He was able to work something out so I could still get my maintenance done and even walked me over to the parts department so I could speak with them about the fob issue. He also arranged a Lyft ride home for me and a ride back once my car was ready, which I really appreciated. Everything was handled in a timely manner and the customer service was great from start to finish. Wow! And not in a good way, I don't even know where to begin.. This happened last year, the day after Xmas as I was shopping for Kia EV6 GT. My original plan was to purchase a used one but if I can find a deal on a new one, why not right? I saw Kia was doing 0% APR and was hoping the deal is good for the EV6 GT. They also have 10k cash back incentive but doesn't seem to be able to combine both 0% and 10k off. (yeah I know wishful thinking) Now I've already did my homework and got another quote (out of state dealer) with the EXACT same vehicle (same color everything) so I'm comparing apples and apples here. The quote I got was at $894/mo for 72 months for a NEW 2025 Kia EV6 GT in matte blue (not my 1st color choice) The ONLY difference is Towbin decided to add almost $6,200 worth of dealer add-ons, stuff you don't really need or can get it cheaper $3,995 for Desert Protection Package - No thank you! I can get my own tint for a lot less $695 for Red Alert Braking, if you really want this, you can DIY with a $20 LED bulb.. $995 for Polysteel - Don't need $495 for GPS Locator - They're joking here right? The vehicle COMES with GPS tracking, it's called Kia Access. They also wanted $20 for SMOG fee.. yes for an Electric Vehicle! On the day of my appointment, Jesus is the guy I'm booked with. He is actually the saving grace in this review. He seems fairly new to the biz, and was already waiting for me by the vehicle. Jesus is very friendly, chill and cool (unlike 99% of the sales folks) He also knows a lot about the vehicle (or he memorized the brochure) Either way, he did his homework and it shows. We took a quick test drive together and yes I can see myself driving this on a daily. Here's the part that went sour, he called backup (yes your traditional sales guy with the phony smile pretending to be your best friend) To make this short, we went back and forth a few times, I believe the initial offer was over $1200/mo for 72months!! Like really? I wasn't having it and already told them what I'm willing to consider ($900/mo for 72 months) He comes back telling me "Am I ready to hit the bong?" He made it sound like he came down to $900/mo then I looked and it was $950/mo.. then he made this comment that really ticked me off.. something about "ONLY extra $50/mo" Yes if it's truly 50 bucks I'm all for it, but x 72 that's $3,600!! Yup that's when I started to walk away, the guy actually chased me down even as I was backing up. I received numerous text and calls later asking me to come back they are willing to deal. I am reopening this complaint because the issue remains unresolved. Despite repeatedly being told that the dealership cares about our concerns and that we could reach out at any time, our requests after the initial contact from the back end boss have largely been ignored. My messages have gone unanswered, and there has been little to no communication regarding the status of our vehicle. We are still without our vehicle, creating a significant hardship for our family. To make matters worse, my husband was treated rudely by members of the service department when he attempted to get answers. We have made every effort to work with the dealership in good faith, but they have not demonstrated the same commitment to resolving this matter. Their lack of communication, poor customer service, and failure to provide a timely and fair resolution are unacceptable. This is not how customers should be treated after purchasing a vehicle that experienced serious mechanical issues within just 30 days of purchase and again only a few months later. At this point, I no longer want this vehicle. It has proven to be unreliable, and I no longer feel it is safe for my family. The boss told me to trade it in, so take in a balance and another car balance, that's a fair resolution? In addition to the inconvenience, we have incurred significant out of pocket expenses. I have spent more than $600 on a rental vehicle just to get to work and have also had to use my extended warranty, paying a deductible for one of the repairs. Despite all of this, the dealership has offered no meaningful assistance beyond a 20% discount or paying half the cost of certain repairs. Had this vehicle not experienced repeated issues almost immediately after purchase, we would not be in this position. The dealership continues to reference its inspection process and the paperwork provided before the sale, yet the condition of this vehicle tells a very different story. Comparing these major mechanical failures to replacing a light bulb is an unreasonable comparison. The back e d boss I spoke with compared the vehicle to a Light bulb, stating they are unpredictable and can break it not work at anytime, but light bulbs do not come with a Towbin inspection, promises of quality, or assurances that it has been thoroughly inspected before being sold. I understand that mechanical issues can happen with any vehicle. However, the frequency, severity, and cost of these repairs combined with the dealership's lack of communication, poor customer service, and failure to stand behind the vehicle they sold are unacceptable. I respectfully requested that the BBB reopen this complaint, as the matter remains unresolved and the dealership has failed to follow through on its commitments. read more

