At 8:30 AM, I made an appointment for Noon to have a tire patched. Arrived at 11:30 AM and checked in. At 11:45 they came in to tell me they can patch it but the tread was low and that I needed new tires. I told him I plammed to get them replaced in the next couple weeks. At 1:30PM I asked about my tire and he said they were just getting readdy to start it! So I guess when I said no to new tires, they took the car back down and sent me to the end of the line. When I asked for my car after this 2 hour (15 minute patch), I was told the employee went to lunch! Do yourself a favor and skip this nightmare of a business. I had scheduled an appointment on Monday, 9/16/26, to have a 4 wheel alignment. I waited for my vehicle 2.5 hours. When they said it was done, I got in my 4runner and the sensors were going off. It was apparent that the alignment was not done properly. The store manager tried to make it right by taking it back to the technician who did the alignment and I waited another hour and a half. Then the manager informed me that they could not figure out the sensors and would need to keep it and send it to another shop and possibly to Toyota to figure out the sensor issue. As a gesture of good faith, the manager offered an oil change, which I thought was a nice gesture due to the fact that his technician was not capable of doing a 4 wheel alignment on a 4x4. I go the next day after work to pick it up from the shop. Mind you, they have had the 4runner all day. They were finishing the oil change when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. I leave with my 4runner and I notice the steering is loose while driving to the car wash. I then notice when going down the road the vehicle veers to the right. When I slow down it did the same thing. It was apparent to me that they figured out how to reset the sensors but did not recheck the alignment as well as over looking that it was to have the oil changed. Once they were done with the oil change, the technician just gave me the keys and said I am all good. There was no explanation as to what they did. I called this morning to let them know the issue with the alignment and that I was not going to bring it back but I wanted them to be aware of the service I received so that it can be resolved and that another client wont receive the same poor quality of work. When I explained to the Assistant manager about my issue with my 4 runner and asked him where did they take it to have the sensor issue resolved, he said it did not go anywhere and that it was at the shop all day. I then was frustrated that they had had my vehicle all day, they forgot about the oil change up to the time I was going to pick up my vehicle. So, not only did the store not double check their work regarding the alignment that I paid for, they overlooked the oil change as well until they realized that they needed to do it. I will say that the manager of this store was transparent and wanted to do the right thing, but the technicians have no sense of pride in the quality of work. An example is when I read the sticker for the oil change, the milage was 400 miles more than my actual milage. I will never take my vehicles to this store based on my experience. read more

This review is a month late. I was 10 or so packages into an Amazon Flex block when I developed a slow leak. Luckily, I was in the city. Helped me out when I got a large bolt in my tire on the freeway. They weren't able to repair my tire, but put on a spare on a Sunday so I could go to my tire retailer to use the hazard warranty. Really nice shop and open on Sundays (only tire shop open on Sundays).... gonna have to see if they can get my tires next time I need new ones. read more

we stopped in at 10am to have a brake inspection done. the manager said it "might be 2 hour wait because we have appointments". me and my two toddlers (4 and 6 yrs old) agreed to the wait the two hours. we found things to do close by to help the two hours go by. when we returned we were told it would just be a little bit longer. we were told it would be "a little bit longer over and over. it is now 2:30 and we are still here waiting. i have asked over and over how much longer as they have our vehicle up in the rack so its not as if we can leave, but the mechanic continues to leave our vehicle to work on other vehicles, even other walk ins that have come in for tire repairs. fingers crossed that we make it home before closing time. i get it. it's a free inspection but if i knew it was going to be 4 hours we wouldn't have stayed. we would've gone elsewhere. i would've even paid for this versus wasted our entire day here waiting for "just a little bit longer". how much longer until this is considered a "kidnapping"? read more

