Having to watch an employee, or family member, put on her makeup and use a curling iron on her hair while seated at a booth within full view of the patrons was a bit unappealing, and definitely not good for one's appetite. To the owner, perhaps having your employees, or family members prepare for work at home, rather than inside the restaurant would be a good practice to enforce.
