I would have given this establishment 5 stars based on the friendliness of the staff and quality of the food. However, I am basing my 3 star rating on the lack of health and safety practices while I was there. Having to watch an employee, or family member, put on her makeup and use a curling iron on her hair while seated at a booth within full view of the patrons was a bit unappealing, and definitely not good for one's appetite. To the owner, perhaps having your employees, or family members prepare for work at home, rather than inside the restaurant would be a good practice to enforce. read more

So the only thing I've had here is the kafta/kofta and falafel. Both were really good, although it was pretty expensive for the kofta wrap and a side a falafel. I want to say I spent at least $30. I will come back and try the Shawarma. The interior is really clean, really spacey. And the lady who helped me was really nice. I happen to go when they were having the kofta special so hopefully I can get that again. read more

When I picked it up at 5:30pm, there wasn't anyone inside except the person who helped me out. Still pretty early for dinner though! She was friendly and got my food to me. The texture on the falafel was really good. Nice and crispy on the outside. The taste was a little salty for me, but not too much. Other than that, it was pretty good. The salad was a basic salad with lettuce, cucumbers, etc. The fries were also pretty good. Nice texture and still warm when I got back to the hotel. The major letdown was the pita bread. It came wrapped and the texture was not good. Very tough and chewy. Overall, pretty good meal! I wouldn't mind coming back. read more

Just had lunch today and friends have told me how delicious the food is here. First of all this place is very spacious with lots of tables. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and it comes with garlic sauce and pita bread. The salad dressing was in house freshly made . The chicken and rice were well seasoned and tasty. I got the gyro shawarma and wow--one of the best I've had in a long time. It had this comforting, "home" feel to it, even though I never actually had it back home. My friends ordered the beef burrito and chicken shawarma, and we all left happy with our choices. The family running the place was super nice and welcoming. First time here. Very nice remodeling and ambiance since the prior business was here. Imad explained all the choices and variations of Mediterranean food. I tried the Beef/Lamb Shawarma meal and it was very good and tasty. They even make their own spicy sauce! The Lemon juice with mint was wonderful and I had to try the Turkish coffee. This restaurant in Colton is a hidden Mediterranean Gem. We drove to Mr Kabob in Loma Linda to find out they were closed on Sundays. So we looked on Yelp and found Chick-N-Falafel . So we go to this restaurant , it's so clean and beautifully decorated. Family style, board games on the side , really!! We were greeted with a big smile and asked many questions about the menu , this kind gentleman Imad helped and guided us to savory dishes. I had a chicken Sharwarma wrap with fries and a lemon Mint drink and my hubby had the Beef Sharwarma meal. It was absolutely delicious. Freshly cooked. My wife and I were greeted by an incredible couple with big bright smiles, and a very welcoming attitude that accommodated us extremely well making sure everything we needed was taken care of we really felt like family. The food was amazing. Everything came out piping hot fresh real ingredients. The fried chicken was amazing seasoned to perfection. I also had a beef and lamb Shawarma and a chicken Shawarma and we're both top-tier the french fries I ordered in a small was big enough for me and my wife and I'm always hungry... my wife had a rice bowl with chicken Shawarma and veggies. I saw some chicken wings outside that caught my eye, even though it doesn't seem to be traditional from here and I tried them and definitely would recommend they had a great buffalo sauce on them, but I had to get something that was Representative of their ethnic cooking style which the owner recommended me to get the chicken Shawarma burrito. It was really good. The rice was greatly seasoned and it was a great portion for the price. Definitely split this and have for a two part meal. It came out hot fresh and ready and has good flavor. I did add some of the garlic sauce to it which enhance everything I would highly recommend this place and I think you won't be disappointed. We wanted to try this place out thanks to the high reviews but my partner & I didn't enjoy the food unfortunately. The family is super nice and the venue is big. We ordered two chicken rotisserie wraps and mine had 3 chunks of bone, which immediately took away from the experience for me. My partner is Turkish who is obsessed with wraps & found the chicken undercooked & needing more flavor, as he thought it was bland. I also felt the cucumber & pickle were sliced too big that it overrode the balance of getting a little bit of everything in a bite. The lavash was also not warm enough for our liking.
