They are very fraudulent, they will take your money and allow your car to sit up for MONTHS!! We paid our money up front for an engine, they kept the car claiming to do so much extra work trying to get more money from GM .. so many text messages stating they were working on getting "funds released" for customer satisfaction since it went way past the deadline for the car to be fixed shirley claims the car was finished with a "NEW engine , Throttle Bottle , Sparks , Etc the list goes on"..... All for the (REAL) GM (General Motors) to say these folks aren't in there authorized dealers, that they hadn't had any communication with Precision Tune Auto. she also gave me "fake tracking numbers" to a "check" that supposedly had both our names on it ...... she also gave " fake case numbers from GM" to make it look like cases were created and they was NOT They have had my car since late February, early March and on today August 9,2025 ... my car has never been touched !!! The last time that I needed an oil change I went to the Precision Tune Auto Care on Wrightsboro Rd. and I thought they were trustworthy so I was planning on going back to that location--until I realized that there was a location right in Martinez! I pulled into the lot around lunch time and asked if I needed an appointment to get an oil change or if I could just drop in and the sweet woman at the desk let me know that while walk-ins were normally fine my current wait time would be about two hours. She asked if I could come back around 1:45pm and where I live right around the corner I could! When I came back she took my keys and got my car started--I also let her know that I might need a new air filter (because when I got it changed last on Wrightsboro Rd. I was shown just how terrible my filter looked--I didn't get it changed because I hadn't budgeted for it. This time I did.). The wait wasn't too bad and there were quite a few people that came through--so it was nice to people watch and read. When my car was ready she told me the total and I was a little surprised, the cost for an air filter wasn't included unless the Yelp check-in got me more of a discount on that. When I asked she told me that my filter was clear and I hadn't needed one (Hmm...Wrightsboro Rd. location...). I will be back, I trust them a little more (especially when she was honest about what care I should look into for my car and what things [because of the age] should be okay to leave alone). I probably won't go back to the Wrightsboro Rd. location again though, just because of the air filter thing. And shoot--I wish that their front office woman gave classes on car care, she wasn't working back there but she answered more questions from customers than the guys that came through. Military Friendly- Worked Quickly to Help PCS Vehicle: 2011 F150 King Ranch V6 4WD When I was shipping my vehicle OCONUS for a PCS move, my vehicle failed inspection because the E-brake wouldn't hold when I "gave it gas". Regardless of this ridiculous standard set by the VPC, I needed to get my E-brake fixed/tightened up so that I could PCS and get the hell out of dodge. It was a 4-day weekend, midst of the pandemic and supply chain issues, and almost every shop was either (1) booked up or (2) were missing the parts needed to completely replace my e-brake system. After going through the entire Yelp Phonebook, I called this Precision Auto Tune location and they told me they understood the importance of my military PCS move and to come in first thing Monday morning. I came in, and they quickly identified how they could best assist me given the limited time and parts. They: (1) Adjusted my parking-brake cables multiple times, (and tested them) to get the best performance out of them w/o causing additional Wear and tear. (2) Fixed the spring on my parking break lever so that it would fully retract when I released it. (3) Put new cuffs on to replace the worn out, rusted ones that might've been causing problems. (4) Successfully ID'd the cause of my long-lasting TPMS light issue. (TPMS batteries were dead). They did all of this same day and had me out of there by 2PM. Not only did they take the time and effort to help me last minute, but they explained the reasoning behind everything and didn't try to convince me to replace my perfectly good Parking Break Cables (unlike other repair shops had). On top of this, they tested my vehicle multiple times and gave me small-but significant military discount! --- Vehicle passed inspection with flying covers, despite the VPC idiocy of testing an E-brake up to 1000RPM. I'm very thankful for the team at this location and the service they provided me, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good people. read more

Came in to get a lil change and have some other stuff looked at that was under warranty and after 4 hrs the oil wasn't changed and they charged us $35 for it and then took another 30 min to change the oil. Bad business ethics wont deal with them again. read more

Absolutely terrible! We went in for an oil change, and we asked if they could see why the air conditioning wasn't working and they said it would cost $400 to fix plus we needed an air filter which was $17 so we said no that's too much just do the oil change and the air filter. When we go to check out they charged us $60 to see why the AC wasn't working and then $40 for the freaking air filter! We should have left paying $44 and they charged $140! NEVER GO HERE! Not only did they happily agree, they replaced both blades in about 2 minutes and when I asked what I owed them, they simply said "No charge. Come see us again!" What genuinely nice people! The staff is very friendly and honest and knows me by name when I walk in the door. My family and I have been using Precision Tune for the past year or two, never have we had a bad experience. On my most recent visit I asked to have my alignment checked thinking that was my issue. Turns out it was something completely different which the staff relayed to me and didn't even charge me for the alignment. NO STARS. The "professionals" at this Precision Tune performed a tuneup on a 13yo car without bothering to run a simple compression test before jumping right in to the job. They immediately blew cylinders 2 and 5, then blamed me saying they were just doing the work I asked for. I am not a mechanic, but I know now that when dealing with an older motor, one should be certain the machine is ready to be tweaked without causing further harm. I brought it back on three occasions before they either figured out what they had done to the car, or found the courage to tell me. Then, after admitting their mistake- though certainly not feeling it was their responsibility to make the situation right by doing any further work to repair the blown cylinders- they agreed to refund my entire bill. A week later I was mailed a check for HALF of my bill, and a lame excuse of a letter explaining again how it was really MY fault they ruined my father's '03 Lincoln Navigator with the wheelchair lift- his only means of transportation to Dr.s, etc. The manager/franchisee of this location lied to me by agreeing to refund my full amount when I was standing in his office, and in a cowardly fashion sent me a check for HALF of what he promised days later. I hope he finds himself on the receiving end of that kind of transaction someday, and that he feels a deep shame within himself for being such a complete tool. I WILL NEVER USE PRECISION TUNE AGAIN. Horrible service, very slow! Observed the technicians doing more standing around talking than working. Was quoted a time of 60 mins or less for a standard change. Needless to say it was more toward the 2 hour time frame. Only good thing about this place is the free coffee. People pay the extra 10 bucks and go to Jiffy Lube. However I will say that I don't really feel bad because it's 2 people here that was here before me. read more
