Outstanding Customer Service at Ford Country! After several frustrating experiences with other Ford dealerships, I wanted to recognize Gloria Mendiola and shop foreman Pete Ray at Ford Country. I brought my 2025 Ford Explorer in on October 19th for an issue with uneven taillight brightness. From the moment I arrived, Gloria was incredible! Before I could even get out of my vehicle, she approached my driver's door, greeted me, listened to my concerns, and personally inspected the taillights. She arranged a courtesy shuttle home and later went above and beyond to get me into a loaner while diagnostics continued. The loaner experience wasn't perfect. The paperwork took approximately 30 minutes, and the Expedition was dirty inside and out. It also had a dashboard warning indicating the rear seats weren't properly locked and shouldn't be used. That's definitely something the dealership should improve. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Pete Ray, who was extremely professional and honest. His technicians investigated the issue, including swapping taillight assemblies, but the problem remained. Due to professionally installed aftermarket emergency lighting, Pete explained that his technicians weren't comfortable continuing electrical diagnostics because of liability concerns. I completely respected his honesty. What impressed me most was that Ford Country waived the diagnostic charge, even after spending time investigating my vehicle. Gloria also made sure I received documentation of their findings. Thankfully, after some additional troubleshooting at home, I was able to resolve the issue myself! Even though Ford Country couldn't complete the repair, Gloria and Pete treated me with respect and professionalism throughout the entire experience. After seven dealership visits since purchasing my Explorer brand-new, excellent customer service means everything to me. I have been bringing my Mustang GT to this location for nine years. I even bought a truck with my spouse from this location as well. The service has been deteriorating since then. I brought my vehicle in because my air-conditioning unit was not working. It was diagnosed as a cracked compressor. The estimate I received was outrageous. They were gouging me on the price of the parts. I was able to show them the prices from their own website which were vastly different. They did a price adjustment but acted like they were doing me a favor. I also had the front driver side sensor on my tire that needed to be replaced. I was overcharged for that as well. While they had my car, they called me to advise me the passenger front tire sensor did not work either. I authorized the payment. They called me back the next day to say the driver side rear tire sensor was not working. At this point I felt I was being taken advantage of, so I did not authorize it to be fixed. When I picked up my car, I still had the check engine light on, and my dashboard would not give me the reading of my tire pressure for any tire. Ford stated that it's gonna stay on until I fixed the rear tire. I brought my vehicle into discount tire and they advised me that. Yes the rear sensor needed to be replaced, but also the front passenger tire sensor needed to be replaced as well. I advised them it was a brand new part that I just paid to have fixed in March. I authorize the work and they gave me the sensor from the front passenger tire. They stated there was no way this was a new part and it's likely the tire was not touched or fixed. They also gave me the old sensor for the rear tire. Both parts look equally old and the rear sensor is 12 years old. I advised Ford that the part was not working and likely never touched and I wanted my money back. They refused to accommodate me. They stated I would need to bring the car in for another diagnostic consultation, which would end up costing me money. I told them I don't want to bring my car in and be without my car for several days when the tire shop fixed it in 45 minutes. Ford still refused to give me a refund. This is fraud. I did file a a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

Extremely frustrating experience with Ford Country regarding unresolved recalls I have been trying for quite some time to get three recalls addressed on my vehicle, and the experience with Ford Country has been extremely frustrating. Getting someone on the phone has been a major challenge. After repeatedly trying to contact the dealership, I was eventually able to schedule an appointment. However, I was then told they were too busy to take care of the recall and that I would be switched to mobile service instead. The mobile service representative never showed up. I was told he would call me and come by on Friday to address the recall, but there was no call and no show. This has continued to be an ongoing issue. The amount of time I have had to spend repeatedly calling and trying to get someone to respond is unacceptable, especially when this involves three outstanding safety recalls. I still have not been able to get this situation resolved or even get reliable communication from the dealership about when the recalls will actually be completed. At this point, because I have been unable to get the dealership to address the recalls after numerous attempts, I feel I have no choice but to escalate the matter and file a complaint through the NHTSA Complaint Gateway regarding the unresolved safety recalls and my experience attempting to obtain service. I hope Ford Country takes this seriously and improves its communication and recall-service process. I have been in the market for a new car as the maintenance on my 2014 ford escape keeps getting more expensive due to the limited amount of parts left. I've been researching vehicles I have been considering trading in my car for and the 2026 bronco sport heritage was on my list. The pre and during