Honda serviced my Civic and CR-V. Bought a Prius from Toyota. and that was a nightmare when they damaged the car at delivery - had it fixed and the Color Point screwed that job up and tried to blame ME for their orange peel paint job when I went to pick it up. When I bought my Acura it was because they had what I wanted and no other reason.. Probably won't buy another car from any Findlay store. I wasn't pleased with how the purchase of my 2019 RDX went in September 2018. I'm not pleased COVID locked everything down and almost 9 years later - the warranties I bought are all expired even though I don't even have 35k miles on my car...even though NV law specifically states warranties run consecutively - not concurrently - to factory warranties. Legally, my car's extended warranty should still be valid. What burns me more than anything is every time I come in for an oil change or service, they're running comps on my car without my authorization, wanting to give me less than $30k cash for a vehicle that's seriously under mileage, never wrecked, and refusing to consider the OEM aftermarket extras I bought at the time of sale (parking sensors, heated steering, remote start), going so far as to imply I'm lying about what I bought and when they unlazy themselves to check my records..they have the nerve to tell me the extra's only gets me an additional $500 on their offer. I promise you I'm the only BASE AWD owner with these features on the new 2019 bodystyler edesign that released in 2018. Give me a break - I worked auto finance in another life and am now in insurance and deal with repairs, totaled cars and ACVs all day long. I also recently learned - 2 weeks ago - the tint they charged me for at the time of sale WAS NOT EVEN DONE! The glass was stained by the manufacturer and the tint shop only removed tint from the front driver and passenger windows. $1k upcharged for work that was never done. Why am I not surprised by this??? Mike in Service has been fab the entire time I've owned my car and if it weren't for him, I'd probably take my car elsewhere. After 3 months we're still delighted with the vehicle that's an upgrade in every way, with a clean carfax, the MDX was originally purchased and serviced only at Findlay. Findlay Acura is located in the valley auto mall in Henderson Nevada. They are part of the Findlay automotive group consisting of Acura, Toyota, Honda and more. To say that I'm completely disgusted with Findlay as a whole, would be an understatement. My tale begins in 2022 at Findlay Honda. I took in a 2006 Honda Ridgeline that had a misfire code on the check engine light. I was told that it had bad heads. I had the heads replaced, turns out the piston was bad not the heads. So now I pay for a factory short block engine, they'll use my new heads on it. Findlay used an old timing belt from the old engine without my consent and that broke 5000 miles later. Findlay allegedly replaced a ton of valves, and cobbled it back together. 5000 miles later, it blew up. There was a cracked piston from the belt breaking and the valve smacking it. They knew it, they just didn't want to take responsibility for it. Findlay flat out refused to take any responsibility after I spent about 7000$ total on this debacle. And got 10k miles out of a factory Honda engine. I was Fortier told a factory engine only has a 12 month 12k mile warranty, which wasn't was the former service advisor told me, he said 3 year 36k. Regardless, I wouldn't trust Findlay to change my oil now. Their service people are shady, they will do things against what is right and proper by industry standards and they will flat out screw you in the end. $5000 later, I'm on my 3rd new engine. Rest assured Findlay wasn't allowed to touch it again. read more

I purchased a used vehicle end of February and explained my situation on how I am giving the vehicle to my son in another state. Sales rep was awesome. Super friendly and not pushy so that part of this was awesome 5 My experience with service the few times I've been there this past month also has been great 5 Finance went smoothly, explained the situation above and was told when I go to register the vehicle with DMV, I can ask for an extension to drive it to CO and they will give me the title right there. I won't have to pay NV registration since it will be registered in CO. Fast forward 30 days, I go to DMV, they don't have any paperwork from the dealership. They issue me a 30 day temp so I can get it to Colorado. I called the dealership today, spoke with the finance guy, he doesn't know what I'm talking about and doesn't remember the sale. (Although I've been there 4x since then) but it's fine. He gives me the phone for the title folks in the dealership. Called title and spoke to a gal who said, they didn't process my paperwork and it's still sitting there. I explained the situation once again and she's like there's nothing we can do once DMV has it and sales nor finance told us to rush this. I am beyond livid. I was told one thing, that wasn't true and now 30 days later, paperwork was never even submitted to DMV so nothing has been in the works this entire time. If i would have known that, I would've obviously called title and asked for the RUSH so I don't have to pay NV registration AND Colorado registration in a month period of time. Lesson learned...don't believe what you're told about any paperwork and FOLLOW UP YOURSELF if you need your title processed in a certain timeframe because it's just sitting on a desk for at least a month before being sent to DMV. read more

