    January 12, 2023 - My apologies I was supposed to write this review on January 7, 2023 when we did receive service. Unfortunately due to some health issues, I had to wait to write my first review. I was so excited because our year started with a few bumps, but it's much better now. This store, was recommended to us and I appreciate great recommendations. Thanks to a broken foot and stick shift that is what brought us here. January 4, 2023, my other half broke his foot at work and his truck is stick shift (there are not many people that can drive these vehicles). I had told him before that it was hard to shift because the gears were sticking. On top of that issue one of the tires had a slow leak, that's another story. January 6, 2023 we went to this location to see if they could help us and yay they did. Tim the Manager was such a great help and so knowledgeable. We did have to wait because the lift that was needed was being used. Long story short, they are trustworthy, reliable, honest and caring, yes, meaning they wouldn't want the people they care about to be unsafe and spend unnecessary money on things that can be fixed at a different time. They take that one little extra step that gives you peace of mind. Tim, Brandon and the rest of this awesome crew I greatly appreciate your service. I saw a family oriented environment and very organized and respectful. They take the time to explain anything regarding your vehicle, if they see other issues they explain options and try to help you see what would work best for you. Saturday, January 7, 2023 it took all day to fix the problem and they even worked after they closed to fix our vehicle. It was such a relief to change gears smoothly the way it should. I was able to meet one of the owners and the district manager (female), she was out there helping the guys. I appreciated the fact that I don't see many women in this field, so for me this made me smile. Customer Service is very important to me. Teamwork makes a business run and Quality work definitely shows when pride is taken. These were reasons that made me so excited to write this first 2023 review. Thank you again for such amazing service. As always stop by and see Tim and his awesome crew for car care needs that they provide. I truly saw and understood "The Midas Touch" and I was so satisfied that they made my year start out on a good foot!

    This is the gear shifter they installed. They didn't even bother to put it back into position. It still does not work!

    Please don't take your vehicle to a demolition specialist! If you can't watch them work, they become complacent. When you request a specific service, the manager patronizes you. Their objective is to reach their sales quota. When I addressed the manager and mechanic about their ability to be proficient with my car, they started using profanity and did not take ownership of their mistakes. Instead, the manager blamed his circumstances and left me with an expensive bill. The owner could not explain why her mechanics had begun working before giving a diagnostic. When I brought my car in, it was running. When I picked up my car, I had it towed. They might forget to change your oil and charge you for it! This shop should be out of business and commission immediately!

    I came here to get an Uber inspection. The receptionist insisted that my car was too old despite what the Uber website says, and acted very discontent about doing the inspection. I guess they didn't see an opportunity to charge me an arm and a leg so they saw me as a nuisance.. that's my guess so out the door I went a potential customer. I drove down here after calling ahead just to waste my time. I don't understand why they would want Miss Bah humbug to be the first face customer saw. This is why I don't like these chain store mechanics because they treat you like you're in Walmart. So I went straight to the Uber inspection station on Decatur and they passed my car without issue. They had a great attitude despite working outside in 100° weather. I asked them what Midas problem was and they said Midas didn't know what they were talking about. My question would be if they don't know what they're talking about with Uber then why would they know what they were talking about as far as car repairs.

After paying and picking up my vehicle, it didn't even last 3 miles before the check engine light and multiple warning lights came back on. I called immediately and was told to bring it back. The very next morning, the truck wouldn't start again. When I contacted the shop, they couldn't even help with a tow, forcing me to pay out of pocket just to get it back to them. Once it was there, the communication was nonexistent. No updates, no calls--nothing. I had to chase them down myself. After being told I'd get a callback (which never happened), I called again before closing and was suddenly told I now needed to pay another $1,300 for a fuse box. So after charging me $1,400 for a "fix," they completely missed another major issue? That should have been identified from the start. When I questioned it, I got no clear explanation, no accountability, and zero empathy. Just another bill. This place seems more interested in getting more money out of you than actually fixing your vehicle correctly the first time. Poor communication, careless diagnostics, and no customer care. Take your business somewhere else.
