I've been going here for years.... Never again as they go through people like toilet paper. Got there 8am this morning for an oil change. It took this clown an hour and a half. My Honda needs 4.4 quarts of oil. They put in 4.9 quarts. The fat guy chewing tobacco over filled my oil, couldn't figure out how to reset the oil lite, decided to change my radio station while... thinking about his life choices. It took me 10 minutes to make him come out of my car. Save yourself a headache, just go to jiffy lube.... Poor customer service. read more

Super disappointed in this place. Had to replace my 2 back tires and was given the incorrect quote over the phone when I made the appointment. My husband took the vehicle in and an additional almost $200 was tacked on. 21 days after the tires got replaced, 1 of the tires had to be replaced. Went to the store and was told i needed to add on their tire protection plan for both tires which would be an additional $300ish on top of the $800 I've already paid. They failed to tell us that when I made the appointment over the phone and when the tires got put on. So i spent all this money at this joke of a place only to have to shell out more money to replace that tire. DO NOT waste your time here. All the bs taxes and fees they add on is despicable. The manager lacks customer service training! Arrogant. My car was there for 2 and 1/2 days to clear a check engine light. They replaced two parts which did not clear the problem. He said it was caused by the type of gas I used. No data to support that. Im then told to burn all my gas out, then refill with Chervon gas and see it the problem is cured. Really. Oh, if that doesn't take car of the problem we will try replacing another part and of course that's to cost more money. That's BS! Do take your car to this location! read more

I cannot recommend this shop enough. This is by far the best experience I've had regarding anything car related. Came in for battery testing and swap out (the battery was bad) on a Sunday. Who knew Big O did services other than tires? Not me. However, everyone knows Sunday + Anything car related in this town = pain. However, I was able to make an appointment late the night before online. The team here was awesome. There was quite a line because everyone in Henderson apparently decided to come at the same time. The woman behind the desk was so kind, made sure everyone was acknowledged and got thru everyone much quicker than I would have. I heard her go out of her way to make sure everyone was taken care of a few times in my short visit. People seemed to get in and out quickly. The tech that fixed my car explained everything and I was able to understand easily. He was very kind and did his work quickly. Will definitely recommend this shop to others! read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Big O Tires. I went in to have two tires replaced, which should have been a simple job, but the visit ended up taking over three hours. When I asked about the long wait, I was told it was because my vehicle has rear-mounted wheels and they are difficult to mount. That explanation didn't make sense, as rear-mounted wheels are actually among the easiest types of wheels to mount. During the process, the technician also told me he couldn't figure out how to check the mileage on my vehicle and said he needed to plug in an OBD reader after doing some research just to get the mileage. That alone was concerning. While working on my vehicle, the shop broke one of my wheel sensors and told me it was "old and brittle" and that they weren't responsible for it, leaving me to deal with the cost and inconvenience. After I got my vehicle back, I discovered several additional issues: * The tires were poorly balanced * The wheel weights were placed on the outer lip of my concave rims behind the spokes, which is improper placement and looks terrible * The new tires were not rotated to the rear, which is standard practice for safety and proper wear * The lug nuts were not properly torqued -- some weren't even tight They also told me they performed a 22-point inspection and claimed my brake fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant all needed to be changed. The problem with that is my keys were in my pocket and the doors were locked the entire time. The tire work was actually done out in the parking lot because I was towing a trailer, so it's hard to understand how any inspection under the hood could have been completed. Because of all of this, I had to go straight to Discount Tire after leaving Big O. They had to replace the broken wheel sensor, rebalance the tires, rotate them correctly, and properly torque the wheels to make the vehicle safe again. Overall, what should have been a routine tire change turned into hours of wasted time and additional repairs elsewhere just to fix the mistakes. I would strongly recommend double-checking any work done here or considering another shop for even basic tire service. read more

Beware of Dishonest Upsells and Unnecessary Charges at Big O Tires I want to share my recent experience at Big O Tires because it left me feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. I went in Saturday morning because my tire had a slow leak that left it flat by the next day. The shop was busy, so I scheduled an appointment for Sunday at 8 a.m. When I arrived, the staff were all polite. No one was rude. But it became clear that either they didn't know what they were doing or there's an aggressive upsell culture going on. After checking my car, the mechanic showed me what looked like a gouge in my tire, claiming that's what caused the leak. I didn't recall ever seeing that before or anything that could have caused it. He insisted it couldn't be repaired and that I needed a replacement. Inside, they told me I should really replace all four tires due to "weather cracking" for about $1,900. I drive a BMW i3, and the last time I replaced all four, it cost me $880. When I said I'd only buy one, I was quoted $400 for a single tire and that I'd have a $200 deposit. Still trying to do the right thing, I paid the deposit and went home. Later that day, my husband found the exact set of tires at Costco for $1,100 ($275 ea) total, installed and balanced (labor included). I immediately called Big O to cancel and was told I'd be charged a 25% restocking fee, even though the tire hadn't arrived yet, nor was it shipped. I asked for a total refund and eventually gave up arguing. That night, we tried using a Fix-A-Flat kit, which didn't work, so we stopped at a small 24-hour shop called Melendez Auto Services on Tropicana. He said he did not have our tire size but he gave us air to get back home and while he was putting in the air, within seconds he said, "Your tire's fine, it's just the valve stem that's leaking." He replaced it and said no charge but I gave him $15 anyway. The tire has held air perfectly ever since. So Big O not only misdiagnosed the leaking issue but also pushed me to replace $1,900 worth of tires I didn't need and still charged me a 25% fee for canceling an unnecessary order. That's not an honest mistake; that's a systemic lack of integrity. I will never return to Big O Tires again and hope this review helps others think twice before agreeing to costly "repairs" that might not be necessary. While I did decide to get all new tires because it was due, I didn't appreciate being lied to about the leak. When he filled my tires with air, he should have noticed it then. read more