A couple of days later I got another dealer with a different quote and lower price. Show them the information and now somehow they cant do it. Told me I would have to come in. Disappointed in the service here. I asked multiple times regarding a second key on the vehicle I was purchasing and the question kept getting ignored, shrugged off. Till I finally asked before signing and was told there was a second key that they just had to get it from the employee who accepted the trade in. So I signed the deal only to find out it wasn't an employee who had the key it was the previous owner who is no longer responding to them. Now I'm left with one key when told prior to signing they're was a second key that I would just need to come back the following day for it. When I returned it didn't help the fact that I was standing in that lobby for 10 min for them to tell me they were still waiting for that employee to come in just for it to be dragged out for three more days. My husband and I came into Findlay Acura genuinely intending to purchase a vehicle, but unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. The sales manager, Harris, was unprofessional, condescending, and dismissive from the moment we arrived. He refused to discuss numbers with us and wouldn't even engage in a real conversation until we submitted a credit application--something we clearly stated we were not comfortable doing before seeing any figures. His attitude made us feel talked down to and completely blown off, which is the opposite of how a customer should feel when they're ready to buy a car. Bought a used Mercedes Thanksgiving weekend, no issues so far. They give you bullshit fees on their initial cost breakdown - don't fall for it, make them take it off. I had them take off $5k of trash add-ons. The sales manager is smarmy as hell and I really didn't like dealing with him. Kept saying things like "well, since you're a nice lady" .. Cruz is With the finance department. I got my Tesla from this dealership. When I went to sign my papers, I was very clear with Cruz that I did not want any of the add-ons which means The tire warranty, any warranty that the dealership was offering, I did not want it, and I made it very clear with him. Cruz was able to be sneaky and placed it on paperwork that I wanted the tire warranty. I trusted him and he went behind my back anyway, and did it! I was so upset. Junk fees. Shady contracts. Dishonest staff. Everything we don't like about car dealers, you will find in my story, and you will find it at Findlay Acura. Two weeks ago my wife and I bought a new Integra and traded in a 2015 Honda. We didn't come prepared with the title for our trade in, but not to worry they said. They take a $250 deposit in case we can't find it, and they assured us we are good either way because the Honda had been paid off for years, and the fee we paid allows them to get it on their own. And then the phone calls start. We are home with our new car a few days later, and at first it's just a request to get us the title for our trade-in. Not a priority for us we tell them, but sure we'll get around to it. (After all, we paid the fee that lets them get it themselves!) And then another call. And another. And now they have my attention but I want to understand why this matters so much, because everything until this point doesn't add up. I call them back, and all of a sudden they get 3 managers on speaker phone yelling and threatening to repo our new car if we don't get them the title from our previous lender! Out of nowhere! On the last call, I asked over and over if they could show me in writing what my responsibilities are and what the next steps are, and why the $250 fee I paid doesn't cover this. As it turns out, that $250 fee is not in the contract at all! They just TOOK it. I've verified that no other Findlay dealer charges this fee. I've done everything I can. We called our old lender and got what they asked for. And I've written emails to request this fee to be refunded and they are simply ignoring me. I will probably never see that money, but people should know what they are getting if they buy from these people. read more

