I give it 5 stars because there are sooooooo many electronic things here! Tons of different Phone cases, 3D Printers, Laptops, Keyboards and Headphones etc. So many brands here!! Full disclosure I am not tech savvy and I came here with my hubby...he's the tech savvy one. :) Price wise I can't tell you if they are more expensive or not. But I can say is...if you need something for your computer, this place should hopefully have it. This place reminds me of Fry's Electronics but 2.0...without those themed design in store. Like seriously there were tons to look at! No worries...there are workers here to help you if you have questions. They were very nice.

I make the trip to Micro Center once in a blue moon, and recently came here with my husband because he needed some thermal paste ASAP. We were hoping for more variety and higher quality options, but did manage to find an acceptable MX-4 one in a box of a bunch of random ones stored all together above the shelves where most of them were displayer. I think they have pretty decent pricing, came here once to take advantage of a really good deal for a 3D printer for like $100 and have gotten some decently priced filament here. Parking gets kind of tight on the weekends.

Cilantro key switches from akko!

Went in with my boyfriend for the second time looking for creamy switches for my keyboard and a gift for his friend. We were looking around for switches and keyboards when Caleb asked us if we had any questions, it was perfect timing! He quickly got to advising us on what switches make certain sounds and feels, and how many we needed:) He got the boxes for the proper amount like he read our minds! We ended up getting headphones as well, he told us which ones were wireless and wired, what we'd use them for, and different brands to choose from. It's almost like he knew exactly what we needed, both switches and headphones are perfect! Caleb if you're seeing this, you're great! Thank you for all your help.Keep it up:)

Located on Edinger and Del Amo Avenues with plenty of parking. This is the only full-on computer store that I know of, and I love having Micro Center around. Big selection of all computer parts, software, gaming supplies, electronics, printer ink, etc. My husband is a DIY computer enthusiast, so this is his go-to store. We've also ordered online and simply picked up at the store. They have a 'Build-Your-Own' area and a 'Tech-Bar' for computer support. Shout out to Baldwin, who assisted us on the floor. He was very attentive and helped us find the right computer parts with such a great attitude. Excellent customer service! It has always been a great experience here and will definitely return.

Thanks again guys! You helped me to build an awesome rig and I appreciate all the help along the way!

I wanted to express some appreciation for the Micro Center staff I have had the pleasure of interacting with over the past month for their knowledge, honesty, and dedication to what they do. This experience is something that the Big Box stores can't replicate, and something that is lost with online sales. No personal connection is made, no exchange of knowledge to be had. It was great to experience the opposite in store and be helped by such exemplary staff and they deserve all the recognition below: From sales, I wanted to highlight Matt Abele, who was the person who truly helped me the most. I came in and met Matt and told him the bundle deal I wanted, and he offered plenty of suggestions, tips, and insight along the way. One of the big things I referenced to him was my desire for a pricy 5080 series GPU, but Matt was very good at gauging what I was going to use the card for and knew I could save at least $400 with the 5070 Ti model, and was great at giving me all the highlights as to why. In that moment, Matt could have upsold me on something he'd make a better commission on, but he decided to remain honest and helpful, and it was much appreciated. He offered suggestions with regards to products I should incorporate into my build and items to look further into. Overall, he helped me to keep that fire burning to get the ball rolling on my new PC build and I cannot thank him enough for that. I wanted to also highlight Mario Gutierrez Jr who was helpful with an exchange I had from my transaction with Matt. Anyone reading this in 2026 knows the RAM crisis that exists, so I decided to try to Future Proof my build and upgrade to a new RAM package that was being offered with the same bundle I got 3 weeks previously. Mario was great at assisting with the transaction and even answering more questions I had with regards to the upgrade and other items I would want to come back for. Additionally from the PC parts sales section I wanted to highlight Daniel Nazeri. I had a very simple question for Daniel with regards to cooling fans and he was able to offer all answers necessary to make the most informed decision. I knew the fans I wanted were not in stock and apologized for inconveniencing him with questions that didn't lead to a sale, but I appreciate that regardless he still took the time to assist and wasn't bothered that I took 5-10 minutes of his time. In the monitors section, I wanted to highlight Diego Aguilar for again answering all my questions. I let Diego know I had purchased an OLED monitor elsewhere at a killer price, but I was still interested in a model that Micro Center had in stock. I asked him pros and cons for both the monitor I purchased and what they had available and asked him if I made the right choice or if I should move to the one in stock at Micro Center. Without hesitation, Diego made a pros and cons list for both items and honestly told me the deal I got elsewhere was excellent and the additional money on the different branded monitor wouldn't truly be worth it. Again, he could have made a commission or pressured me to buy something else, but he was forthcoming and honest and it is this type of interaction that will keep me loyal to Micro Center for the future. I also told Diego I wouldn't use Chat GPT to write this, so I wanted him to know I kept my promise :D And lastly, I wanted to shoutout cashier Brandon F. As mentioned above, I needed to make an exchange of some RAM I got on a previous visit for a new set. It was a very complex return as the whole package deal had to be returned and repurchased, and I know it would have bothered me personally to allocate 5-10 minutes to process something like this. I told Brandon multiple times if he needed to help other customers I was happy to wait, but he insisted that we could get it done. With some help from his management team, he was able to get everything squared away correctly and with a positive attitude. I appreciate his patience in this matter. These 5 gentlemen were very deserving of some praise and truly are shining stars at Micro Center. Knowing that of the 5 people I interacted with, all 5 generated a positive interaction, it instills confidence in me that there is little to nobody at Micro Center who I couldn't also have the same type of attentive and honest interaction with in the future. As stated above, online stores could never replicate this level of service, and for that reason I will continue to drive the hour+ it takes me to get to Micro Center as I know all my questions will be answered, I will get the most fair price, and I will get exactly what I came for.

