Beacon got this fixed on Jan 22 when most shops were closed!

They opened at 10am despite the snow. Got the tire fixed so I could move the car. THANKS Jeff!

Driver side rear lower control arm bolt. Old original non adjustable part. This will NOT retain alignment .

Had my Chevy in for a crank relearn, 6.0 Chevy gas check engine light flashes at highway speed, a common symptom for an experienced mechanic to recognize the issue. Well computer told them multiple misfires etc in spite of the truck running smooth. After 2 hours of the "mechanic" ehm.. remapping plugs to the wrong gap and insisting it was correct he managed to put 3 plugs in gapped .20 different than what the rest were, truck was still flashing code at highway speed and engine analyzer still reading multiple codes, finally after an hour and a half I asked if he did the relearn crank, a 15 minute task, he hadn't, I told him nicely to do it, he finally did and codes were better but not all gone, I paid and drove my truck home with a severe misfire, I regapped 2 of the plugs to the correct spec and had to replace the 3rd plug as he broke the core. The truck returned to running smoothly and the highway check engine flashing ceased. Had he simply had more knowledge and less reliance on plug and play it would have saved me time and money. Consumers should never pay for inexperience with either time or money. The folks there are nice enough so I took my new truck there for an alignment... I had to bring the required parts or they would have had to order them and since I was scheduled to be out of state with the truck they had an opening on a Friday after lunchtime. F-150s are not adjustable without replacing the factory lower control arm bolts. I bought the parts , they had difficulty doing the alignment ... "several techs are working on it" , after 2 + hours the truck was ready, I was given a sheet to sign off that the alignment was "within" specs. I've learned since then that that's meaningless. The truck has a light pull to the left and you can visually see the driver side front wheel camber is slightly off, today I went under the truck and found that on the passenger side the 2 bolt kit was installed correctly, on the driver side they only installed half of the kit and put the stock bolt back in. I never received the portion of the new kit that was NOT installed nor the bolts that came with the truck. I think between both experiences I'd recommend you go elsewhere.

I've taken about a year to ponder over leaving a review or not…read more Me as a person: Naive, trusting, mid-20's, knowing nothing about cars. Issue: My 2014 Kia refuses to drive over 45 miles per hour. Jiffy Lube: "We cannot work on a car that has the engine light flashing" I coast down the hill to a place that has "Christian" in the title. Naive, naive, naive. The place is willing to look at my car that day. Wonderful. It's the morning. They'll let me know when they're done. I walk all over Evans since it's a lovely day. They have my car past 5:00. So it's been... 6-7 hours. Luckily I didn't have work. Finally I wait in the building so I don't get locked out past closing time. Eventually, I'm told "You're going to need an entirely new engine. Your car isn't safe to drive." I'm shaken. I had just bought the car less than 3 months ago. I ask if they know any tow truck services they trust so I can take my car home, as I was a pharmacy technician at the time and flat broke. I had spent that March through August walking everywhere I needed, so I just accepted my fate of walking everywhere once more until I could figure out how to save for a multi-thousand dollar fix. The person at the front desk then says "Oh, it's not serious enough that you need a tow." My inner dialogue went "Hm.. but you just said my engine needs to be replaced. My car isn't safe to drive... why WOULDNT I need a tow truck?" So I pay the $91 diagnostic fee on my credit card, a bit dumbfounded that $100, which was the equivalent to working 6 hours overtime at my full time job to afford the service, fixed nothing. My engine is to give out at any second, but I'm okay to drive home? Quite embarrassed, I called my veteran friend who came over that afternoon, ran a test on his diagnostic machine, and asked if I hit a bump recently. I did. He told me I had activated some sort of knock sensor when I did that, which then activated a safety mechanism, which was why my car wouldn't go over 45. He cleared the code on his device, and my car was magically fixed :) A year later, my car is still running great. No further issues. So I recommend avoiding this place. My friend fixed the issue in five minutes for the price of a thank you coffee while this establishment took an entire business day to attempt to scam me into buying a whole new engine without clearing the code to allow me to safely drive home until I could afford their "fix." Anyone who knows the driving culture in Augusta would understand that driving under 45 is dangerous business around all the irritated, impatient car-owners in this city. I don't appreciate anyone who uses scare tactics to uneducated, trusting people. It's embarrassing to be treated as if I'm stupid when in reality, I never had a father to show me how to run simple tests on my car to try and resolve issues myself. Rather shameful to lure people in with Christian decor when taking advantage of people in my opinion, but that's just my thoughts.
