I've been coming here for several years now post-Covid-19, and I've heard it's still maintained the quality of food. My group of four were the only ones in the restaurant during a Wednesday night dinner hour, and our server was very accommodating to our needs the entire time. We sat in the booth seats which were very comfy! My order was a chicken shawarma wrap which came with hummus and house salad (you could substitute it with Greek salad as well). Personally, I felt like the shawarma bread was quite dry, but the garlic sauce and hummus helped it out. The shawarma chicken was flavorful and filling! It was still very yummy the next day. I also loved how they served us warmed up pita bread after noticing ours was cooled down. I'll keep coming to support this local spot! read more

5/5 Syrian food. Stumbled upon this gem while pokehunting. My boyfriend and I have gone to around 8 different mediterranean places in SoCal. (WTfalalel, Zesty Shawarma, Luna Grill, Kabob Hutt, El Basha market, Kabab en Basha, Kava, etc...) This place had the best garlic sauce, hummus, great salad, rice was great, chicken was great over all. Service: 5 stars - super fast. Greeted upon entry. Very friendly. Ambiance: mid-scale vibes. It always feels good to be warmly greeted when coming to a new place. We were invited to choose our own seats, so we say by the window in a booth. The smiling waitress brought over our menus and took our drink orders. Mmm! I don't know what kind of iced tea it was, but it was delicious. My mom wanted hot tea, but she didn't want the Turkish variety with caffeine, so the waitress was kind to bring over hot water with lemon, which was perfect for my mom. We both felt that our dishes tasted fresh and were well seasoned. The Greek salad made my mouth water with the citrusy-herbal dressing, creamy feta, and crunchy cucumbers. My chicken skewers were flavorful, but I couldn't resist adding on garlic sauce. A very tasty lunch indeed! read more

Plenty of parking, which is always a plus! I came in around 3 PM and the restaurant wasn't too busy, just a few diners. I went straight to the counter to place a take-out order and was greeted by a gentleman who made me feel very welcome. I ordered the two-meat combo with Kafta and Beef. The portions of meat were a little on the thin side, but the flavor was definitely there. The rice was okay, and the plate also came with a side salad, hummus, and pickles. The pickles were so good--I wish I had ordered extra! Since tabbouli is one of my favorite salads, I added that on as well, and it did not disappoint--perfectly fresh with just the right amount of acidity. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit here. If I'm back in the area, I'd definitely come again to try some of their other dishes. read more

I was first through the door this morning and was immediately greeted with a hearty "Hello, welcome!" by both Sam and Leen. Unfortunately I did not have the time to sit in the clean and spacious restaurant to enjoy their delicious food. I did however take home a plate of their chicken kabob and 2 pieces of their baklava. The chicken was freshly grilled, tender and flavorful. The rice looks plain, yet whatever seasoning they use comes through beautifully. Sam and Leena are very friendly gracious. This place is so so delicious. They are always friendly and accommodating. I believe it's family run as well. The food is excellent. We love the 3 meat plate with chicken, steak, and shawarma. There's not a lot of Mediterranean places in the IE, so we finally decided to try Mr. Kebab. It's a typical family run restaurant with a menu you'd expect. We took one star off for the price. For the amount of food, we felt the prices were kind of steep. Also the pita isn't made in house which was disappointing. The food tasted great, no complaints there. Meats were well seasoned and tender. Rice was extremely fragrant. Service was also fast. Would return if I'm craving Mediterranean food and don't want to drive all the way to Rancho Cucamonga, otherwise we prefer Panini Kabob (similar quality of food, larger portion so better value). read more

We always time our arrival in Redlands (driving from Western Colorado) to eat at Mr. Kebab first thing. The food is fantastic! Flavorful, fresh, well-prepared, healthy, and portions are generous. I especially enjoy the falafel, kafta, shawarma, hummus, and the rice! Sam and his family are very welcoming and considerate. Knowing we travel with dogs, Sam is sure to seat us where we can see our vehicle All staff is very friendly, extremely efficient, and very attentive. The restaurant is clean and spacious. We ate there every day they were open. Before leaving, we purchased the five person family meal to put in the refrigerator of our motor home for meals during the drive back to Colorado. I used to live in Redlands, and one of the things I miss the most is the amazing food from Mr Kebab and great hospitality from ALL the family, especially Sam and Leen. Very high on my list of priorities when I am back visiting family is to eat as often as possible at Mr Kebab. Favorites are the hummus, tabouli, falafel, lentil soup, kafta, but everything is great. When I returned to Colorado, I purchased the Family Meal as it feeds 5 people, I would say that it would feed 7-9 people to be honest. The strong Turkish coffee was a great help on the long drive. I have not had Mediterranean food since the last time I was in Los Angeles, so I was very excited to try this spot based on their reviews. The waitress was efficient and friendly. She made sure to check up on me a few times. I came during lunch it was very peaceful and only three other tables occupied. Very clean and warming. In regard to the food everything was good and some things were delicious! I was very surprised the Greek salad was made with iceberg lettuce and had no Fetta. I did have to pay an extra $4 for side of Fetta. There were also no onions, no olives, and it lacked the usual lemon vinaigrette. It was good but I wasn't really a fan. I absolutely loved the lamb kabob but the chicken and beef were a little too chewy for me. It was not dry but very chewy unlike the tender meat I am used to. The rice was my favorite. It was cooked to perfection! I asked for a side of sumac and it made it even better! Pita came out fresh and warm. I did have to add a little salt to the hummus. It lacked lemon and garlic. I always order the mix plate of 3 with beef kebab, lamb kebab, and beef shwarma!