Purchased a 2026 Kia Carnival Ex from them about a week ago. We were greeted by Sidney as soon as we step out of car. We were supposed to meet with Eddie but he was unavailable at the time we got to the dealer so we were assisted by Sidney for the first half of our visit. Sidney was very friendly, personable, professional and answered all of our questions to the best of his ability. I recommend him when going to look at vehicles cause he makes you feel at home and like you've been friends with him forever. After we decided on the vehicle we wanted we were waiting inside to get the paperwork going and the GM T, came over to introduce himself to us. I have already left a review on Google but realized people on yelp deserve to see this as well. If you plan to buy a newer vehicle I would steer clear of this place. Its not just because they try to scam you by pushing for completely unnecessary dealer add ons that are overpriced, they straight up lied to me. I wanted to buy a 2027 telluride and I stated that I don't do dealer add ons. I clearly asked if they have mandatory add ons to which the agent said they do not. Im later in the process given a price with all add ons included for the vehicle. When I asked for them removed I was told they wont sell it unless I get add ons(remember I was told no mandatory add ons at the start of this experience). I was at this point mentally checked out but just to see if asked if I could get it with just 1 add on, the cheapest one. I was denied this as well and told If I do one add on I woukd have to get the ceramic coating(most expensive one and incredibly overpriced). This loser lied to me. This loser turned down a 15k down-payment backed by a 800 credit score because he was greedy. I guess he was that confident he could sell the vehicle to someone else naive for more money. Oh. My. GAWD! I have an update that's been six years in the making. I decided to trade in the Kia Soul I purchased brand-new from Towbin Kia in 2018...and the title came up DIRTY! The mileage was incorrect on the DMV paperwork when it was registered to me, but who, you ask, filled out that paperwork? Someone at Towbin Kia. Now there's no way to correct it, and it must be disclosed to any other potential buyer. For the life of the vehicle. So I ended up having to trade it in because I am uncomfortable with trying to find someone to buy a car with a dirty title. Just to put things into perspective, the Kelley Blue Book trade-in value for a 2019 Kia Soul with only 36,000 miles on it is almost $9,000, but I had to take $5,900 for mine, and it's definitely better than the "fair" condition I put in for the KBB estimate for the sake of this review. Unfortunately, that positive impression disappeared the moment an issue came up. Only 13 days after purchase, the check engine light came on. The diagnosis was a faulty PCV valve, something that absolutely does not fail overnight. Even though the vehicle was sold "as-is," selling a car that develops a major engine issue within two weeks shows a serious lack of proper inspection or transparency. I contacted the dealership immediately on November 26. I left a message for Ricky or the used car manager. No response. I called back two hours later and was told they were "busy." I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the holiday, but Friday passed with no call, and Monday passed with still no manager available. I had to keep calling them -- not the other way around. When I finally spoke with Nick, the best he could offer was "maybe" assisting with a portion of the repair -- despite the issue showing up almost immediately after the sale. He transferred me to Service but dropped off the call, leaving me to repeat everything again. Service couldn't even give me a ballpark estimate unless I physically drove the car to Henderson -- despite me explaining that I live across town in the northwest and don't feel safe driving a vehicle with an active check-engine light that far. I asked to speak with Nick again to find another solution but was on hold for a while till I decided to call again with no luck other than having to leave a message again. The contrast is obvious: When you're buying a car, the service is exceptional. When you have a problem right after purchase, the support completely disappears. This had to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had buying a car. I walked in on July 2, Malachai helped me. He was a usual sales guy selling stuff, but he listened to me in the end. Chris I think , the finance guy. After a few rebuttals also listened. Showed me what I wanted with two add ons then offered to take it off but I still decided to leave. I had plans on going to centennial Kia BUT decided that Malachai was actually kind, so I went in. I was the first on the lot on July 