    Here's Charlie.

    Charlie is a literal asshole. There is more than just my complaint on him and it's unfortunate that he's still employed with the kind of "customer service" he provides. He showed severe ignorance, disrespect, and plain inhumanity. I will never recommend this specific Midas to ANYONE solely based on Charlie. He charged my mother $200 and never even did a diagnostic on her vehicle nor did he explain what the $200 charge was for. He followed my mother and brother out of the store yelling rude/racial slurs, they are black and he is a Caucasian man. He replaced my mothers brand new battery as well as her spark plugs with rigid ones which in result made her car not start. He told her she has to pay $4,962.26 to "dissect" her engine when there was in fact NOTHING wrong with her engine, but her purge valve which has absolutely nothing to do with the engine. Thanks to JIM, she got her issues resolved at a different Midas on Sunset but even then, the way Charlie had my mother crying from his rudeness, we will not be returning here. This service was completely ridiculous and inhumane. I know reviews get read by someone, so Charlie, THATS WHAT WE THOUGHT.

    Needed an oil change and stumbled upon Midas as it was near my work. I called ahead and Chadd said to come on in and he would get me right in. And he did! Easy check in and the technician got started right away. I appreciate the explanation of my service and great area inside their waiting room to work while waiting for my service. Great location with restaurants and things to do nearby. They pulled the car right up to me and thanked me for coming in. Great service. Great details. Great team! I will be back again for future services.

Once they checked it they said the water pump is leaking. I asked them why didn't they tell me it was leaking before they fixed my gas blank they told me nothing was wrong with it before but now it is. How?? I only drove it less than 10miles! They wanted to charge me another 1k ! How do they fix a leak and give back the car with a brand new leak? I told them if they can please see if we can work something out because it was strange that all of a sudden it has a new problem. They said they'd get back to me.     I'm writing this review based on an experience I had about a year ago that still stands out as one…read moreof the most disappointing service encounters I've ever had. I brought my car in for a routine oil change and was told they did not have the correct oil filter for my vehicle. I was specifically advised to go to the O'Reilly Auto Parts right down the street, purchase the filter myself, and come back--at which point they said they could complete the service. I did exactly that and returned within about 15-20 minutes. When I came back, the staff seemed almost surprised that I had actually followed their recommendation and returned. At that point, I was put into a bay. While sitting in my car, I could hear an impact driver repeatedly hammering underneath, which immediately raised concerns. It sounded like something was being forced rather than carefully removed. A few minutes later, I was told that they "couldn't remove the oil filter cover" because it had supposedly been stripped by the previous shop that serviced my vehicle. This explanation did not align with my prior service history--no shop had ever mentioned an issue with the oil filter housing before. Based on what I heard and observed, it strongly felt like the damage occurred during this visit, yet responsibility was shifted elsewhere. What made this experience especially frustrating was the overall impression that they may not have been familiar or comfortable with servicing my specific vehicle, but instead of being upfront about that, a series of excuses followed. First, I was told they didn't have the filter, which felt like it may have been expected to end the visit entirely. When I returned with the correct part, the situation quickly escalated into mechanical "issues" that had never existed before, followed by blame being placed on a previous shop. The sequence of events gave me the clear impression that they did not know how to properly perform the oil change on my car but were unwilling to say so directly. Because I was concerned about my oil level, I asked if they could at least top off my oil. I was told they would do this free of charge. However, I never saw oil added, and nothing was communicated to confirm it was done. I left feeling uneasy and ended up checking and topping it off myself afterward. At my next oil change, a different shop confirmed that the oil filter housing was stripped. They were able to remove it but strongly advised replacement at the next service. That replacement ended up costing me $50 out of pocket--a problem I never had prior to this visit. Between the lack of professionalism, questionable handling of my vehicle, shifting blame, and failure to perform even the promised oil top-off, this experience left me with serious concerns about honesty, competence, and vehicle safety. I also believe I incurred a $50 expense that I should not have had to pay. I would strongly advise others to be cautious here, especially if you care about your vehicle being handled carefully and transparently.