On Sunday, June 22, I brought my car into Big O Tires to determine whether I had a damaged tire or a cracked rim. I was told it would be inspected to identify the issue. Instead of a proper diagnosis, I was charged $130 for a new tire and installation--only to leave with the exact same issue. Later that evening, while driving on the freeway, my tire pressure dropped dangerously low to 17-18 PSI. I called and was told to come back the next day. I had to miss work to do this. On Monday, a different employee (who was actually helpful) inspected my car and quickly found the real issue: a cracked rim. So, the tire they charged me for wasn't the problem to begin with. That means the first technician either didn't inspect the rim at all or didn't care to mention the crack. Worse, the manager offered no help or explanation, and the tech who worked on my car the day before wouldn't even speak to me. I sat there for nearly two hours with no updates, no accountability, and zero urgency to correct what could've turned into a dangerous situation. Eventually, I was told by the manager that the rim "must not have been visibly cracked," which I now know isn't an acceptable excuse. I contacted corporate and was directed to a general manager named Gabriel. His tone was immediately defensive and dismissive. He told me they were only responsible for installing the tire--not verifying whether it was safe to drive on. I explained that most shops do a basic air leak check before letting a customer drive off. To confirm this, I called seven other tire shops in the area, and every single one said they check for air leaks as part of a tire replacement to avoid exactly this kind of situation. I had the new tire for less than 24 hours before the problem persisted. The fact that my car was returned to me in an unsafe condition is deeply concerning. Instead of owning up to the oversight, the entire experience became a cycle of blame-shifting and rude customer service. If your safety matters, or you expect thorough and honest work, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. I am extremely disappointed with my experience and will not be returning. Approximately three months ago, I purchased four brand new tires and a road hazard warranty for over $1,500, plus an additional ~$280 for coverage. Given the investment, I expected professional service and accountability. Shortly after installation, I had to return twice because the tires were not properly balanced. This should have been done correctly the first time. Improper balancing is not just an inconvenience--it affects safety, performance, and tire longevity. More concerning, after these service issues, my daughter was later involved in an accident. While I cannot say definitively that the balancing issue caused it, it is unacceptable that basic services were not handled properly despite multiple visits. Recently, I moved the same tires--still in excellent condition--onto a newer vehicle with the same size rims. I was then informed that the warranty I purchased is now void because the tires are no longer on the original vehicle. This was never clearly explained at the time of purchase. The warranty is under my name, for tires I still own, yet I am now being told the coverage I paid for no longer applies. For a company charging premium prices, I expected better service, clearer communication, and accountability. Instead, I received repeated service issues and a warranty that appears to offer far less protection than represented. I strongly recommend that future customers request all warranty terms in writing and clarify limitations upfront.  Unfortunately, this experience has resulted in a loss of trust, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Was help by girl behind counter tatted and the DM Tom Keiser was slightly miss quoted on price over phone but the DM Tom was able to assist and authorize a discount done by the girl sorry didn't catch her name that helped get the price just under what was quoted on phone. They took accountability and showed they appreciated my business. I went in several times spent $1,400 bucks to get a p171 code fixed the first few times the people that did my work were no longer there they got fired so they were not taking accountability so that was diagnosed wrong put in the wrong part they rediagnostic with the manager said I'd have to spend another $700 and guaranteed the work got the work done and still had the p171 code was told to go to a different store to have it smoked again by somebody quote unquote certified found the whole that they didn't fix this was over a week ago has not gone back to me The The district manager Tom very unprofessional rude try to make it feel like it was my fault that I agreed to work that they said needed to be done to fix the problem I brought my car in for The new manager Chris said he would work with me I did everything he asked to try to get the problem resolved by driving 30 mi across town and back just to never hear back from them again I would not recommend going to this store unless you want to pay money for something that isn't going to get fixed seems like they are just replacing parts until they finally find out what's wrong beware. read more

I took my car in for service after I had a popped tire. Big O was my first "big" purchase as an adult. I spent nearly $1500 on a brand new set of white wall tires for my 1995 gmc jimmy. I spent about 4 hours in store that day. They kept my truck for at least 24 hrs as they could not find my white wall. When they finally let me know it was ready I was told "The photo doesn't match the actual tire, but we found it". Imagine my surprise when it was the wrong tire!! AND ITS BLUE?? Now this has been OVER 2 weeks and still, even after regional manager David Mackee (maybe spelled differently) said he would get me an additional tire, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. I've written countless reviews and emails and spent hours on the phone but i WILL CONTINUE. Yall as a company used me to sell a credit card, a full set of warrantied, nice tires and somehow you're still fucking me. I've always taken my vehicle to big o... I went in today for an oil change and wheel alignment at 830 a.m. I just left at 2:15 p.m. my car didn't get pulled in till around 1145 a.m. Turns out the wheel alignment machine wasn't working...well if they knew this for a long period of time why didn't ANYONE come and speak to me. People who came in after me left hours before me!!! I had so much other errands to do and no one had the courtesy to speak to me about anything. Customer service needs to be boosted up and COMMUNICATION with customers definitely needs to be worked on. Customer service can make or break a sale!!!!!! If I didn't go to the counter after waiting nearly 6 hours...would they have spoke to me? Maybe not!