No. They don't have electronic recycle unlike Best Buy or Apple. No trade in. That way, they can promote sales and force you to buy new parts.

No, there is no direct number because the store employees work off of commission. Also, the managers want to drive foot traffic to the store for sales.

Do you guys accept PayPal or other forms of payment?

The only form of payment they accept is cash, credit cards, and Tap to Pay.

Do you guys offer military discount?

They do not offer any military discount. The only discount they offer is for the Micro Center Insider Card and price match with competitors (has to be shipped and sold).

What days so they receive gpu shipments?

GPU shipments are random one of the managers decides on when to raffle them off. They are on a first-come, first serve basis via raffle system.

Are they open on Easter?

Micro Center is closed on Easter Sunday.

Ed, the owner of A-B & B Electronics, was the only one who I could find to work on my late 40's…read morePhilco. He had great reviews at the time, so I happily called him. I should've known on our first conversation, or should I say lack thereof, that it was going to become a nightmare. First of all, he doesn't concentrate on the conversation and what I am telling him. In addition, his phone keeps beeping for another call, so I'm continually put on hold. Again, good reviews and honestly, he seems like my last hope on the antique I've had setting for a few years now. He tells me to bring it to him. Well, it's in a unit. "I don't have room in my garage. You must disassemble." My husband isn't crazy about that, but we've waited a long time. So he does. Ed wants $40 to "look" at it. In the 13 months he had the pieces, turntable, amp, and radio, we hardly heard a peep. We had to continually call him for updates, going through the same pattern of terrible communication, phone beeping, put on hold or I'll call you back. I got so frustrated, I pleaded with my husband to take it over. He got so irritated , I had to take it back over because I thought we'll never get it back. Mind you, he's open until 6pm and only open until 1pm on Saturdays. Considering we live 45 minutes away w/out traffic and my husbands works til 5 pm M-F, quite an operation to accomplish. Thirteen long months later, pushing, pulling, scraping, mustering up every ounce of patience left, we picked it up. In the end he said the original turntable couldn't be fixed and ordered another on EBay and added 15%. Because everything is built in, we had to make a form for it to fit inside. So basically after all that, we got a turntable that worked but we would have to figure out how to put it all back together, apply it so it fit into the unit, because "he didn't have room for the cabinet" to do it himself. When I say fit, the phonograph is screwed to the door and the door opens forward to display the unit that has springs. The unit sat again for another four months while my husband gathered a plan. Well, yesterday, I had a girlfriend over. We appraised the situation together and after some grinding of metal, used the original form, screwed it all on and played my first record. Hallelujah! In closing, we paid nearly $345 dollars. Not exactly sure what we got for that except a lot of runaround. Didn't inform us he wanted cash until we were there for pick up. Wasn't going to credit the original $40 that was given as the initial deposit. Good thing I kept my original receipt. Overall, no matter how desperate, DON'T GO SEE ED. Terrible, the worst communication skills. Nobody needs that much aggrevation in their life. My husband and I still have PTSD and we appreciate each other more for our communication skills.

