It took 2 tickets (the first of which they closed without ever talking to me), and 3 phone calls before I finally got service scheduled. Samsung promises a 24 hour response time to their ticket inquiry. Each took 72 hours. I also asked Samsung if this TV had a reoccurring problem, and they said no. I come to find out that Gibson TV has fixed a number of the same problem, so strike two on Samsung. Once I got serviced scheduled, it was handed off to Gibson, and was smooth sailing from that point on. Monica e-mailed me first thing the very next morning, they had already ordered parts for what they believe the problem to be (even though Samsung told me it wasn't a common occurrence), and scheduled service for the following Tuesday. Gibson then had an automated service on Monday eve call me to remind me of the appointment. In the morning, the service tech called to schedule a block of time, which was from 9-10am. He arrived at 9:20, was greeted friendly by my two pooches, and fixed the TV in about 1/2 hour. I can't thank Gibson enough for their outstanding service!

The Tv is now sitting proudly in my room with multiple things connected to it and I'm in love with how it looks, Its a unicorn and I haven't found another like it, better yet the board that was replaced is now in my room for the future in case other components need to be fixed. Best service I've gotten from an electronics expert, the man wanted to see it work too, and I wasn't bled for the service, completely reasonable, downright cheap compared to what I feared.

Well, after, almost 3.5 weeks of waiting, I called to check in. They explicitly said, "Oh I was meaning to let you know. We can't fix your deck anymore. We ordered a wrong part and can't find the correct one, and now can't fix it. We're sorry you brought us a deck that is in too poor of condition to be fixed. You can use the $100 toward buying a another product in the store". This is a nightmare. I feel blindsided and cheated.

The next day i got a call that there was an issue, the screen cracked while they were repairing it. As a resolution to the issue they replaced it with another Samsung TV of the same size that they had that was newer and had more features. That's integrity. After looking at some reviews here on yelp I thought I would try out 'Batteries Shack' for my Ipad…read morerepair. First, their pricing is great. Cheaper than some places I have been quoted closer to home. The repair work was flawless. I not only shattered the screen when I dropped it on a cobblestone street the Ipad case was bent and they straightened it as well. The only thing I can see that indicates that it was ever fixed was the minor scratch on the back side when it slid and bounced on my initial drop. Second was their wonderful customer service. Seems like a bit of a family affair with everyone working in the shop chatting with me as I waited but on the drop off and pick up. They are confident in their profession and knowledgeable. Even when I asked to purchase a new charging cord and they found they didn't have one in a package in stock they were willing to give their own personal ones up to make me happy. Third was their go above and beyond service. I pulled into their lot with the biggest chunk of metal sticking right out of my now flat tire and they offered to change it for me, also in record time and accepted nothing more than my thanks and a hand shake. For the best service got to the Batteries Shack where they change out your watch batteries, fix your Ipad / Iphone screens and change flat tires all with a wink and a smile!

After the first week without hearing anything I decided to call and get a status report: they told me I would have to wait another week for the part to come in. After not hearing anything for another week, again, I called expecting a status report. They told me that the technician would be in in about 15 mins and I would receive a call. After not hearing anything for an hour I called and was told that he wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes. All I wanted was a status report! Finally after another hour, I got a call from the technician saying that the part hasn't come in yet. The next day I received a call saying there was nothing else they could do: that the shop I had taken it to before had done damage to it and that the part wasn't fitting properly. They also mentioned that the laptop wouldn't even turn on. I figured that it wouldn't from the start since I haven't been able to maintain a charge... DUH. Nonetheless, they said they wouldn't charge me anything. When I went in to pick up my laptop they couldn't find my charger. Later, upon further inspection when I had taken it to another facility: we noticed that the keyboard had been damaged and didn't work anymore. It wasn't like that when I dropped it off at Battery Shack... The only good thing is that they didn't charge me for the part they had to order. Other than that I can't find any positives for this facility. I had no communication while they were trying to fix it, and they broke my keyboard. I'm beyond frustrated with this experience. What a waste of my time.
