I arrived the he location hoping for a quick oil change at 9:26 am and the store opens at 8 am, not a soul in sight nor was the phone being answered when I tried to get a hold of management to seek help. I waited for about 10 minutes before leaving to find a different place to do the job but as I began to drive away only then was an employee leaving his car and beginning his day. He allowed me to walk in, wait and leave all without being assisted and didn't even try to hurry over as I left. I was having an issue with a light and the guys from O'Reillys sent me there as they sold me something that was supposed to remove the opacity of the plastic but it did not. So they suggested me to go and check with Jiffy Lube. Went there just to ask but I was quickly serviced, issue fixed, good pricing and on top got my tired checked and paid directly from my car, so was like in and out super fast. When the Jiffy Lube first opened in Ramona I was one of their first customers. I came in for an oil change and ended coming back for new spark plugs and other slightly expensive engine work. Last month I had an oil change and some other recommended work. I really enjoy their lovely cool waiting room with a tv with lots of channels. We'll... that's when everything good stopped. My husband and I came in for an oil change in his car. We were told that they were short handed and they couldn't take us. Not even an offer to wait. Today I came in for an oil top off and a radiator check. I got the same treatment. I was told his mechanic was busy with a project. Also no offer to wait. I'm not usually a complainer, but this treatment really bothered me. You would think that a first-come-first-serve business would make sure their regulars are taken care of. Recently when I been doing my oil changes here, Tammy, Mike S and the rest of the time have been my most recent staff I encounter here. I come here very simply for a oil change and on the plus side, get some vacuuming in. Normally I don't make an appointment and just ensure to come earlier on weekends. On the most recent visit, I was lucky with coming around 9AM on a Saturday and encountering zero line at all. I was done in like 10-15 minutes. Very fast service. I had a very bad experience with this same location probably about ten years ago; however, decided to give it another go since I recently moved back to the area. I always do my oil changes in my truck; however, my wife's car has too much plastic and the engine is mounted sideways when it obviously should be pointed front to rear. Anyways, I brought her car here today since she was going on a business trip the next day. There was no wait, the staff was very expedient, professional and didn't try pressuring me into any new muffler bearings, or blinker fluid. Something else that seems silly, but I find to be a nice addition to a waiting room is that the coffee in their lobby was still hot at 17:00. All around a good visit especially since I was in a hurry. I'll continue to do my truck, but will continue to visit here for my wife's car and when I'm in a hurry. Thanks Poway Jiffy Lube! I stopped into your store at 13409 Poway Rd, Poway, CA 92064 today. The guys running the lube bays would not come out or even wave me into the open bay. They just sat there staring at me. After about 10 mins I asked if I should drive in? They said they had been waving me in and we're very rude. Once I drive in they were again rude in saying keeping coming forward and acted like I was unable to drive forward, shaking their heads! Finally I told them never mind on the service and drove off. I had to wait a little longer during my oil change last week that was ok because Mike and Larry did a great service both guys were under a lot of pressure with only the two of them working. I can not fault them for that only management needs to step up hire more employees or schedule more or in fact give these two gents a raise. I got an oil change yesterday, first for my Ford Maverick. My husband noticed they put in the wrong oil which is clearly labeled on the oil cap(they used 5W20 instead). We were going to go back to have them put in the correct oil but it was Sunday and they were closed. While replacing it at home he found that the screws holding up the bottom plate were mostly just hand tightened and some were so loose they were about to come off. They used an evacuation process that clearly didn't drain it as you can see in the color of the oil in the pan and bottle in these pictures. I'm new to having a new vehicle so shame on me for not just going to the dealership(old habits) and really I wouldn't have known better if my husband hadn't reviewed the invoice and then found what he did when replacing at home, however, this shouldn't be something a customer should have to worry about double checking. read more

Never again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Complete lack of communication.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lost or stole plate covering my oil filter. It was there last time I had service at trusted mechanic. They claim it was missing before service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm right there in waiting area, why wait to tell me until finished?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Left it a drippy mess. Thankfully stopped dripping after I crawled under car and cleaned off area around filter. Adjusted tire pressure when I specifically ASKED them not to do that. I emphasized that I had just come from tire service. They inflated more than spec but then tried to tell me that the mistake was just on my invoice, and not actually overinflated. Fat-fingering Ryan said. Sloppy either way. Even lost one of the valve caps! Maybe they should have entered info into computer prior to service rather than at end? Did not vacuum or clean exterior windows as advertised. Paid extra for antifreeze and found when I got home that it was 3/4 inches below fill line. Whole thing took way too long and I was not advised of that prior or during. Only 1 person in waiting area. How was I to know there was a fleet of cars around back! read more

They blatantly ripped me off. I went in for a simple oil change. I got full synthetic mixed with high mileage, which came to $80. They told me I needed to pay an extra $22 because my car uses "lots of oil." They said they'd need to use an extra two bottles of it. I was exhausted and in a hurry so I paid, only to realize my mistake later. I've never gotten an oil change that required (two whole bottles!!) extra oil. I even went to jiffy lube before and they didn't do that then. I don't know the name of the lady who charged me, only that she was young with pale skin and dark hair and acne. Let me tell you, I'm never going back here again and I'm telling all my friends and family never to go to Jiffy Lube. I'm going in this week with my receipt to demand a refund (in cash, not store credit!! I'm not going back after all). This is the scummiest place I've gone to for an oil change. Thanks a lot. Larry was absolutely wonderful. It had been a few years since I came to this location as we had temporarily relocated. Came in today at noon for an oil change. No line, pulled right up and was directed to drive into a spot. Mario greeted me right away asking if I had been here before and what I wanted to get done. He asked if I would want a tire rotation done today. Blake got to work right away with the oil change. Mario gave recommendations on which oil to choose, showed me the air filter and asked if I would want it replaced today. Mario and Blake were very prompt and friendly.