The only computer store I could find in the high desert was a Best Buy. I looked up the wattage I needed and figured 100W would be fine. Well, 100W was not enough for a high performance laptop like the Dell Precision 5690. The 100W got me through the day, however, I kept getting messages from my laptop power couldn't be optimized. A few weeks later, I found the boxed charger in my trunk and had forgotten to return or exchange. I decided to go to my local Best Buy in Costa Mesa to see if anything could be done. George in customer care and was so upbeat and friendly. I explained my situation and he carefully reviewed the package. He was curious to see what I was running since it seemed 100W would work on just about any laptop. He chuckled when I told him. I guess the man knew a little about laptops lol I SO appreciate his help as not only did he resolve my unfortunate situation, but did it with such care and style. I've purchased most of my electronics from Best Buy (last purchase was a nice 65in OLED LG tv which had great value with beautiful picture and sound). I will continue to do all my electronics shopping here because the customer service is second to none. Shout out to you, George. Thanks again! Plus, how can you not go to Best Buy when it's so nostalgic? I don't know how many hours I'd spend here checking out all the latest CDs and DVDs released. So many fond memories! Highly recommended.

So we are getting one refrigerator on Monday and the other one in 2 weeks.... They of course had no idea what went wrong or why they are telling me about this 48 hours before I am getting f my complete delivery. The worst part is they clearly don't care because they have no idea what customer service means and it's truly very unfortunate because they don't know how to take care and support their customers. Plus they will never respond to this review due to there lack off concern for the customer....

I came in one night . They had what I call an 'event' going on. Where ppl rushed on in to place an…read moreorder for pokemon cards. I came in an hour later after it initially started. Seemingly still made the cut to order. There was about 20 ppl in front of me. So as the line shortens and im getting closer and closer, I'm just on my phone, texting friends, being excited that I'm about to place an order for this very special set. The manager/supervisor, whose name is tony, comes around to the line and makes and announcement. Specifically stating that they will NOT place multiple orders for individuals. I paid no attention, it didn't apply to me. I had just got there 15 minutes ago and hadn't placed any order yet, I thought. Then tony looks at me and proceeds to tell me that I should leave and that he will not be taking my order. I didn't listen to him. There were only 4 ppl in front of me. I was almost there. Soon as I got in front of the cashier, tony comes rushing from around that corner and tells me he's not taking my order. I kept asking why so he tells me to talk to security or call corporate. I'm confused as fuck! Then the female cashier looks up my account and tells me that I've been buying from other stores and now that I can't buy from their store. So I'm asking myself, if I bought a tv from the other location, I can't buy another tv at this location?? I started to feel like tony was discriminating against me. Becuz I came to realization that buying/purchasing from other stores was not the issue here. Becuz tony had already told me before I even got to the register that he was not going to take my order if I'm intending to place multiple orders. Which I hadn't. We went back and forth, and then begins to tell me that he now will take my order but it WILL be canceled. So after discriminating against me, he now wants to threaten me by deliberately canceling my order. So as he proceeds to place my order. I give him that necessary information that he needed. I gave him the sku number for the product that I wanted. And after I gave him that number he says to me 'funny that you know the number by heart' . It was 7 numbers. I remember my dl number. My license plate number, my ssn, and even my mama phone number by heart. I have no idea why he thought I couldn't remember 7 numbers to a product I've purchased in the past numerous times at other locations. All in all, this guy tony discriminated against me, threatened me. Intimidated me. And patronized me. He straight up profiled me. I wanna have a talk with HR next and ask what type of ppl they hire and requirements are needed to have a manager/supervisor position. It's ppl like tony is the reason why I don't come to this location. I've had better customer service at other Best Buy's location. I get 'good mornings' every time I walk in after a night of camping out. I don't get treated like shit like how tony did me. Take my word for it Don't come to this location Westminster mall and Costa Mesa is the place to go. I got the proof.
