We found this company doing an internet search, and BOY WERE WE GLAD WE DID!! We hired their dancers for a 60th Birthday celebration, and I have to say every guest could not stop telling us how GREAT the entertainment was. They were engaging, talented, and very entertaining. Our event was outside in April, and while it was in the low 60s, that did not seem to distract at all from the entertainment. We did not use the catering services, but if we rebook (a definite possibility), we would be open to having them cater the event and provide the entertainment. Vivian was just awesome to work with!! I hired Islanders Luau for my dad's 80th bday party on June 8th because I wanted his celebration to be EXTRA special. This was a very big and important event for me and I'm so happy I brought in the BEST! I found them here on Yelp and I contacted Vivian a few months before the party. She is organized, professional and very easy to work with. I was so appreciative of her price list and their website that has photos of everything they have to offer. I must've compared the list and pics 50 times as I made my choices. The day of our event the caters arrived on time and I walked them through the places I had envisioned the buffet set up to be. All 3 staff were great communicators and extremely accommodating to any of my requests. The decor and buffet the caters set up was absolutely beautiful. All the food was fresh, beautiful, and delicious! Vivian was kind enough to help me with a few extras that really made the buffet table look incredible. I received so many compliments on the food and there was plenty for everyone without having leftovers for days afterward. A perfect amount for the size of our party. Jazzy and her team of 4 entertainers arrived shortly after the caters. Jazzy was also very accommodating and easy to work with. All the dancers were friendly, professional, and were very well rehearsed. Their costumes were althenic and of great quality (beautiful colors). The dances were made even more captivating because of the introductions given by Jazzy and her crew. It really was as if the Islands had come to my backyard. I especially loved that they invited my guests to be part of the show. From the pig ceremony to some of the men learning a few Haka moves, it was really fun to watch. The fire dancer at the end was the cherry on top. Everyone especially the kids (and my dad) really enjoyed watching him. We all had a great time and thanks to Islanders Luau I could enjoy my family and did not have to worry about my guests being well fed and entertained. The crew arrived an hour an half before our pool party to ensure they had every set up without interfering the event. Once they started cooking our guests couldn't wait to partake in the meal! We used Islanders Luau for my mom's 100th birthday celebration on May 17, 2025. She was born and raised on the island of Maui so we wanted that "Aloha Spirit" for this monumental occasion. Islanders Luau helped create this "Aloha Spirit"! They exceeded my expectations! The setup, decor, food, entertainment...exceptional! Vivian was great...patient and reassuring. His staff arrived on time and set up everything with plenty of time to spare. The food was fabulous! For the main dishes, we had the teriyaki chicken and beef as well as the Kalua pulled pork w/cabbage. Some guests were from Hawaii and many were "relocated" Hawaiians here on the mainland and they all said everything was delicious! The egg roll appetizer is a must! The entertainment was top notch...guest participation was especially entertaining! My mom and guests all commented that this was a great party. It's definitely a party I will never forget! Recently entertaining over 100 guests in Palm Springs, Islanders Luau lived up to their promise. Easy to work with fairly priced on time or just a few good things I want to say. When our guests arrived, they were greeted with lei, and came in to a ukulele, singing, DJ. Food was excellent and they worked with us on our budget. The greatest part was the show with hula dancers and a great fire dancer. Islanders Luau was every bit as good or better than we expected. 5 stars for the entertainment and food! Our guests really, really enjoyed the fire dancer, he's the best. The hula dancers were great. And everyone raved about the food. We did the majority of our own decorating. Vivian made it easy for the booking process and communicated great on that end. Host/server/dancer Miracle was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was thrilled to find out they would come to our city. I would not hesitate to hire them again because now I would know what things need to have a back up plan. So the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we didn't do horde overs' because we were just having a 30 minute meet & greet along with cocktails prior to food service, but the food was served 45 minutes late! I was embarrassed because our guests didn't expect to eat so late. The team arrived an hour and a half early (better early then late) but that's 1 1/2 hours early on top of the original 2 hours in advance for set up. I was getting dressed & ready and kept having to go outside to make decisions, I had planned to be completely ready and available at the original time planned. The beautiful fruit platter sat in the kitchen for nearly 4 hours not on ice or anything, & then when the food was served I found it in the kitchen still, forgotten, so the people who had already been served had to go back for the fruit. I didn't have room in my fridge for it, and we do not have AC. The reason the food was served so late was the staff had not been told we had paid for the fried Hawaiian rice and so someone had to go get something to cook it on, and I'm guessing getting the missing ingredients. Last thing was the condition of the driveway. Vivian asked if we had a pressure washer, we do but it was buried in prep for the party and we're not stoping to dig it out and then have pressure washing going on at the end of the party. I didn't know if the company shows up with a trailer for the performers to change in, or how that worked , no one said we needed to provide an area for this, so in the future we would know. But as I said the guests had a GREAT time, and we received lots of compliments, such as "it was the best party ever". read more

Maril with Islander's Luau was fantastic. From the open and regular communication, to the flexibility, he really made our event fantastic! We worked together on a 500 person, outdoor prom. The team was engaging and efficient. Unfortunately some of the crew got stuck in traffic due to unforeseen issues, and although they arrived later, they picked up the pace and were able to still get food out by our originally scheduled time. I live in the Bay Area and was looking for a group to perform for my dad's luau themed 80th birthday celebration. Planning a huge party from over 400 miles away could have been a nightmare. But Vivian from Islanders Luau helped me along the way. What a fantastic party it was! We did not use them for catering because the venue we chose caters. However, we had 2 female and 2 male dancers and the Pago Pago Weaving Village. We also used some of their decorations which helped guests really feel like they were on the islands. The audience participation was so fun. They had my 80 year old uncle doing a Haka and my 82 year old aunt learning Hula. Everyone had a great time, especially my dad.
