernardo location. Ramon, thank you. You were there when I needed you most! read more

Ryan and team here have done another 5 star job on my son's car 1985 Firebird. I spent 2 long nights trying DIY youtube videos to trouble shoot a sputtering issue. The Firestone team found the problem and repaired in and out in just an afternoon. The car growls like it did back in the 80's and 90's! These guys continue to be my trusted agents when it comes to getting the job done on all fam's cars. Don't hesitate here, they know what they're doing, and they won't make you do silly repairs if they are not warranted. Highest recommendtion!! read more

Took our rental van in because there was a slow leak in one of the rear tires. Within two minutes, they had our tire pumped back up and ready to go! And free of charge Appreciate the assistance! read more

I've been coming to this Firestone location for years, as has my family. The staff has always been helpful and kind, and I've never had issues anyone there--until now. A couple of days ago, I called to ask about my tires. The gentleman who answered did not identify himself, which is unusual since basic customer service is to greet and introduce yourself. I explained my situation, and he gave a long explanation about my vehicle -- information I already knew, but I let him finish. I wasn't satisfied with the answer, so I called back today and asked to speak with the manager. That's when I learned that Gil was actually the manager. Right away, he launched into the same explanation the foreman had given me. Each time I tried to speak, he interrupted and talked over me. I stayed quiet so he could finish, then calmly explained that my tires should still be under warranty. I'm a loyal customer and have been coming here for years, yet he showed zero interest in helping me. Instead, he continued speaking over me and dismissing everything I said. I became so overwhelmed that I hung up. I called back after collecting myself and told him he had been rude. I told him that I hoped his daughters -- if he has any -- would never be spoken to the way he spoke to me. I said I would file a complaint and leave a review so other young women would know what to expect. He denied everything and said all calls are recorded. Funny enough, during the second call, he stayed silent -- then claimed he was doing so to "let me talk." He suddenly said, "I would fight for you and get the best deal possible." But he never mentioned that during the first call, which tells me he was backtracking. This interaction left me feeling emotionally drained and disrespected. Bad days happen -- but speaking to customers, especially young women, in such a condescending, dismissive way is unacceptable. I am shocked that Firestone allows someone who communicates like this to manage a location. I will not be returning. This was genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I left the call in tears. Something feels extremely off about the way this place is being run. **Gil, if you're reading this, I hope you take this feedback seriously. You sounded extremely frustrated on the phone, and the way you spoke to me was unprofessional.** read more

Very poor customer service. Called 2x but only to say no time to talk to you. Never got a call back. That's the customer service. read more

I had a tire very quickly going flat on the 15 and was fortunate to have coincidentally exited right where this Firestone was off the freeway. By the time I arrived, my tire was completely flat. I don't remember the name of the nice young man who helped me, but he wears glasses and was at the inside counter that day. He saw how frazzled I was with my kids and dog in the car and let me know the wait was 45 minutes to figure out what was going on with my tire or he could quickly change my flat so I could get my kids to school. He saved the day and gave me guidance about how and where to quickly get the hard to find tire replaced once I was able to do that. I am so grateful to this nice young man and the outstanding service he provided. I will be back to visit this Firestone for future tire needs and recommend them because of this experience. read more

So we have been going to this Firestone location for over 10 years and they have always done a really good job. There was also a time where my Nissan Altima went to the dealership in Escondido and they recommended over $7000 worth of repairs. We then took it to Firestone and found out that I only needed like maybe $1000 worth of repairs. I highly recommend this business however here recently, my sunvisor is in my car are broken and I went into the store and one of the workers said I just need to get you a quote and then I'll call you back. I waited two weeks and never got a call back with a quote. Then I called and I was told by another person that works there that they would call me back within 24 hours with a quote and that never happened. So I went in today and asked for the manager of the shop and I guess he was not there so I talked to another employee who said he will call me back tomorrow by noon with a quote and if they actually can help me or if I need to go to the dealership to get it fixed. I will update you with what happens. read more

Remarkable customer service given to a non-customer. My motorcycle trailer tire went flat. Took it in to be patched. Turned out it was a valve core problem. They replaced it and sent me on my way - no charge! Pretty rare. They'll be first place I call at tire time. read more

These guys were great! They helped me with my engine coolant issue and Omar was so nice and helpful. Good people!