3 2026. Malachai was not coming in for a while so Dan (I believe, he was bald) offered to help. MALACHAI DO NOT LET HIM HELP YOU AGAIN. I had check preapproved in hand. I said my set number with my negative equity and i said no add ons please. HE BOUGHT BACK A SHEET FULL OF ADD ONS. One of which was a 995 GPS tracking which the day before was 665. Then the added warranty was 3,002. AND my car was valued at Carmax at 5K but they took it to 3.5k . I asked why and he said he because it was evaluated online. I said well if that was going to be the case if the number was not going to be honored why would they let me do the appraisal online?? I took pictures. So then i mark off all the add ons and he says, "even if I take them off its not going to do much " However i counted thousands of dollars of add ons and it went from 52k to 47k . Surprise. I still said that's not the number I asked for I can't budge more ( I didnt mind budging a little but when someone is blatantly not listening to you, you want to leave.) So i said please stop bringing me sheets . So i asked for my keys and left. I took it to Jim Marsh Kia. They honored my CarMax, and we met at a perfect price, we worked with each other, and they listened the first time. One more thing because I didn't want to show him my check, I didn't because car salesman like to inflate the price to match the check. I instantly felt like he did not take me seriously. even when I had all my numbers together. I left there at 10 am and I was in my new Sorento by noon at Jim Marsh. I had (2) point of sales people that I worked with to find my 4th car; VIP sales Aaliyah & Tee (Finance). After briefly discussing some of my reservations about purchasing my 4th vehicle and Tee taking the time to explain and offer his apologies, I gave them a chance to earn my business. I found a G80 Genesis and test drove it and really liked it. Everything from the start to end was smooth and non stressful. Like most people, I hate the sales process and the forced conversation to build rapport. All in all I was in and out in about 2 hours. I received a voucher and made an appointment to come in on Saturday afternoon to check out their inventory. My husband and I went in and we were immediately greeted by two friendly receptionists. She looked up who my salesman would be by my phone number. Our salesman was great. His name is Bailey. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He made the process easy and without any problems. My husband and I took the Niro out for a test drive with Bailey. It was a good experience. We took the Niro out on the freeway too. Update: I tried to give toe in another chance. I took my car in for a warranty repair leaking head gasket. Then I noticed I was burning a lot of oil. I took it back paid for an oil change and told them about the oil loss. They told me the car is old and is having blow by. Fast forward a month later. My car breaks down I have it towed to the nearest shop. The mechanic inspected it and said I need to replace the valve cover gasket cause who ever replaced the valve cover gasket didn't replace the spark plug gasket which comes in the kit. So that leak caused my coils and spark plugs to get flooded with oil. I tried to call and the manager won't call me back. BUYER BEWARE don't buy an extend warranty from them. Don't have them service your car. They do shit work and the customer service sucks. I will post my receipts shortly so the world can see the dates, the notes and what towbins failed warranty repair ended up costing me. Some may ask if I tried to call them when the car broke down. I did. They told me I would have to have the car towed on my own dime and would have to pay for what ever repairs needed to be made cause now the car was out of warranty. I recognize that car dealers incentivize their sales people to get the sale quickly. For those of us who want to look at vehicles do some research and shop around this doesn't work too good. But for the most part after making this clear most dealership sales personnel understand and relax. Who we had an awful experience with one salesman who became very frustrated and angry that we weren't going to buy a car from him even after explaining we were still shopping. Honestly his voice and mannerisms and physical gestures would have led me to believe I was about to be assaulted if it weren't for the fact that we were in public. This sounds like an overstatement but it was very very uncomfortable. And unprofessional. And rude. I stayed pretty calm. I told him Chris if you keep pressuring me like this I will take my business elsewhere. His response to that was not very good either. So that's what I did purchased it at elsewhere. In reality we were sold on the vehicle just just needed a little more time. We were likely a day or two and the next visit away from buying it. A lot of people there seem nice this may have been an exception or the guy may have been having a bad day. But the experience was troubling. A few months later I'm still troubled by it. The only pro was our salesman, I forgot his name but he was very nice. Anyway, after hours of haggling, ROBERTO, the sales manager came to us trying to get us to sign off on a 2019 Kia Sorento for $953 a