    Gluten free lemon cake

Gluten free lemon cake was amazing! Not only the taste but the presentation. Liz was so kind and easy to work with. I'm definitely recommending her to friends and family.

Beth was amazing to work with for the design of these CHP graduation cookies for a family. They were a hit for the party and so delicious, we only had 2 left out of the 3 dozen that were ordered. Highly recommend Beth for all your specialty cookie needs!

Do you bake no sugar added?

Yes I can bake a cake with no added sugar. My sweetener of choice is Splenda with Lankato monk fruit sweetener. I can do vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and coconut.

I asked the worker what they recommended. I ordered a Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe and Horchata Iced coffee. Did not disappoint!!! Yum. First off, the ambience is great. The café is decorated with cute French-themed touches, and it has a cozy, inviting vibe. The employees were also friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. For food, I ordered a turkey sandwich. It was good overall--more of a torta-style sandwich with flavorful ingredients, served on toasted white bread. No complaints there. Unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. I ordered the horchata latte, but it tasted like low-quality coffee. I didn't really get any horchata flavor--more like a watered-down vanilla/cinnamon latte. For dessert, I tried the key lime tart. It wasn't very sweet, and the crust was extremely dry. Considering it was almost $10 for a fairly small tart, it didn't feel worth the price. Speaking of price, the overall cost felt overpriced for what you get. I paid around $30 for a sandwich, coffee, and tart, which felt steep given the quality of the items I tried. Service timing was another issue. A group came in after me, and my order wasn't started until after they took everyone else's order. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but I was in a bit of a hurry, and it ended up holding me up longer than expected. That said, it does seem like crepes are their main specialty, and judging by other reviews, those might be worth trying. If you're going specifically for crepes, it may still be worth a visit. However, based on my experience with the sandwich, coffee, and dessert, I personally wouldn't return. I genuinely wish them the best as a small business--it just wasn't for me.

Here I was to experience it once more. Yes, I've been here in the past. Parking was easy right in front of the shop. It was about 20 minutes until closing time. There was still a line, but not too long so it went swiftly. Atmosphere was clean and bright. Ambiance has a Hawaiian flare to it. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I was in Hawaii. Limited outside seating and some inside seating. There's a cool cabana hut-like section you may sit at. One all gender restroom available for use. Staff was super fantastic and friendly. They serve the ice cream in quite a variety... fruit bowls, mangonada, vegan/dairy free ice cream, soft serve, floats, shakes, etc. You may even take home pre-packaged pints to-go. Cute shirts for sale, too. As for here, free samples available on any flavors. You may try them all (that's what they say). Sweet! Of course I didn't try all of them, but maybe one day I will. WOW, so many unique and interesting combination of flavors. I sampled 5 flavors as shown below. *Navels & Ganache - Bright navel orange ice cream mixed with rich, dark chocolate ganache chunks *Ube Macapuno - Philippine purple ube root mixed with macapuno (coconut) puree *Date Casablanca - Medajool date ice cream with a date/caramel swirl *Honeysuckle Rose - Honey sweetened vanilla ice cream with rose petal extract *Kauai Pie - Kona coffee ice cream, Hawaiian macadamia nuts, shredded and lightly toasted coconut, and rich dark chocolate fudge I ended up getting one regular cup with 2 flavors for $6.50... very reasonable price! My two picks were Ube Mascapuno and Kauai Pie. Good size scoops. Very rich and smooth texture. Ube was spectacular! YUMMY!! Kauai was good, but unfornately, it didn't pair too well with Ube IMHO. I won't do that again. I will, however, return and try their other fun and tasty flavors. I'll be back and so should you if you've been here before. If you haven't tried them, Lappert's is a must visit when you're in Redlands. Happy Ice Cream!

They offer an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering Ice cream, Smoothies, Desserts, and Drinks along with a few local treasures like various date treats. Speaking of dates, what drew us in was their Date Shake. I loved that they offered it and it saved us a trip from driving out to Sheild's Date Garden. Their date shake was SCRUMPTIOUS! So creamy and full of date flavor. Highly recommend!

Turns out all those jaw-dropping Yelp cakes are basically VIP-only.... most are special order, so the display case was giving more "snack break" than "dessert heaven." The place is tiny, and with about 10 kids running a full-volume chaos baking convention, the vibe was less cozy bakery and more "Chuck E. Cheese but with aprons and a Kitchen Aid." Not exactly the peaceful, sugar-filled escape I had imagined. I grabbed a few items anyway, slightly disappointed about the limited options and the unexpected kid frenzy. But plot twist... once we got home, the pastries actually slapped!!! My kids were fully impressed and overruled my disappointment, bumping this place from a "meh" to a "fine, I guess you're good. They were extremely happy with the mini ube cake.

The ice cream itself is really good, and the taco shells they serve it in are delicious too. The service is always lovely. Everyone there is super sweet and friendly, which definitely makes the experience even better. The prices are also very reasonable. I think it's around $7.95 for a rolled ice cream, which feels like a pretty standard price for that kind of dessert. The only thing that keeps it from being five stars is the ambiance. The place itself is just a little lackluster. It's not bad, it just doesn't have much of a vibe. But honestly, the ice cream and the friendly service still make it a great place to stop by. Overall, it's a great experience and a fun little treat spot. I love coming here to grab a snack with my son.
