When they arrived to my event, they got there an hour and a half earlier to cook the food fresh, right at serving time told they were done and ready to serve! Hired Alma from Tacomiendo to cater our Open House event on Saturday October 8 in the city of Fontana. From the beginning Alma was very courteous and quick to respond. Once at the event she showed up on time and had the food ready by the time we had agreed upon. Shortly after, people started to enjoy some delicious food that included: tacos, rice, beans, and two types of salsa along with cilantro and onion. The meat choices were asada (beef), chicken and al pastor(pork). Since we purchased a package for up to 150 people, there were plenty of leftovers that Alma left for us to keep and enjoy the following day. We did a College 10 years reunion and Marcos was assisting everyone with zero complaints and a smile on his face. The food was delicious. we had chicken, el pastor, asada, and potatoes. Used this company for our baby shower. Very fairly priced, on time and the food was delicious. We paid for 50 people, 3 taco meat, we did the chicken, pork, and steak... and....yep! We added bacon-wrapped hot doggies too...YUMMM! Oh! And we also had the Mulitas. My mom never had one before, she went back 3 and 4 times for the Asada Mulitas. She loved it. Marty and Lucy arrived on time to set up. They were very friendly and easy to work with. They were very self sufficient (not requiring anything of us) and provided us with everything we needed. A couple of things I would recommend would be to have an extra EZ up or shade to put over the salsa/chip/guacamole table, it was a very hot day, and to have endless chips included because that was a big hit. Tacomiendo was my best decision for our housewarming holiday party. Not only is the name clever but the tacos and service is excellent. I needed to feed my guests and not have to fuss too much in the kitchen. Tacomiendo was responsive when I called. Listened to my dietary restrictions. We don't eat pork so they offered a soyrizo option with bell peppers. When I asked for mushrooms with the soyrizo they said no problem and they delivered just that. They were also flexible with the amount of people I would have allowing me to make any updates 1 week before our event. I ended up paying for 50 people but they were flexible to do more or down to 10-20 people. They arrived on time as they said they would 1.5 hours before my event. The food was ready on time and the table is very presentable. They bring plates, utensils, salsas, onion and cilantro (separated which I am so thankful for!). The tortillas were yellow corn and truly fresh and amazing! The chicken and beef were well seasoned and juicy. My guests all raved about the tacos. Lastly, the only suggestion I would make is to tell people it's soyrizo instead of "chorizo". The word "chorizo" scared away some one my vegetarian guests and I wasn't there to catch it because I was busy hosting so that defeated the purpose of thinking of them, too! All in all, I would recommend this business and look forward to the next time I hire them. read more