test drive experience was great. Then it went downhill. I was about 90% sure I was going to trade in my car for the Bronco that day until they started being extremely pushy on getting me to sign. The sales manager had even sat down with me asking "what's a payment you are willing to do for us to get you to buy this car today". That's when I knew I wasn't going to go further with this dealership. I'm in my early 20s and have zero debt with great credit and that's something I would love to keep up. I explained to them I was narrowing down my options in regard to the vehicle I would end up purchasing and not in a rush. Especially regarding monthly payments being reasonable for my income. Being a college student on top of working full time, I try to be as responsible as possible regarding money. I felt if I signed with this dealership, I would've been screwed big time. I initially worked with a sales representative who assured me they specialized in bankruptcy transactions. They instructed me to obtain a court order from my bankruptcy trustee authorizing new debt, which I willingly did at an out-of-pocket legal cost of $2,000. During the weeks leading up to my court hearing, I repeatedly asked the sales representative for an updated sales sheet to present accurate figures to the court, but they completely failed to provide it. After successfully securing the order, I discovered that the vehicle originally quoted to me had been sold. To compound the issue, none of their remaining inventory fell within the budget approved by the court. Even after I offered to request a higher debt ceiling from the trustee to accommodate their available vehicles, the dealership simply told me the offer was expired and there was nothing they could do. Purchase experience was not bad. However, Ford Country does not offer any loaner for recalls. I expect the dealership to provide loaners when they are at fault for a safety recall. I purchased two vehicles a week apart and both vehicles need to be dropped off for the recall. There is no timeline on how long it will take, so I am pretty much stuck at the dealership. The service advisor, Jose, said they won't do anything about the wait, I will have to take it to Ford. As a customer, I purchased the car from Ford Country and not Ford Motor, so there is no point to deal with the manufacturer. This is the first time buying a Ford, and also the first time that I did not qualify for a loaner on a recall for any car brands. First time buying an American car to support manufacturing here. Spend all that money on a 2017 beautiful Ford fusion extended warranty through a third-party similar to Car Shield because the manufacturer warranty is expired - end up with a failing transmission and Ford doesn't accept third-party warranties. They won't fix my car for me even though it's far too young to even be needing a new transmission. I have to find someone else. I mentioned average online prices for changing an injector is $900-$1200 and all she said was "that's mom and pop shops, not dealerships". Point taken. Brought in my 2017 F350 platinum for warranty work on the sunroof. When I picked up the truck the service advisor tried telling me my coolant was contaminated and my EGR cooler was plugged. He offered a $1200 service to clean the EGR cooler that was not covered by warranty. (Emissions components have 7 yr 100k warranty btw) When I asked how they inspected my EGR cooler being that it was in a box in my garage at the house he didnt have an answer. A week later I discovered the tech that did the sunroof work burnt a hole in my floor carpet with his work lamp and covered it up with the floor mat. Obviously the dealership denied responsibility. Opened the sunroof about 4-6 times over the next 6 months before it broke again. When I called about this they said my truck was no longer under warranty. I just left it closed until the other day I decided to fix it myself by watching a youtube video. Found the clips on the headliner ripped out and old pieces of plastic from the original failure still lodged in the glass track. Now im out the same sunroof and a floor carpet and a headliner. What a waste of time and money. Should have just youtubed it in the first place instead of bringing my $100k truck to get worked on by a 23 year old slack jaw with a strawberry kiwi geek bar and a Harbor Freight screwdriver. Ford itself put Sirius radio on all the entertainment centers for free as a promotion to try and get people to buy it, without permission from the owners.Needless to say it deleted the Maps and Music that was subscribed to. This has been the worst experience ever. My husband a 24 year Army Veteran purchased a vehicle that he was later not able to ship to Germany where he works for the DOD and live. He was promised by the dealership that the 2025 Ford F-150 would be bought back, down payment returned and since we had already made our first payment it would be returned as well. We believe that they re-sold the truck (illegal) have not payed off Ford Credit, We have not received our 1st payment back. We have however received our down payment back. We have not received a call from anyone able to make decisions and give us truthful answers or Resolution. The lack of Integrity speaks louder than anything. This dealership along with Ford Corporation together is shady! High Pressure Fuel Pump went out in my truck, which is a huge issue with Ford Trucks. After driving 300 miles to Las Vegas for a short vacation, the dealer tells me that the High Pressure Fuel Pump won't be covered because they found gas in my Diesel fuel system. There is no way you can drive a Diesel on gas.....especially 300 miles. Ford has a big problem with there trucks. I have owned 5 F series Trucks. I will never buy a Ford product ever again. Extremely Disappointed and Misled I had a terrible experience with Ford Country