Been going here for 10 years. Always the best. Amazing flavors. Thick frosting. Moist cake. Fresh strawberries

Rebecca A.

Once again, Michelle's does not disappoint. Normally I get the chocolate raspberry Victorian. But for my 50th birthday, I switched it to chocolate strawberry Victorian. I cannot tell you which is better because they're both fantastic. They have made many cakes for me in the past, but I think this one was my favorite. It was decorated with roses all over. I will post a picture below. Wonderful cake, wonderful service, wonderful bakery.

Wedding cake

I had my wedding with Tennessee Gardens and Michelle bakery did my cake. The cake tasting went great and it was hard to choose from so many great flavors. We went for classic look for my wedding cake and it was absolutely stunning. The cake was so moist and tasted so good. Will definitely be back again.

40th FRIEND's themed birthday cake

The first time I heard about Michelle's was when my hubby got me a FRIENDS themed cake from here a few years ago based on a picture. It was the most beautiful cake I'd seen! And it tasted really good too. I don't exactly remember the flavor but I believe it was a Chocolate marble cake with ganache. It was awesome! I recently thought about Michelle's again because I was looking for a Christmas themed 1st bday cake. They were gracious enough to accept the order for pickup on 24th Dec even though I had placed the order only 4 days prior & they were super busy with Christmas orders. Once again, a picture was all I had. And they didn't disappoint! Omg the cake was the most prettiest cake ever! I had ordered the Chocolate with raspberry filling & it was THE BEST cake I've had! Definitely worth every penny. I love this bakery. Bonnie & the staff are very courteous & professional. Highly recommend!!

"Carrot" cake

I received this cake for my birthday. It was a beautiful cake that was supposed to be a carrot cake but it wasn't. It was a spice cake! The cake itself was very dense and dry and not tasty but the buttercream icing was delicious.i think if the cake was moist, people may have like it. I don't know what happened but it was a waste of money because no one liked spice cake. I am not a spice cake person at all. We were going to return it but decided to take the loss. I'm sure the other goodies here are good but not this cake.

The $400 cake

We called and made the order for this cake nearly 2 weeks prior to our wedding. We had been promised that it would be ready for pick up at 8am the day of the wedding. When the person got to the bakery, they were still working on the cake. They waited nearly an hour, and I spoke with the front desk she said they can have the cake delivered for a fee, I then explained that I will not be paying a delivery fee as we were promised a time for the cake to be picked up so they will have to deliver at their expense. The lady said she would have to talk to the owner but I told her that they wouldnt have had to deliver it if they fulfilled their promise for pick up time. They then still wanted us to pay the balance of $200+ for the cake and this is what the cake looked like. I did not feel it was justified in the price ($400) nor the quality of the cake in the matter. I will no longer be recommending or referring any one of my clients to this bakery in the future.

Don't waste your money. Recently purchased a few pastries and the taste was stale and they crumbled as soon as I opened the plastic wrapping. My total was $22 for 4 cookies and they were NOT worth that price. We didn't even eat them all because they didn't taste right. Definitely won't be returning here.

Love love love and always will! Their chocolate raspberry cake is to die for and absolutely divine!!! Tried and true throughout the decades!

Wedding cake tasting was fun, but would be nice if they offered some kind of drink. Even just water. Our wedding cake was DELICIOUS. Everyone said it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had, as wedding cake is usually pretty but not tasty. We did white with cream/strawberry bottom, white with cream/raspberry middle, and a chocolate/nut with chocolate/caramel/nut filling for the top anniversary layer. The anniversary layer made it exactly five days. We ordered plain white frosted, and while our florist provided the blooms, I'm not sure if it was the bakery or our florist who did the flower placements in the end, but the result was beautiful. Definitely customers for life. Thank you!!

I've heard of this incredible bakery, so since I was responsible for bringing dessert for a family get together, I decided to try Michelle's Bakery. The place was inconspicuous, but what a great experience. Great service, and plenty to choose from. By the awards displayed, they are well known and recognized within the community and much of SoCal. The cakes they suggested were excellent and everyone that enjoyed a piece raved about it. Definitely recommend Michelle's for any occasion!

a friend's Birthday cake

Been coming here for cakes before, the parking is quite a challenge. but depends what day and what time you go there. Staff not really friendly maybe they are busy. It like "Hi can i help you" "yes we have" " what you want on it" " the pricce is $$" but regardless we got the cake ok. And another thing... the intention is great, but really take 1 point in my review because they put a crumbled masking tape on one side of the cake by the carton base of the cake I wish I took the pick. But didn't realize until someone took the cake out of the box..... its just killed the aesthetic of the presentation of the cake. I wish they would hide a double tape and hide under the carton base. Nonetheless the cake is good just less fruits compared to to 10 years ago.

My cake was both delicious and visually stunning. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all of my guests, and I received numerous compliments on both the flavor and the design. The attention to detail in the decoration was truly impressive and added a beautiful touch to the celebration. I could not have been more pleased with the final result.

Twenty-two years living and eating in Redlands and I have never felt so at home and fancy at the same time. I randomly popped in to their shop for a sweet lil something to go several months ago and was blown away by their strawberry shortcake dream - with the creamiest most delightful frosting I have ever tasted. This frosting is beyond amazing I wanted to buy a tub of it, but it's not for sale in tubs, only on the cupcakes. One-part bakery and one-part family restaurant, this is a classic Americana restaurant. I don't think I've ever tried lunch or dinner options in all my infrequent visits, but breakfast reigns supreme here, so there's that. Frankly, I've never had a bad meal here. Service is casual friendly, but slow and steady by design. I've always found the servers and staff to be cheerful and happy. Turns out all those jaw-dropping Yelp cakes are basically VIP-only.... most are special order, so the display case was giving more "snack break" than "dessert heaven." The place is tiny, and with about 10 kids running a full-volume chaos baking convention, the vibe was less cozy bakery and more "Chuck E. Cheese but with aprons and a Kitchen Aid." Not exactly the peaceful, sugar-filled escape I had imagined. I grabbed a few items anyway, slightly disappointed about the limited options and the unexpected kid frenzy. But plot twist... once we got home, the pastries actually slapped!!! My kids were fully impressed and overruled my disappointment, bumping this place from a "meh" to a "fine, I guess you're good. They were extremely happy with the mini ube cake.
