Been wanting to try this place for a while and my husband finally took me. It's located inside / side by side of a gas station. They do have a drive thru which is such a great option. The prices were pretty decent. Got the churro bites with dip and it was great ! Made fresh. The last few pieces had too much sugar which I didn't like. The only downside is that the wait time in the drive thru and inside are insane. It took forever to order the drive thru and there wasn't anyone in front of me. We took a little drive to Colton to satisfy a churro craving and found this hidden gem inside a gas station. Honestly, if it weren't for Yelp, we would've never discovered it! The ladies working there were super friendly and helpful. They do have a drive-thru, but we decided to go inside so we could look over the menu. The Worst customer service Ive encountered doing yelp reviews. I dont like to do bad reviews but customer service is a big deal to me. This is what happened. Found Churrito Loco on yelp. We pulled up and It is attached to the gas station but it is closed off in its own space. We were the first customers there. We couldnt decide so we let a family go ahead of us. A few minutes later a bunch of ppl walked in so one of the workers suggested we use the kiosk to order. So we ordered a sundae and the kiosk asked if we wanted a mazapan sundae we were like heck yes!!. Sounds delicious. It didnt have a picture it but it charged us and we thought that was it. We waited for our order.. Then, the same worker who told us to use the kiosk walks over and says, " what did you order?" We told her what the kiosk said. Churro sundae with mazapan topping. She walks away like she's upset with us. My husband says thank you. She turned her back and walked away. We thought she went back to make the churro sundae. Its been at least 15 minutes everyone has already been served a family of 5 and two seperate couples and she walks back and says the churros you ordered are filled. What do you want it filled with?" They still hadnt made our order yet. At this point I didnt like how she was acting toward us. I explained, all we wanted was the sundae with mazapan sprinkled on top. THEN.. she goes back to the kitchen clearly annoyed. At this point im upset and my husband is trying to be nice and tries to thank her again. She just turns her back and keeps walking. Thats 2x's he said thank you and she turned her back on him. Few more minutes pass and now, there's only two ppl in there besides us and she yells our number once and then proceeds to yell it in a louder more aggravated tone and then laughs. Mind you we've been here quite a while waiting patiently for our order (she's walked over twice to clarify our order already) she's couldnt call us nicely or better yet walk it over and say sorry for the misunderstanding or thank you for waiting. She just laughed and handed over the order. Very rude customer service by this worker. I would not recommend this place. I will give it a 2 star because all the other workers seemed friendly. The churros and sundae were 7/10 but not worth the wait or the experience. If you decide to try this place I would suggest ordering with the cashier dont order from the kiosk. Good luck. read more

Very clean little churro spot that's attached to a gas station. I got the 16 piece churro bites for around $8, which I felt was reasonably priced. It comes with your choice of dipping sauce, so I got raspberry. Order came out in a little over 10 minutes and they come out super hot and fresh. The churros are on the softer/underfried side rather than it being crispier. I also wish it had more cinnamon on its coating. The raspberry sauce was pretty good, just a little artificial. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Churrito Loco for many years, dating back to when the business was only located in Moreno Valley. I have consistently supported both the Moreno Valley and Colton locations and have always had positive experiences--until my visit last night at the Colton drive-thru. The drive-thru speaker had extremely poor feedback, making it difficult to hear the order taker. The employee taking orders, Leticia, was very rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. My order has remained the same for years and has never been an issue at any location. This time, Leticia stated she could not complete my order as requested, claiming she could not override the system, and told me I would need to speak to a manager instead of seeking assistance from coworkers or attempting to resolve the issue herself. When I asked if the ice cream could be placed in a separate container--something that has routinely been done for me without any problems--she appeared irritated, responded dismissively by saying "Is that it?", and then slammed the drive-thru window shut. Additionally, despite it being Tuesday (when churros are advertised at $1.50 each), I was charged full price. This was very disappointing and unacceptable. I want to note that the young male employee at the front is always polite, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the experience with Leticia overshadowed everything else. If I had been a first-time customer passing through, this interaction would have ensured I never returned. If you get this, don't be afraid to let the icecream melt into it because ours was pretty crunchy! I've been here twice already, just used the drive thru so I can't really comment on the ambiance, but they do have an indoor dining room if you wanna sit down and enjoy your sweets. Both times I've come here I ordered the guava filled churros and they're pretty damn good. The fried banana with lechera are also really good. They have a plethora of items, even elote & hot dogs. Next item on my list to try is the churro funnel cake. Customer service is courteous & efficient even when they're busy. I tried both the cheesecake and strawberry filled churros and they were so good, I couldn't resist... I went right back through the line and ordered another round! There aren't many places that you can get churros without getting out your car. Area felt clean and safe. I've been here twice and both times were by using the drive thru. Huge plus ! The first time I ordered Nutella filled churros, that was a 10/10 I hugely recommend. I plan on coming back for these. It was crisp on the outside and soft gooey on the inside. The second time I order the churro funnel cake. This was more a 6/10. The churro funnel was just too hard and difficult to bite into. That being said, the more the ice cream melted and soaked into the churro funnel, the better it got. Service was okay. Both times I felt rushed but I understand that they are busy. Churrito Loco is my new favorite foodie spot! I had been looking on Yelp for something Instagram worthy and I stumbled across Churrito Loco's Hot Cheetos Chicken Tamales! I sped across town to get to Moreno Valley in time before they closed because I knew I had to try this tamale! I am a tamale lover and also a lover of hot chips, it just sounded like the perfect cheat meal. I was kind of worried that they would be sold out as it was close to the end of the day, but still rushed over to at least try. Upon arrival, the place was busy with a line, but parking was easy. In the last 15 minutes of the day, folks were inside trying get various treats they have. They are really popular for desserts as that was the main choice of all the customers who were there. When it was my turn to order, to my surprise, they still had tamales even at the EOD! I ordered excitedly and waited briefly for my order to come out. Let me tell you, this was juicy, super pigmented, had a good kick of spice, and was extremely flavorful. My favorite park was dipping it in nacho cheese and pouring some Hot Cheetos crumbs on top. Although the staff were friendly, the food wasn't worth the money nor the hype. The churro sundae was okay, but the Elotes hotdog and churro smores just didn't leave a good impression. Either there was a big piece of bacon fat or undercooked piece of bacon in my hotdog, either way I was left feeling sickened thinking it must've been undercooked pork which can lead to some bad food poisoning. The churro smores was melted when I got home and the marshmallow was melted over everything making it difficult to enjoy.