Henderson. I traded in my truck to get about $15,000 in equity and agreed to purchase a new vehicle with a specific interest rate and monthly payment that we all signed off on. A week later, they called me saying they couldn't honor the deal and that to keep my monthly payment, they would have to reduce my trade-in value by $5,000. I told them that was unacceptable but I was open to choosing a different vehicle to meet the payment we originally agreed on. They asked for a few more days to "work on it," assuring me they could make it happen and that I'd have my equity check by a certain date. After waiting over two and a half weeks, they said the deal was finally finalized and that the check would be ready once the deal was funded. A few more days passed, and now they're saying they can't issue the check until they receive the title from my truck--which will take another 10 days. This entire process has been unprofessional and full of broken promises. I feel misled and taken advantage of. Communication was poor, deadlines were ignored, and the dealership kept changing their story. I've purchased several vehicles before and have never experienced anything like this. I own a 2015 Ford Mustang and I admit; this car gets treated like an automotive princess. Since I'm new to the Las Vegas/Henderson, NV area, I don't have a trustworthy auto mechanic to lean on for service and repairs. So when I discovered a minor engine oil leak, I decided to put my trust in the local Ford dealership, Ford Country in Henderson, NV. Unfortunately, my trust in Ford Country proved to be misplaced. I recommend anyone dealing with their service department to keep your scam-detecting radar on the high setting. This review is not a complaint about inflated dealership service pricing. We all know that's the state of affairs. Keep reading to see why it seems like the repair of a simple oil leak ended seeming like just another attempted scam on an elder American. I made an appointment and brought the car in (strictly) for diagnosis of the leak. The Service Writer, Sarah B. quoted me $200 for the diagnostic service. That seemed high but I didn't have viable alternatives. I discussed with Sarah the specific parameters needing to be present for the oil leak to take place; the car had to be facing downhill, shut-off, etc. I additionally noted that the oil leak, which was no more than 1-2 tablespoons of oil for a 24-hour period, definitely had a specific location within the engine area from which it was seemingly emanating. Although not an expert, I suggested a loose oil filter or perhaps a leaky gasket at the oil pressure sensor were potential causes of the oil leak. I handed over the car keys and with that, I left my beloved Mustang in Ford Country's hands. After a couple days, I received a call from Sarah B. She coolly told me the water pump was the cause of the oil leak and the installation of a new water pump would be $2,300. I was shocked; the cause made little sense and the price of the repair seemed comically exorbitant. I advised Sarah to not proceed with the repairs and I would pick-up my car. Oddly, she stated she would "need some time" to make my car available for pick-up. I complied, mostly because I was in shock regarding the estimated repair cost. So, in the meantime, I did some research...and some math: According to official Ford documents, a water pump removal and replacement for a 2015 Mustang should take 3-4 hours. Presuming a shop rate of between $120-150 per hour, the technician's time should cost absolutely no more than $600. (Even if the rate is a New York, Los Angeles or Bay Area $200 per hour, my total labor charge should not exceed $800.) Additionally, replacement water pumps for a 2015 Ford Mustang have a retail price of approximately $100. Throw in $300-400 of dealer mark-ups and miscellaneous parts at the job and its maximum charge should be absolutely no more than +/- $1,200. And here's where things got interesting! I went to dealership and paid my $199 diagnostic fee. And to say I was surprised would be an understatement: according to the invoice I was given, the technician's exact comments regarding his/her diagnosis were, "INSPECTED AND FOUND AFTER MARKET OIL FILTER TO BE LEAKING..." Wait, what?!?! The technician also noted the water pump showed "seepage" and recommended it be replaced. However, unquestionably, the oil leak I wanted diagnosed was being caused by a loose oil filter. Moreover, even if Sarah believed the water pump needed to be replaced to somehow fix an oil leak, how did she get to a $2,300 repair bill? It wasn't based on the actual cause of the oil leak, it wasn't based on the technician's diagnosis and it wasn't based on official Ford documents to estimate repair costs for water pump replacements. I can't help but feel I was marked as the "dumb old man," and targeted for unnecessary repair costs to line someone's pockets. I placed my trust in Ford Country and this was clearly a bad decision. I will not return to Ford Country, for service, parts or auto purchases and I recommend you avoid them, as well. DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT WORK WITH MIKE SALES MANAGER. I've never been treated with such disrespect at a place of business. I worked with two individuals--Mike and Isaiah. While Isaiah was kind and professional throughout, Mike's behavior was completely unacceptable. He was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me in a condescending manner. It was clear he didn't know how to communicate respectfully with customers. I ultimately chose to walk out. I refuse to spend my money at an establishment that tolerates such poor treatment of its patrons. It's unfortunate that Isaiah lost a sale because of someone else's behavior, but I hope this review encourages management to re-evaluate their customer service standards--starting with Mike. read more