Worst used car experience in 35 years of buying cars. Was hoping this would be the 8th Acura purchase in the family, but Harris, the finance manager, sales guy, and sales managers all made this the absolute stereotypical worst purchase of all time. Car listed at $26,995 but let's add a Findlay Package for $3k that includes mats and some ridiculous junk fee of $3k for paint chips or rocks. Now the 2017 MDX is $37k with all items. Harris says "let me call corporate and try to get these reduced". Are you insulting my intelligence, Harris? Yep. I walk away, come back and they have reduced it $1k. I leave the premise and the sales manager miraculously reduces the price without those two items and says "do we have a Deal?" Via text. So wait... if I'm a stupid customer and didn't ask, you'd just charge the $6k in junk? And now you're doing me a favor? All of you, every last one of you, are absolute bottom of the earth scum. Horrible experience and those that have said they had a great time here, maybe you should rethink how they absolutely screwed you on your purchase. Also, I wonder what my deal would've looked like on June 30th vs June 7th. We will never know but many aspiring car buyers will learn their fate in the coming weeks. I advise extreme caution folks. I had no plans of purchasing an Acura! I was just "looking" at new cars and my son suggested we stop by Findlay Acura n the way to another dealership. When we arrived, a salesman came out to greet us and he was AWESOME from the moment he introduced himself. Charles Clarke IV. He listened to what I was looking for, suggested leasing vs buying, laughed with us and genuinely cared about my concerns. I never felt rushed by him even for a minute. He went over different options of Acura's and incentives. We test drove 2 vehicles and I decided (with my son's help) to lease a 2025 RDX. It is beautiful! But to me it's just a car. I didn't want to sign that day and Charles was very understanding. I called him the next morning and had a couple concerns. He worked them out and I went in that afternoon to sign and drive. Financed a 2019 Mercedes c300 here 55k miles. Haven't even been able to drive it. Engine light after engine light popping on the dash since driving it off the lot. Wait actually? Since the damn test drive there's been lights on the dash but "Hey it's probably nothing we'll take care of it". Absolutely terrible attention to detail by the mechanics. I've had to waste many hours of my time dealing with this place back and fourth and back and fourth. Severely unprofessional. The people are nice but I'd never do business with this place again or any Findlay after my experience. Will tell anyone that asks to stay far away. They've had the car in the mechanic shop longer than I've had it and have put more miles on it than I have quite literally. Weeks are past and I've still yet to drive the car without lights on the dash. Zero updates without me calling or texting in. They sold me a car with a failing cooling system in the engine and let me drive away putting me and my family in potential harm. TRASH. He saves you a lot of time and trouble and will get all your numbers and prices and payments lined up ahead of time. No more sitting while someone goes and "checks with my manager." He easily worked out a great price for me on a lease of a newly redesigned 2021 TLX Advance SH-AWD. He even got me out of the last two months of my 2018 lease with no extra cost to me so I could take advantage of the Acura incentives in March. He got me zero out of pocket cost and threw in a bunch of accessories too. After all this I got a new (more expensive) TLX for barely more than my previous payment! My family has owned Acura(4 currently) for years, and every other dealership used has been pleasant for the most part or at least able to correct any issues. This dealership has been nothing short of a nightmare with the service department. While purchasing my item, we were assisted by the assistant manager. We brought the core in immediately, so with that not being the norm it changed the process. We were informed that he was going to keep the box, which was unusual but we didn't object, after all was said and done we never were given an invoice. So after getting the part it turned out it wasn't the part at all and was never touched so we took it in for return and this is where it got messy because we were met with hostility. They questioned why we didn't have the box, had to call the assistant manager to confirm, then we were informed that we had to pay a restock fee of 30%. We were never told about the fee and were advised it was on the invoice, the Invoice that we NEVER received. We were able to negotiate that fee down to 15%, although when they went to issue the refund, we were informed that the register was not set of override for 30 to 15%, so were advised that we would benefit from this obstacle, although when the configurations came through that was not at all true. They were taking more than the negotiated amount. At any rate it is my strong advice that you use Cardinal Way Acura. It is by far a much more seem less experience and actually customer focused. This place is a never again nor will I ever buy a car with them and we are an Acura family. Very disappointed. read more

After my deal was closed I come to find out my car only had a spare key. No original programmed keys to lock your vehicle or even something simple as a floor Mat. Not recommend and will not be back. Seven years ago this dealership had one of the best managers around. A former marine, he had integrity, honesty and the utmost respect for his customers. Fast forward to today and the new guy is an angry liar. Angry because he's angry. A liar because he lies. Before going in we asked (using their website option) for a sale price, rather than rely on the MSRP at a time when car pricing is unpredictable. We were emailed a sale price essentially the same as the MSRP that even showed our payment and gave us the option to complete the purchase. So we went to the dealership. Yet after the test drive we discover there's a $7000 mark up. If they can get that much for a $60,000 vehicle that would be $55,000 before the new models arrive in any normal year, then so be it. But we are not interested in being gouged. Moreover we were annoyed they got us to drive over on false pretences. The "sale price" was nothing of the sort. When we expressed our shock, the managers response was ignorant and arrogant. Instead of admitting (at minimum) that their email could and should have been clearer, he bluntly declared that the mark up was displayed in the vehicle (which it was). But he told me I was "being an asshole" and needed to lower my voice (I wasn't shouting or even close, he must have super sensitive hearing) because I called him out for lying. He denied sending the "sale price" email from Findlay Acura even after we showed it to him. And apparently I prevented him from saying anything, another lie since he'd already said what he said and denied sending the email. And then he bluntly told us to leave. (We had only been waiting to get our key back which they were holding, something lost on him apparently.) So be warned. Ignore anything they tell you to get you to their dealership. And don't expect any classy level of respectful service or even acknowledgement of the truth. Just lost my trust in the dealership. We won't be back. read more

i recently bought a used car here, the sales, finance, and parts rep here are amazing to say the least. My issue is with the actual mechanics down stairs, and their lack of caring for their job. I understand i bought a used car but on the website it states the cars go through a 200+ point inspection and i'd be surprised if mine even got 2 points inspected. When i bought it originally i took it home for maybe half a day and had to bring it back with a whole list of different things in the car literally MISSING (battery covers and mufflers in the engine bay) or broken like the ac knob was stuck on, was literally driving sideways bc it needed an alignment so bad and ect.. well they kept my car for a week, just for issues that i specifically asked if were fixed to not be fixed (wheel liner hanging down) and they did an alignment and didn't tighten my lug nut locks so 2/4 of them fell off my wheels before i noticed.... well i bought the warranty and it works at all finlays so i took it to cadillac and i found out that it had a recall since 2019 and that acura should not have been allowed to sell it with the recall ... so just another thing to add to the list. would i buy a brand new car from here yes, but used, absolutely not. read more