Gil is the man! I came in with a tire that needed to be patched and bolts that were striped and they had me in and out of there so quick! I am so grateful for everyone there and how attentive they are to customers. I'll be coming back for new tires and will tell everyone about my experience. Thanks Gil! read more

Omar was great and helpful. I needed to get my radiator fluid checked and he filled it up at no cost. It was a great experience.

I was in desperation mode because I had a coolant top fall out of my car and draining as I pulled into any car related shop I could find. Firestone, specifically a great man named Gil, did not turn me away and helped me immediately with my situation and showed me what I needed and took care of it. I live in Ramona and wouldn't have made it back home without his help. I will be forever grateful. Thank you Gil. read more

I was treated like gold here! Abrahm is so incredibly kind and professional. My 10 year old son was so impressed by how humble everyone is who works here. The employees are outstanding and every single corporation on the planet including all car dealerships should take notes from the kind men working here! My son said, "They probably don't get paid as much as people selling expensive cars but they are kind and humble and that is what matters MOST. God will be blessing this business because these men know how to treat a mother with a young child with respect and kindness. A read more

Ryan and Omar took good care of me today with an oil change and alignment. I'd recommend checking them out.

I had a great experience here today. I've brought my car in several times to have tire repair done and they've always been honest and done the repair with no issue. Today I brought my daughters car in for a slow leak and when they told me that the tire was shot I believed them since they've never told me that before. They showed me the inside of the tire And explained that it was caused by the alignment. They gave me a fair price on a new set of tires and they even had Ryan drive me home. He was kind and courteous. Mike the manager did a great job getting me the tires I wanted at a price point I was comfortable with. Would definitely recommend this location read more

I brought my work car into FireStone for an oil change and tire rotation and received quality service from Armando and Ryan. Ryan provided excellent customer service, helping to set up my appointment quickly and efficiently. The service was friendly and professional, and they completed the oil change in just an hour. Great service, fast with high quality'. Highly recommended compared to the Firestone across the street. I actually had an appointment with the Firestone at 16556 Bernardo Center drive. They were going to charge me more because they said Tesla was harder to perform wheel alignment and even though the app showed availability Jay insisted that. they didn't have any. I asked if they will honor the online quote and Jay said they could not because Tesla wheels are "harder to work on". Obviously that was not the case since the Firestone in 16646 did everything right. Thank you!!!! I guess I have a new go to place for my car needs and I also know which place to avoid :) read more

Armando always provides top notch customer service, answers all my questions and and gets my cars taken care of quickly. He's taken time to explain my tire options to me on a couple of occasions and gone the extra mile in laying out the pros and cons of each tire, which I appreciate. My cars are always treated with the utmost care. If you're looking for an honest place to get your tires, go here and ask for Armando. read more

Half of the bumper guard on my car kept coming off and I kept snapping it back on. Finally today I pulled it off, coincidentally the last remaining screw held on for dear life. I went in to Firestone and Omar was willing to help me secure it at no charge. Thank you so much! Christine Coronado read more

Let's first start off by saying that Ryan, the Sales and Service Specialist, is there for a good reason: highly communicative and professionally engaging about the service process and meeting the needs of customers. It's obvious observing in the waiting area how he cultivates a relationship that builds trust with repeat customers. That alone is half the worthwhile experience for anyone looking to have their car serviced. As for the other half, Ryan immediately knew what I was looking for and he located the part to be ordered. It took only a day in the Firestone's supply-chain network. Once the ordered part was delivered, the technician swiftly serviced my car. No hassle but a well-oiled auto-service experience with an accommodating human touch. read more

Left my car there all day long after coming in on an appointment. Only thing required was to rotate the tires. It was there eight hours and they didn't get anything done. Told me I'd have to leave it overnight. read more

