I've always understood that if you move forward with the repair, the diagnostic fee is typically applied or waived, but that wasn't the case here. The $350 for the transmission fluid flush itself seemed reasonable, but adding the $160 on top of that for such a simple diagnosis didn't sit right. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not one that left me feeling great either.

Needless to say, we voiced our disapproval and left. Upon arriving home, we received a call in which they apologized for not communicating the changes with us in line with their standard business practices. They explained this is not how they built their reputation and promptly refunded our credit card. I took my Jeep here without an appointment to have them look at my blower connector. They no longer…read moremake the connector, but the service tech said he could get the part from the junk yard. Unfortunately, I need to replace the blower motor, resistor, and the connector. They offered the cheapest fix so far. The Jeep dealership wanted to charge me for a whole new wire harness because they don't make the connector anymore. Getting the used part will save me a lot of money. The employees are nice and seem trustworthy. I'll be taking my Jeep back to Tyler for the repairs.
