If only they had a restaurant! We have been using WFT since 2021 to provide lunch for our employees, and they never disappoint. Super friendly and easy to work with. They offer vegetarian options, but as a carnivore, I had a carne asada, al pastor, and pollo asado taco which were all seasoned so well and tender. Aguas frescas are provided which are also delicious. I highly recommend trying WFT for any party/special occasion/employee luncheon. This is our 4th year using them to provide lunch for our employees. We wouldn't think of using any other vendor as they are consistent in their service and quality of food. I needed a "Taco Man" experience for my husband's Open House Celebration of Life in January 2026. I inquired with 6 different catering companies to determine what I really wanted. Do you know that once I described the event, Israel with World Famous Tacos was the only person that gave his condolences immediately and then we discussed the options. I had decided on another company, who seemed to offer all I was looking for, but seemed a bit pricey. Within the week, Israel had reached out to see if I had any questions (the only company that did this). I explained several items that were an issue for me. Israel worked with me on these and we came to an agreement. I also appreciated working with a company that was closer, not from further west area. The day of the event, the Team (4) showed up more than an hour early to set up and begin cooking. Marco, was the man in charge and introduced himself and we discussed location of things. Marco was personable and accommodating as were his Team members. The Team served for just over 2 hours and the food was fantastic, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. I must have had a response from every person in attendance (approx 135) how great the food was and how professional the Team was. We had food left over, which Marco packed up for us to bring inside and have available for late comers. It could not have been more successful. My late husband would have overwhelming approved!!! i hired World Famous Tacos for my husband's 70th birthday celebration. The team showed up right on time. Their set up was professional in appearance. The crew was polite, friendly, and efficient. The food was exceptional. Every guest commented that they found it to be wonderful. the proteins--grilled shrimp, carne asada and pollo asada--were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Included were onions and cilantro, two salsas--a mild green and spicy red--along with guacamole sauce. Peruvian beans and rice rounded out the meal. Israel made it happen. He was able to salvage the night. He was got a staff here and the night was enjoyed by everyone. These guys were at the Riverside Air Show on 4/13/25 and the service was horrible!! They had to shut down multiple times and ran out of everything at one point or another. They were not prepared for an event this size and I hope they don't come back again. The tacos were decent but not worth the wait or hassle. They seemed to be waiting until the last minute to start cooking the meat and had everyone waiting in the meantime. Bad planning and bad execution. I spoke to Israel when I made my reservation. I'll be honest, I've had several taco crews come to family gatherings and WFT is by far the best tacos I've ever had. The guys that came over were very friendly and made sure we got the best experience. I'm pretty picky when it comes to food, but the fact that 50+ plus people came up to me saying the food was great is all I needed to hear.