An F rating with the BBB I wonder why? Charging Senior Citizens $114.00 for a Synthetic oil chang. The Manager Mike told me sometimes they charge more. About a year ago I had the same oil change done for about $60.00 or so. They did a terrible job on my tire rotation. Under inflating my tires by almost 3 psi. They left my car outside overnight when all there bays were empty. Bad service I am never going back. I am terminating my Firestone credit card. Worst place ever. I am putting a complaint with the California Bureau of Automobile Repair. Already put complaints with the BBB and FTC. read more

My wife had a slow leaking rear tire. I called ahead to make an appointment - got one within the hour. When I arrived they wiped down the surfaces, pens, etc. in front of me (COVID-19 precautions) and took the car in. The tire was fixed within the hour - $21 - what a deal. I was so pleased with the service and the staff. Super friendly under the stressful conditions working with public. Thank you so much! read more

Excellent and over the top customer service! Employees are polite and attentive. Took me in right away, and quick service. Highly recommend!

This place completely and totally took advantage of my daughter who went in for a loud noise the breaks were making. They told her it was something wrong with the steering and suspension. They charged her over $1,000. After all that the car still makes the same noise. They then told her that the noise was caused by a mistake made by the mechanic who fixed her breaks. That she should take her car Back to that shop. This is just horrible. All we can tell you is stay away from this place. They will mislead you, they will charge you a lot of money and they will not fix whatever is wrong with the car. Again stay away! Horrible, horrible experience!! read more

These guys are the goats, got me on my way in less than 15 minutes! Id trust them with my life and all 6 of my kids!

Had a flat and they were very receptive of my needs, Great service! Their manager was particularly helpful.

This shop is fantastic and I can't say enough great things about them. I used to go to the Mira Mesa location, it didn't matter that I had to drive 20 minutes past countless other shops, they always treated me well. When they closed the Mira Mesa location, I decided to try out this Firestone, not expecting it to be as good as Mira Mesa. I have been beyond impressed with them! They have always been honest with me, they never once tried to upsell me, talk down to me or recommend repairs that weren't needed. When I have told them that I can't afford a certain repair, they have been straight with me on how urgently the repair is needed. Jude was the manager when I started going to this location. He and I would swap stories about our families, our kids and he made it feel like a small, family company. He was truly delightful and I was very sad when he left. Ryan is now the main person I interact with and has been a wonderful replacement for Jude. He has always been kind, professional and honest. He tells me that he tries to treat people the way he would want to be treated and it shows. The little things the staff at this shop shows that they truly care about their customers. The mechanics have all been wonderful as well, they are pleasant, easy to interact with and do an excellent job. I would highly recommend this Firestone to anybody who asks! read more

Do not go here! Manager Gil is dishonest and only wants your money. Asks customers to leave 5 star reviews to save face. I wouldn't trust him with something as simple as an oil change. Avoid this location at all costs! read more

Ladies beware! Stay far away from this predatory business. I was quoted almost $900 for "the cheapest" tires on my little car. Then when my husband came in and said he thought that was too high the employee I had spoken to LIED and said that he quoted me a cheaper price, but I wanted to upgrade because I "have kids and was worried about safety". This conversation never happened, he saw car seats in the car and fabricated a conversation. Wow. When my husband calmly asked why the price was so high the employee and one of their family members got aggressive! This place is so unprofessional and not trustworthy. Go to Discount Tire in Poway. I called them and they got me tires for half the price and were friendly and professional. read more

Updating my review just to reiterate what great service they offer. Super huge thanks to Gill and Omar for such great customer service

Went in for an Alignment check. Made appointment and was confirmed for the 9 am slot. Went in around 8.45 am. Store was open. Armando received me and told me that it is a 3 hr wait as there were 2 cars ahead. I believe the appointment system is broken. A company like Firestone needs to invest in technology that is somewhat accurate especially with so many stores. But they turned around in slightly more than 2 hrs. Armando was great and their customer service is good. I will use them again. read more
