Here's Charlie.

Charlie is a literal asshole. There is more than just my complaint on him and it's unfortunate that he's still employed with the kind of "customer service" he provides. He showed severe ignorance, disrespect, and plain inhumanity. I will never recommend this specific Midas to ANYONE solely based on Charlie. He charged my mother $200 and never even did a diagnostic on her vehicle nor did he explain what the $200 charge was for. He followed my mother and brother out of the store yelling rude/racial slurs, they are black and he is a Caucasian man. He replaced my mothers brand new battery as well as her spark plugs with rigid ones which in result made her car not start. He told her she has to pay $4,962.26 to "dissect" her engine when there was in fact NOTHING wrong with her engine, but her purge valve which has absolutely nothing to do with the engine. Thanks to JIM, she got her issues resolved at a different Midas on Sunset but even then, the way Charlie had my mother crying from his rudeness, we will not be returning here. This service was completely ridiculous and inhumane. I know reviews get read by someone, so Charlie, THATS WHAT WE THOUGHT.

Needed an oil change and stumbled upon Midas as it was near my work. I called ahead and Chadd said to come on in and he would get me right in. And he did! Easy check in and the technician got started right away. I appreciate the explanation of my service and great area inside their waiting room to work while waiting for my service. Great location with restaurants and things to do nearby. They pulled the car right up to me and thanked me for coming in. Great service. Great details. Great team! I will be back again for future services.

I took the car to my regular mechanic and the front rotors were warped. New pads and rotors and they work amazingly well again. ALSO, my car was leaking oil from the new oil filter from the last change at tire choice. I won't be going back to Tire Choice for ANYTHING, they have lost my business completely.

Horizon Dr. My car was misdiagnosed and for some reason they replaced a wheel bearing for $697.83 (including $30.90 for five lug nuts and a random $31.66 'shop supply fee'). After replacing the bearing, the car still ran as poorly as before. To his credit, the manager admitted that he didn't notice the snapped stabilizer bar, but informed me that along with that, i'd have to replace a couple other parts and the total would be an ADDITIONAL $1000+. He said he'd call me Monday with the prices and to set up an appointment. So i left with my car in the exact same shape, but with $697.83 less than when i arrived. The manager DID NOT call me back on Monday, so i got it assessed at another shop. It turned out the only problem was the stabilizer bar, which was replaced and all in the cost was $246.10. The wheel bearing had absolutely nothing to do with the problem. Nobody from this Tire Choice location or the corporate office ever returned my calls. In addition, on that Saturday while they were working on my car, a Tire Choice employee was talking about how a manager from a different store was transferred to this location and would lock his office door, turn off the lights and sleep during business hours. And apparently that manager still has a job at another location. This company is a joke and there is no way they would ever touch my car again. They also, through a letter to my credit card company, refused to reimburse me for anything. Again, they never contacted me directly. There are plenty of tire/repair places out there, I suggest you choose a different one.

I wasn't going to do this because I don't like talking down to people, however I personally used…read morethe reviews from Yelp to contact these guys so I feel obligated to share my own experience. First, I called the number provided and nobody answered. No biggie, I left a message on the obvious Google Voice system, it's been 48 hours and I'm still waiting for that call to be answered so I'm guessing nobody monitors that number. After I called, I took the time to fill out a detailed "request a quote" form and provided exceptional information to the respondant to save them time and effort if possible. I did receive follow up message where I described my issue in depth, I provided my availability and my general location and was told that I would be notified of appointment availability. Long story short, 18 hours of silence from the company led me to take my vehicle to a local shop and get my vehicle serviced. Almost 48 hours after requesting a quote I STILL haven't been offered an appointment. I guess it's probably a good thing that I'm not stranded beside the road waiting, I'd probably be carjacked by now. Not saying the dude doesn't do good work, but you must need to be special to get respect of an appointment or at least enough courtesy to decline the work because you don't have time.
