First of all, Nestor was so nice, honest, humble, and genuine, and that was really important to us. We went with their platinum plated package, and the price was incredibly fair, and the best package by FAR when I compared all catering companies in the area. Nestor was always available and so pleasant in emails, calls, and had the most calm demeanor. We knew we had to hire them! Then comes our wedding party - they arrived on time, and basically handled everything! They didn't let me do a thing and wanted me to relax and have fun the entire time. Their team was SO nice, professional, friendly, and personable! They even accommodated my request to put the plates on my dinner tables for the photographer to photograph, even though it created more work for them by having to pick them up again for the dinner - they happily obliged and I was so grateful! Also, one of their team members tried helping me figure out a way to keep my centerpiece vases from tipping over because of the wind, that was so nice of her to do when she didn't have to! They had an incredible set up that was efficient and beautiful. Katie, the lead lady in charge at that wedding, was highly professional and attentive, and worked extremely hard at the wedding. Because I was so impressed by them, I started referring them to all of my clients. I worked with them again last week, and once again, they blew me away. I had Katie again but with a different serving staff, but they were all just as amazing as the first experience. This wedding was anything but typical- the catering company was not even booked until a week prior. Yet they were able to get them fully booked quickly and took on every single challenge that arose through the night with zero complaints. One of the guests at that wedding is an owner of Michelin star restaurants, and he was raving about the food and how good it was- and I think that says something! And as a wedding coordinator, I feel like I can truly trust this company with my clients because they have proven to me twice now how amazing they are with their great service, presentation, attention to detail, and tasty food. From there things took a dive. I scheduled an appointment via their website (as directed) which was confirmed via email. No one showed up for the zoom so I called the number jic something out of their control happened. One of the owners answered and said they never got the notification on their end and they were out of office so there was nothing they could do. She advised to message her and we could sent another meeting. I text and emailed. I didn't receive a response via text and got an email over a week later. During that same time, my husband text the same number and received a message instantly. He inquired about an order for a Friendsgiving and Christmas but they advised they were not going to be catering for Christmas. Understandable, so he just asked for a quote for our Friendsgiving. They said they would send the quote but it was never received even after another call which they claimed it would be sent. I've worked with multiple caterers and especially like to work with local family owned ones but this one is 10/10 DO NOT recommend. I'm thankful we were able to pivot to another lovely small business in San Bernardino and would not trust working with THIS business.

The issue was how late they showed up to cater. Food was supposed to be ready and served from 3-5pm and they showed up at 2:45pm. They cooked everything on site, but it took almost 2 hours to cook and serve. My guests didn't start eating until almost 5pm. I also hired a churro company to serve churros after the food, so their late start caused them to start late too. Suggestion is to check traffic before an event to avoid being late especially if they have a long commute. Also the griddle used to cook food should be bigger to accommodate large parties. The food was good, but I will most likely not hire them again due their lack of punctuality.
