Fire Dancer

We found this company doing an internet search, and BOY WERE WE GLAD WE DID!! We hired their dancers for a 60th Birthday celebration, and I have to say every guest could not stop telling us how GREAT the entertainment was. They were engaging, talented, and very entertaining. Our event was outside in April, and while it was in the low 60s, that did not seem to distract at all from the entertainment. We did not use the catering services, but if we rebook (a definite possibility), we would be open to having them cater the event and provide the entertainment. Vivian was just awesome to work with!! I would not hesitate to re-hire this company or recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Isanders Luau.

I hired Islanders Luau for my dad's 80th bday party on June 8th because I wanted his celebration to be EXTRA special. This was a very big and important event for me and I'm so happy I brought in the BEST! I found them here on Yelp and I contacted Vivian a few months before the party. She is organized, professional and very easy to work with. I was so appreciative of her price list and their website that has photos of everything they have to offer. I must've compared the list and pics 50 times as I made my choices. The day of our event the caters arrived on time and I walked them through the places I had envisioned the buffet set up to be. All 3 staff were great communicators and extremely accommodating to any of my requests. The decor and buffet the caters set up was absolutely beautiful. All the food was fresh, beautiful, and delicious! Vivian was kind enough to help me with a few extras that really made the buffet table look incredible. I received so many compliments on the food and there was plenty for everyone without having leftovers for days afterward. A perfect amount for the size of our party. Jazzy and her team of 4 entertainers arrived shortly after the caters. Jazzy was also very accommodating and easy to work with. All the dancers were friendly, professional, and were very well rehearsed. Their costumes were althenic and of great quality (beautiful colors). The dances were made even more captivating because of the introductions given by Jazzy and her crew. It really was as if the Islands had come to my backyard. I especially loved that they invited my guests to be part of the show. From the pig ceremony to some of the men learning a few Haka moves, it was really fun to watch. The fire dancer at the end was the cherry on top. Everyone especially the kids (and my dad) really enjoyed watching him. We all had a great time and thanks to Islanders Luau I could enjoy my family and did not have to worry about my guests being well fed and entertained. I would 100% recommend them and hope to work with them again in the near future!

Exceptional Experience!! I booked a 70th Birthday luau for my Mom with Islanders Luau. Meril was very helpful in the decision of what to choose from their awesome list of food, entertainment and decor! They cooked teriyaki chicken on site, and all the food was amazing! The buffet table was absolutely gorgeous. The servers were very helpful.. I also got the tiki photo booth which was so much fun! The Entertainment by Meril and the Hula girls was by far the best experience my guests had ever had.. We were all blown away by the entire show and experience.. I will definitely be booking Islanders Luau in the Near future. Thank you Meril and Islanders Luau for such a wonderful experience.. We're family now!

We had 'Harvey' as our MC/Entertainment and he was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! We had our event in our backyard w/our very close family and friends (approx 45 people)... he went around talking to most (if not all) our guests. He was so personable (and professional) that he totally fit in... He arrived as the "Luau Entertainer", but left as "Uncle Harvey" lol. Will definitely reach out to @ Islanders Luau for future events... until next time... Mahalo, ~Leilani

We cleaned our surfboard and ordered flowers and put weights on it, along with light up lotus flowers.

Staff here are also really helpful and nice, and I'm sure they are the same for all the different shows they have here. Inside the auditorium, it reminds me of a large lecture hall: with those wooden, collapsable chairs...just felt like being in college again! Which was cool. The stage and its lighting system is amazing and the stage will be lit up just perfectly for any show. I really enjoy coming here and who knows, maybe I'll come back for another show!

Tickets for into the woods was just $16.00 with a $5 discount for advanced purchase, an amazing bargain! Into The woods was fantastic, clever, and massively entertaining with a superb cast. The Sets and lighting crossed between professional and campy, just perfect for such a fun show.

Walking in is a step back in time to when the golden age of the silver screen brought people en masse to classy, red carpeted movie houses. That vibe lingers as one enters the softly lit warm glow of the lobby with its period chandeliers, dark wood painted beams, and carpeted floors. Proper old school escorts take you to your seats. Inside the theater, the stage is flanked by drapes, and aesthetically pleasing lighting sets the mood. The seats are a rare find - wooden with lush velvety fabric. Surprisingly, they were more spacious than expected. Also surprisingly, our seats weren't attached to the floor! If we leaned forward, our two seats both moved. It wasn't a problem, just surprising. We also had one cup holder. It seemed they were randomly placed with several seats lacking them. Since we were here for a concert, let's talk about sound quality, which was spot on! The speaker system provided multidirectional sound that was clear and clean. No pops, distortion, or drops here. The bass gave that satisfying through the feet vibration without rattling our teeth. The temperature was comfortably cool and never stuffy. So, why a 4 instead of a 5? While seat/cupholder were kinda just quirky, it's a matter of layout and patience. As you pass through to the interior, there's a confluence of lines that, even though people queued up as best they could, merged with those trying to find a way through. The women's restroom line - which was clean with good sized stalls - comes first, with the bar just a few yards away, followed by merch table. The bar line ended up descending down the stairs on one side while the merch table went down the other. I honestly don't know how they could manage it differently given the space. Bar and merch lines moved slowly, and I was appreciative when another joined the single bartender to help customers. Someone said there was another bar, but I was too time invested to inquire. My friend eventually left the merch table after making no significant headway after 20 minutes. After the concert, the line was back down the stairs. Patience, politeness, and flexibility win the day here. Did this take away from our experience? No, not really. We were lined up outside and entered shortly after doors opened, an hour before showtime. These logistics would not keep me from returning.

The location is easy to find and they have plenty of parking in their private lot. I bought tickets online for my cousin and I for $18/general ticket and we were able to pick up our tickets at the box office on the day of the performance. All I had to do was present my drivers license and they were able to locate my tickets. Our seats were preassigned based on timing of when our tickets were purchase. The interior was quaint, but small theaters have the luxury of good visuals for all attendees. My cousin and I were in B9 and B10 which put us one row back from the absolute front. I enjoyed the distance to the stage but the set back was the chairs. The chairs in each row were connected. At first I thought the person behind me was constantly kicking my chair, but it turns out we would feel every movement from the people in our row. Every time they got up, sat down or shifted... and unfortunately the person on the other side of the empty seat next to me couldn't stop shifting around all night long. It was so annoying. I hope they upgrade these chairs as soon as they have the budget to do so. I completely enjoyed the actual production of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. It was divided into two parts with an intermission after the first half. During the 20 minute intermission, the audience got up to use the restroom and to visit the concession area. The concession snacks were served by a friendly group. All of the items were $2 each. It was easy and quick math to calculate your order. They served coffee, tea, root beer, lemonade, cookies, trail mix and cheesy popcorn. We bought a variety of items thinking we could enjoy it during the remainder of the show, but a voice announced over the speakers that eating and drinking is prohibited in the theater area, so we just finished our beverages and left our snacks unopen. After enjoying the remainder of the production, the entire cast met us our front and thanked us for attending opening night. 5 stars for the cast and their performance! I especially loved the strong female lead role. She was perfect!! If you are a fan of the theater, this is an inexpensive spot to indulge. They are currently selling their season tickets and the production we enjoyed is still performing on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until March 8th. Just remember to manage your expectations with the venue when the tickets are so inexpensive.