month with TWO thousand down. Granted, our credit isn't great but it isn't shot to hell either. My mind was made up, a HARD NO but my husband was entertaining it. I told him that is ridiculous. I told Roberto that was insane and out of our budget. He said "let me see what I can do." He came back and said "congratulations, you can hit the gong. You were approved for $933 a month." Wow. A whopping 20 dollar difference. I said "no, I want the note to be 400 or under a month." He basically laughed in my face and said "it's not 2015. You won't find a third row suv for that price." I politely went outside and waited for my husband. Guess what? The next day, we went to another dealership and I got a 2019 THIRD ROW SUV for $357 a month. We stumbled upon this lot as we've been looking at multiple dealerships for a new car. Something felt different about Towbin Kia. The first guy who greeted us was polite, friendly, and helpful. Wish we got his name but he was fun to talk to! (I found out from the website that his name is Tranel!) He helped us the same day, with no appointment, and introduced us to Sina, our sales guy, who took us to the cars we wanted to look at. Sina was very knowledgeable, personable, and knew his stuff. He gave us time to look at the cars and test drive them (because we truly only wanted to see them and think of our options which we've been visiting other dealerships too) and he was one of the best people we've stumbled upon yet. You can tell he cares and isn't pushy at all. The dealer only had a few options for us but when it all came down to color somehow Sina pulled out all the stops and found the one we felt was made for us. It was a more upgraded version and we were just mind blown that we couldn't have turned away from this opportunity. Our experience with him made car buying a whole new experience for us and we would recommend him to anyone. After we came to a deal and rang the gong, Chop was in the house and shook our hands and we just were so excited to have our new dream family car! I left my vehicle on a Thursday for maintenance and two recalls i wasn't offered a loaner due to the job not being big. The next two days were met with unexpected delays on parts that progressed into my vehicle being held for a week and two days at the dealership. I even let them hold it for one more day to get paid for warranty job (Asked by my service advisor) i agreed only to get my vehicle back with nearly no gas and a part scraping the road as if someone took a joy ride in my vehicle. I was offered a discount on said part but was never called again or givin a survey report on my experience which was terrible i will never return to towbin kia. I'm convinced these people don't really want to sell cars, either that or they're intimidated by people who come in here fully aware of all the shady fees they're going to try to sneak into your vehicle purchase. In all my experiences with car dealerships, this place has to be one of the absolute worst in communication and misrepresentation. Let's assume you've found a car you like. You let them run your credit. Your salesperson goes up to the magic desk with some guy who is too cool to deal with you, so your salesperson morphs into a messenger. They return with the itemized breakdown sheet showing various down payment options and payment plans. Whatever you do, do not accept this deal, this initial offering is in their favor. Start looking at the addons that are stuck onto this sheet: The $500 "GPS Tracking" fee that is stuck onto your new car, have them remove the fee, or walk. The ability to track your car, remote start, etc via this device requires a separate paid subscription - and you may not be told this. You're paying for a device that requires a yearly payment to use that you might not even want. The "Desert Package" they will throw on for 4k? It's a sham. Have them remove it or walk. Another $1,000 for "Polysteel". Google it. It's a total rip-off. Have them remove it or walk. "Red Alert", $700 addon. Again, Google it, it is a blinking rear tail light. Remove or walk. Watch out for them to sneak in the extended service contracts and GAP. That car that you thought was $25k is suddenly closer to $37k. If they don't negotiate, LEAVE and go to a different dealership. If you let them dictate the terms, you're going to get taken for a ride. *edit* Along with the public response from Alicia I did receive a private message as well which at least shows they're trying to improve. I have already purchased elsewhere but these addon shenanigans is not a big secret and not exclusive to this dealership. Do not succumb to the "what can we do to earn your business today?" line, if they ask this question, simply ask for 50% off otherwise you'll come back after you think it over. The longer it takes you to buy, the more time you have to do more research and make a SOUND decision, ** they don't want this **. At this point you haggle, get on the internet and search out each and every item they're sticking a price on that's increasing the vehicle price. Search every other Kia dealership's website not only in Vegas but in Arizona, Utah and California. Make them earn your business and be willing to go elsewhere if they won't. read more