I bought a 1992 Ford F-250 XLT truck for the property and needed an alignment. The truck is old, a little beat up but is strong. My steering wheel alignment was off by a lot. My experience with "Michael" was awesome. I called in and told me to be there prior to 1pm. The truck was completed just before closing. Michael told me it was okay to pick it up the next day. I made an appt for Sunday February 23 at noon. I have now been here for 2 hours. I decided to get up and check on the car. As I looked over to check, they were just taking my car to the back to get worked on. No one ever came to tell me that they were running so late. I didn't even get a chance to refuse having to wait any longer. It is now after 2:00 and they just now started to do an oil change that probably should have only taken 45 minutes. This is so disrespectful of my time and they should have told me they were running extremely late. I work in a service industry and understand that stuff happens, but that's when you communicate with the customer and allow them to make an informed decision on whether or not they would like to wait or if they can wait. The car tire of my Nissan Rogue had gone flat on March 27, 2022 (Sunday). Upon searching in the internet for an auto repair shop I found Firestone Complete Auto Care. I managed to get there after struggling to go at low speeds in the main road. I was greeted by a pleasant gentleman - Michael Flemming who is the service manager there. He took care of me, my car and refused to take money for the expedient service he performed on my car. I was good to go in just 10 minutes after meeting him with 0 wait time. I brought a brand new set of wheels tires and lug nuts to Firestone in Poway back in March of 2021 to have them mounted and balanced. The technician scratched my wheel and he was mistakenly torqueing down the beauty caps (which I told them about) on the lug nuts rather than the lug nuts themselves and the seats were hogged out on the wheels. As a result the beauty caps were all mushroomed out and the lug nuts over torqued (see pics) and they installed four wheel locks on one wheel! They gave me a small discount because of their mistakes, so I left thinking everything else was good. This month the tires were completely worn out after only 12k miles, so I had to replace them at Discount tire because I wasn't going back to Firestone. Discount Tire called me to let me know that most of the lug nuts were cross threaded and some of them would have to be sheared/broken off to get the wheels off the car. So, I had no choice, the lugs had to be broken off to replace the tires and some damage was done to the wheels as a result. When I called to complain to Firestone about this they said they made a claim for me, but a week or more later I never heard from the clams dept. After garaging the car for that time because it was not safe to drive (only 4 lug nuts three of the wheels I finally just went down to Firestone and talked to Will the "manager" about these issues. He was immediately confrontational and denied that they caused the damage to the lug nuts and stud, causing the wheels to be damages as well. Basically called me a liar that no one else had worked on the wheels. He filed another claim for me. Then I took my car to another mechanic to replace all the broken/stripped out lug nuts and studs. This morning I was contacted by the claims dept. for Firestone and they told me they are denying any assistance on replacing the broken lug nuts/studs or any wheel repair because the work was done 12k miles ago. Even though the manager said he would help me out with replacing lug nuts and studs. Way to own up to you mistakes Firestone, I will never take my car to any of your stores again, you have completely incompetent staff and your customer service is s**t. I will be bringing this up with the BAR and BBB. I never write reviews but this is the worst experience I have ever had just trying to simply get new tires on my car. Customer service is some of the best. I missed my appointment and when I called they told me I could bring my vehicle in anytime and they would get to it no problem. I elected to just reschedule to the next day but it was awesome they were willing to do that for me. This Firestone shop is dishonest. The manager and the assistant manager are shady. I was told that I needed to replace a part (rocking pinion) before they can align my car. I went to another shop and I got my alignment done without fixing any parts. They also fix my rotor without replacing the whole rotor with a new one. Firestone wanted me too replace the rotors even though I don't need to replace the rotor. Be careful with this people. They will replace parts even though they can still fix it without buying a new one. They are not being honest. read more

I had a giant nail in my tire that had me with very low tire pressure, I was in a rush because I had to get to work. I tried three different locations and customer service was trash and my last stop before giving up was Firestone. Will was so kind and patient, I was standing behind a male Karen who was complaining and I noticed how well Will handled the rude customer. When it was my turn he was so helpful and went out of his way to come check my tire and offered to put air in it since I wasn't able to leave the car there that day. He made an appointment for me first thing in the morning and let me keep my car overnight due to work. He didn't try to take advantage like most car places do and try to sell you a bunch of unnecessary things or tell you things are wrong with your car. We need more guys in the car industry like Will. I usually don't even write reviews but from now on I will always take my car here for anything because I know it's in good hands. Way better service and kindness than discount tires. Found out that the new owners (Firestone) hired the same shysters that worked for Yubella (Express Tire). "The song remains the same, just a different title". I thought under new ownership, the attitude would be different (wrong), went in for a tire quote on a specific brand and size (which I received at Discount Tire & Evans), and never got the quote, they tried to sell me another brand of tire that they carried. They advised me my timing belt needed to be replaced. Read on my warranty realized it was covered so decided to take it in to the dealership. They let me know their was nothing wrong with the timing belt and it would be recommended to change it in about 50,000 miles. Seriously so upset after thinking I had found a honest place. I got a very good price for tires for my truck. Quick work, the tires are very quiet and smooth riding. The next day my air pressure light was on and I took the truck in to have it looked at. It seems that one of the sensors had failed. Amy, the manager, explained to me that this can happen, as the battery in the sensor has a finite life. She graciously offered to replace the sensor free of charge while I waited. I realize she didn't have to do that and I am very appreciative. Her mechanic popped in a new sensor and I was on my way!
