Unfortunately, the repair ended up taking an additional 1.5 hours because the parts that arrived were incorrect or defective. I wished they had called me as soon as they found out about the delay. I understand that mistakes can happen and that the parts supplier may have been responsible. My disappointment wasn't the delay itself per se--it was how the situation was handled. The unexpected delay forced me to change my plans for the day. I politely asked whether they could offer any type of courtesy credit or even a coupon toward a future service in recognition of the inconvenience. The owner declined, stating that it "was not our fault" because the issue was with the parts supplier. While that may be true, as the customer, I chose Midas--not the parts supplier. I wasn't asking them to accept blame for the supplier's mistake; I was hoping they would show some goodwill for the significant inconvenience caused during my visit. The repair itself appears to have been completed successfully, and I appreciate the technicians' work. However, customer service is about how a business responds when things don't go as planned. In this case, I left feeling that my time and inconvenience were not valued. It was my first time using Midas. Unfortunately it may be my last one. So much for the Midas touch.

Both were very low pressure and quick to help answer questions, provide recommendations, etc. They let us browse in peace, did check in on us in a non-obtrusive way, and made the buying process pretty painless and no frills. Yes it is a dealership, so the ability to cut deals is minimal, they do try to tack on extras but a simple no gets those removed without any hassle or pushiness, and there is a bit of time involved mostly due to financing and them doing the final bike stuff to get it ready to ride out. All things that you should expect, so nothing came at a shock or had us frustrated. I don't feel like we got scammed, just make sure you know what to expect. I do prefer Carter over the other dealerships in town.

Aggressive approach, telling me "man to man" "I know you are a nice guy, I am a nice guy" lingo, a BIG turn off to begin with (as I have known him 60 seconds on the phone at that point)! He then says what can we do to close the deal? He gives me his number like I am deaf and repeats it with his "man to man" lingo. So I answered his question, match the ad. I brought in my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire in for a throttle position sensor code. They also did a flashlight courtesy inspection on my vehicle where they did find a couple of items that needed attention. With precision, they troubleshot my throttle position sensor code down to my vehicle accelerator pedal. The pedal needed to be removed and replaced. They gave me a very fair estimate on the cost for repair, but to my utter surprise it was actually $200 cheaper than what they estimated. Never ever seen that before, where you come in and you pay lower than what was estimated. They definitely know how to build loyalty. I will now be a loyal customer to Cars Nv for my maintenance needs. Another thing, I got my car back cleaner than when I brought it in, and the old part was bagged in plastic and sitting on the passenger side floor. I love this family run business. I actually thought to myself what the heck, why not? So i agreed on a date to stop by. From beginning to end i was very impressed with both Eduardo Cortez (salesman) and Chad Bolinol (Sales Manager). When i agreed to come in I was immediately offered a ride with UBER and they also asked me for my order for a Starbucks drink that they will have ready when i arrive. Wow. Just wow. Not pushy. Not irritating. Just POLITE. I've had some bad experiences with car salesman and these 2 have totally redeemed them all lol. I was shown a few Acura's (btw, cant stop thinking about those cars) and also test drove a few. I had it towed to Rigo's shop on a Friday night and met with him Saturday morning. This trip is a scavenger hunt type race from Eugene to Ensenada in cars we purchase for less than 3k. We were in a crunch to get the van repaired or replaced and continue on in time with the other teams. Well this is where Rigo and his team came in. I had a day for him to replace or rebuild the transmission. Honestly, he didn't have time to do complete our job but after talking to his guys he said they would check it out. I was so worried we would at minimum spend another night in Vegas while the other teams continued on and at worse need to fly home. With that being said, I wish that my initial car windshield replacement went smoother. My car needed calibration, so I had to bring it in versus being able to use their mobile services. The first time there was a defect in the glass that was causing a leak inside. The second time I brought it in, they repaired the leak versus replacing the windshield so it still had the visible defect. Third time is a charm I guess! But the important part is that it was made right, so I updated my review to reflect accordingly. Many team members reached out to make this right and I really appreciate the effort.
