Poor customer service, unreliable staff who seem totally unaware of what is going on in the company. Booked an appointment several days advance for service. When I arrived they said they didn't have an appointment and then went and found appointment only to say that they emailed to cancel appointment (which they had not). I drove an hour for the service and took time off work. The only options they could provide were to have me drive 3 more hours and take off work again. Further, staff assisting claimed to be GM but then in the next breath indicated he was unable to contact owner, so either he was lying about position or about ability to resolve the issue. Either way unreliable & unable to tell the truth becomes a no go in my book and a very bad option for service when there are so many other great conpanies in the area. read more

This is the only place I trust with my car. I've gone to a few different places around town and always get the run around or overcharged. That don't BS you or change up prices between the quotes and them finishing the service. I recently dropped my car off after having it break down and they got the issue fixed plus they were able to do my maintenence within the same day. I didnt have my car serviced here but i was coming out the mexican restaurant next to this business and the guy with big dreds tied at the top of his head was at a customers car talking so aggressive and being very rude and disrespectful to the lady until he made her cry. She called him a manager i think. He then made some threat to her which i couldnt hear. If that guy is a store manager talking to customers like that no one should have to deal with the struggle of their car needing fixed with anyone talking to them like that on top of that. I hope he doesnt run that store. He needs some character training. I wouldn't bring my car here if it broke down next door!! read more

Midas is definitely an outstanding device shop and I have been using them for two years for everything I have needed for the last two years. These guys are awesome! I am just passing through Augusta and my Salli's idiot light went on and she was running a little rough. So, I pulled in for a tire rotation and for them to see why engine light was on. l hesitated to go to Midas because the one in my town has a terrible reputation. Well, let me tell you, this old lady couldn't be happier. After hooking her up to the computer and about 15 minutes of troubleshooting, they found the problem using old fashioned mechanical smarts. The bill was absolutely fair and honest. You guys in Augusta are so lucky to have this garage in your town. read more

Received great service for both oil changes and brake overhaul. Prices are very reasonable and the waiting area is clean and comfortable. Upgraded air conditioner, cable TV, coffee stand fresh magazines, and comfortable seats. The restroom is clean, unisex, w/ a bolt type lock. An operations and reception lady is there to interface w/ the customer. When she's not talking with customers she's conducting telephonic follow-ups on work completed. I returned two months later and the head mechanic/manager greeted me and actually remembered me and recalled unique points of prev conversations and service completed. My brakes were reinspected while my oil change was being done. Additional plus: located on Washington Road across from Five Guys Burgers and Fries, and a few minutes from the movie theater, Hooters, Carrabbas, Books-A-Million, and a mix of other biz.. Note: decided to switch from Jiffy Lube to MIDAS, because Jify Lube was missing things, and becomming more expensive. read more

Still here hours after my appointment time for a simple 5 qt oil change. I will never return to this facility. There are like 4 steps to an oil change what could possibly take this long. To bad you can't give less than one star. If you like spending a lot of time with strangers that are stuck a small room for hours, then this is the place for you, but if you have things to do at some point during your day, week elsewhere for your auto mantinece needs. This better be the best 3 HOUR oil change ever. read more

Friendly people and great service. I didnt feel like they found problems just to sell me something like a lot of mechanics shops.

I would've give them no stars if I was allowed to. I had an appointment and they said it would take about 45 minutes to change my oil. An hour later they didn't even have my car up on the lift. I could've taken it to the dealership and saved time and had a better waiting room. The waiting room was nasty, noisy small and with no coffee or water. I had to spend 2 1/2 hours in this hell hole. This is the absolute last time I ever use Midas for anything. If you choose to go to this service station, be prepared to wait a very long time. read more
