Not everything is in stock. CPU and GPU were mostly out except the mid grade ones like 4060 and 4070. Other location has a whole isle full of chips and GPU. I don't see any open box items either. Everything else is in stock tho. Still a good store to go if you need parts or tools to fix whatever you need.

It's definitely a great store, and worth the drive from Ann Arbor. I only went for 3d printer filament which took a bit to find. We made a day of it and had fun.

I need to extend my wifi to a part of my home- I don't get my signal there, what type of device do I need to purchase?

WIFI Range Extender which is compatible with your present Modem/Router

How is the service department at the Micro Center in Madison Heights?

This store has a very good service department. quick drop-off and usually quick turnaround. Not the cheapest but I would say one of the best considering they are certified by all the major brands you.

GREAT SERVICE!!! I…read morewas visiting from California over the holidays and my phones screen literally fell out and was just hanging by a thread. Took it in to this shop, I can't remember but I believe the guy that helped me was named Anthony, took my wife's number down and called me in 2 hours to pick it up! Fully repaired and ready to go on about my life like nothing ever happened. Awesome service, thank you!!!

I had my phone repaired here today and now my phone is damaged. Initially, Anthony seemed pretty…read morenice and genuine. He did the repair work and after I picked the phone up, I noticed that the Face ID did not work. I gave him a call and he explained that he 'forgot' to tell me that the Face ID would no longer work because 'that's just what happens' when the screen needs to be replaced and the senor is damaged. I wasn't too happy about no longer having Face ID, and that should definitely been a conversation at the time of repair, but I just accepted it as it was. I also made him aware that the screen was lifting on the left side in the middle, so much so that it was noticeable from the side and from the front when looking at the screen. I was told that I could bring the phone back to the shop to have the lifted screen repaired. Once I arrived at the shop with the phone, he took a look at it and said 'oh yeah, that's just how these aftermarket screens sit'. There was also a light showing through in the bottom corner of the screen, and when I asked him about it he replied 'yeah, that's just there because it's a new screen but it won't hurt anything'. There were no lights showing through before my screen was fixed. The screen wasn't even broken, it was lifting at the top. I was also told that even if he replaced the screen, it would still be lifted because there was nothing he could do to fix. IRONICALLY, that was the very last screen that he had in-store to fit my phone, RIGHT! He then argued with me that he'd been doing this for 10 years and no one EVER complained to him that the screen was lifting, despite him also saying that all of the after-market screens sit this way. He acknowledged that it was uneven and lifting, but refused to admit that it was a quality issue. He made it a point to tell me how this screen was better than the one I had before. I'm not required to be grateful for a low quality repair job that I PAID for, especially when it's given with poor customer service. Just because it's better, doesn't meant that it's acceptable. I was told that it was my opinion that my screen shouldn't be lifting and that the screen shouldn't sit that way on the phone. I can only speak for my experience here, so if anyone else has had luck with this business, good for you. I was not so lucky. He's very nice when you meet him, but if you have any issues with the repair he will try and gaslight you in to accepting subpar work. He said that all of the aftermarket screens fit my phone that way, I've had my phone screen repaired before at another location and I've never had this issue. I don't recommend this business. Find another business or you'll have to have it replaced twice like me.

BJ's Wholesale Club

As full disclosure I have a long term membership in Costco and to lesser extent Sam's clubs. These…read moreclubs are the gold standard for discount clubs and when I compare BJ's to these clubs it really just doesn't compare favorably in my opinion. Costs of the same items I shop for are definately less at the other two clubs where Costco offers a larger and definately nicer selection of more premium products and organic goods in my opinion. The prices at BJ's are definately for the most part better when compared to other brick and mortar stores selling similar products but not when compared to Costco's or Sam's. The other item of note is that both of these chains have a store very close to this BJ's which means you can pick the chain of your choice where distance is not an issue. Having said that you will find stuff BJ's carries that the other stores dont (same for Costco and Sam's) and this could be enough to sway you one way or the other. But for me though I think I will be sticking with the other two memberships and mooch of my Brothers BJ's membership when I want something from that chain (:

recently joined BJ's Wholesale through a promotional offer -- I think it was around $10 or $20 --…read moreand honestly, it's one of the best decisions I've made. I used to be a Sam's Club member, but I got pretty frustrated with how often they were out of the things I regularly buy. On top of that, their whole cash rewards situation started feeling like a hassle. If you wanted to redeem your cash, you had to go in, stand in line, and could only use it in certain ways -- not even for gas, which seemed ridiculous. BJ's, on the other hand, has been a breath of fresh air. I'm a single guy who lives alone, so buying in bulk works great for me -- and BJ's makes it even better. One of the coolest features is being able to check out using their app. You scan everything, pay on your phone, and then just show your receipt at the door. No long lines, no stress -- it's amazing. Their gas prices are right on par with Sam's and Costco, and the in-store prices are basically the same penny for penny. But BJ's wins big for me with their customer experience and extra conveniences. I especially love that they have a real deli counter. The quality is great, and it's such a nice touch. All around, I'm really happy I made the switch. BJ's just gets it right.
