So I found out that the minute you hire taco truck catering, everyone comes out of the wood work to tell you their taco truck nightmare. Thank goodness, this was NOT the case for us! Let me tell you how WONDERFUL Tacos Mora is! This was our first time booking a taco truck and it was for our son's 16th birthday. From the moment I sent my first email inquiry, the response from Manny was almost instant. I don't think I ever waited more than five minutes for him to respond in an email. The incredible sweet employees arrived ON TIME and began their set up and cooking immediately. I had requested our guests begin being served at 4:30 and that is EXACTLY when they began serving. I was blown away by the quality of the food. Taco truck food is often mediocre, the meat can be chewy, the tortillas dry...NOT SO with Tacos Mora!! Everything was so delicious (the avocado salsa!!!!!!) nearly everyone went back for more. The three employees were professional, kind, and so attentive. I'm so glad we decided to use Tacos Mora. I honestly did not have a good experience with this taco cart.... the food was ok nothing great. The guys that camera were not friendly at all, they did not come at the right time. And didn't even leave us ANY carnitas when they left after only an hour and a half. So we paid $600 for an hour and a half of rude awkwardness and got left with maybe half the food we paid for. I originally messaged this company on Wedding Wire and never received a response. Based off of their yelp reviews I decided to give them a try and email on their website. I got a response fairly quickly and booked them for my wedding. At the time I did not have exact start time I would need them. When we got closer to the wedding date, I emailed with the information on setting up at 5pm to start serving at 6 for my wedding reception. The only time I talked to anyone on the phone was that day when they called to confirm that we had tables for them. Unknown to me, as I was getting dressed for my wedding, they showed up at 4pm instead of 5 pm. They caught my new husband at around 5:20 when he was walking to take photos and told him that they were supposed to start serving at 5 and needed it to be announced. He tried to ask them why, but ended up telling the dj to announce food was ready. They were starting to pack up at 6, even though we were supposed to have them for 90 minutes. Some of the bridal party started questioning them and they said someone called and changed the time. One of my bridesmaids was able to have them make a plate for us as we finished up our pictures and did our first dance. We ate cold tacos because that's what was left for us. None of the plates I had bought were used because they started before we had anyone seated and were given paper plates instead. Because dinner was served so early, it though off the whole timeline of our wedding and even had people grabbing our cupcakes before we even we're able to eat dinner! To top it all off, they left all the food out uncovered and did not leave us anything to cover it with to take it home so it ended up getting trashed. I was very dissapointed with the services provided. Everyone raved about how good it, so there was at least that but I will definitely not recommend them or use them again. read more
