The young lady who assisted me is very sweet and I thank her for her assistance but the cake I ordered at 9 am 11/9/2020 is the saddest baby shower cake I've ever seen. I asked them to make something cute and festive for a baby shower but this is what I got when I arrived this morning. I could have made this at home for about 5 dollars. I paid $50 and I am not happy, I could have gone to Stater Brothers and got a much better looking cake. It did not need the cake to be custom but it should have more character. Whomever created this cake did not even try it's as simple as creating a sheet cake. You live and learn. This is horrible.

Very disappointed ordered tamales for the holidays not only were they $3 each! (Which I would not mind if they were worth it.) They were not. They had the smallest amount of meat possible and all masa. Here's a picture of what you will get for $3. Never again.

We ordered from them less than a week in advance with some inspiration pictures for a smash cake. They were very responsive and nice. The service was great when we arrived to pick up the cake, the man behind the counter was very personable and helpful. The cake came out so cute! It was exactly what we asked for. We will definitely be going back in the future.

I brought my own mug to get my coffee and for my surprise the lady charged me $3.50 cause she said the mug looks big but in reality inside the measure is the same from one of their large sizes and the price is $2.50. I see they are hunger to make money, but ripping people like that is a NO-NO. $3.50 it's what I paid at Starbucks for a venti cup of coffee, and the city wants people to support local vendors. I say NO way !

I can't speak for any other cakes, but there tres leches cake are always SO GOOD! This is my second time ordering a tres leche with them and they have yet to disappoint. The first one was an already made tres leches which was really good, this time around I ordered a custom one and it came out fantastic! He even printed out the picture I wanted and made me a cute sign to go with it. (The number and candles were mine)

This tres leches coffee cake with peaches and strawberries was a massive hit at my friends birthday. We couldn't stop eating it the whole trip. They wrapped it up neatly and had it ready for me as I was on the road to the mountains. read more

This place right here is the bomb! Let me start off with one morning I needed a cake urgently for my sons birthday and I called everywhere and ofcourse I did not want to go to super or others because I have had terrible experience there with dryyyyy cakes including the tres leches ones ughh... anyways I called here and they had it all I called early too like 7:00 am anyways I go there and the lady is so nice the cakes were exactly what I had been looking for, for years! They had fruits in between the whole cake. And when I tell you it was fresh fruits ! It was fresh fruits! The cake was a 20/10 never before have I tried such delicious cake. Yes I told all my people about it because they need to support this amazing family business!.. the young lady helping me was amazing she went above and beyond and even added a few free dinosaur toys for my sons cake! How lovely and she watched me as I walked away to my car to ensure I was safe. Now that's what I call quality business!! Definitely coming here for all special occasions! Thank you! read more

I needed a last minute SpongeBob themed birthday cake. I called & placed the order on Thurs to pick up Fri. I talked to Justin & he was the sweetest, very understanding & patient with all the questions I had. We got tres leches cake with strawberry filling & had to drive it to San Diego to surprise the birthday boy. Safe to say the cake was beautiful, delicious, & the customer service was phenomenal. Will definitely be returning. read more

I went 1st thing in the morning (7a.m.) on Saturday. I needed pastries for a funeral that afternoon. I noticed two trays of the small conchas (0.75 x 48) and asked the young lady if I could take purchase both trays. She said yes and asked if I needed a box and I replied that would be great. (She never mentioned the box was $5 extra). Then and older lady from the back asked if I had special ordered them. I said no, I was asked to bring pastries for a funeral the night before. She replied rudely that next time I needed to order ahead of time. Honestly, I'm a business owner myself, if someone came in and wanted to buy a huge amount of my inventory I'd be happy. Then I asked the young lady to give me $10 worth of the small cookies. She divided them into two plastic trays. I went to pay and was charged $57.20. As I was driving i calculated and realized I was overcharged. I called and spoke to the young lady. Explained that the conchas totaled $36 and cookies $10. Why was I charged $57.20. That's when she mentioned the box was $5 for the conchas and each small tray for the cookies were $2.50 each and because I used my debit card there was an additional fee. I have never been charged for a cake box, cookie box or any pastry box at any bakery. That's part of your business. So if I ordered a cake, would I be charged for a box? Absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER give them an future business. And I will be sure to let people know. There are plenty other panaderias in town. read more

to start this off ... I went in to go look for a cake for MY BIRTHDAY the first impression was I didn't know if it was open their were no lights or signs to indicate it.Then we weren't pleasantly greeted whatsoever, the young man with glasses could not get off his phone to acknowledge me nor my significant other even while asking questions .Even when answering he wouldn't get off his phone and every question seemed like a bother to him. After all that, I asked for an estimate and it took him 2-3 minutes for him to get off his phone and give me an answer all with a very rude demeanor. I would not recommend this place the prices aren't competitive. With bad customer service why would I purchase anything from here ? read more

I found them on yelp wanting a really great pastel de tres leches for my husbands birthday, I ordered Saturday for Monday they said no problem cake would be ready at 11am on Monday. I get here at 10:30 and it is not even started on. They didn't have bananas. What? Crazy lame excuse. How unprofessional and sad. I never got a call. I came from two hours away. She dared to say "well it's 10:30 I still have half an hour" (are you going to make a custom cake in 30 minutes, man you are good) Before I lost my shit I just told her to refund me. Copy of check attached. Save yourself the trouble and DONT order from here. Huge disappointment. I will make it my life's mission for all my IE friends and family to never buy anything from this place ever. #boycottjosiesbakery If you want to right this wrong make this cake and deliver it by 6 PM. read more

If I could give a zero I would. How are you going to accept an order, change the pricing several times. Get annoyed when you get asked reasonable questions then cancel 2 days before the event. There's a guy named Justin who works the front..so unprofessional! If he is assisting, ask for someone else! He changed prices and just made the whole experience dreadful and canceled 2 days before event.. Have worked with this bakery in the past but will never do service here again read more

I waited last minute to order my husband and my son's birthday cakes (born on the same day, but I get two cakes) because I've been working a lot. I just "broke up" with my last bakery because the quality and customer service deteriorated over the years.. did a lot of research on which Bakery I would want to try for this birthday and I was not disappointed! I added the toppers after I received the cakes, but the cakes tasted great, weren't dry and looked very similar to the pictures of cakes I gave them to emulate! I think I found my forever-bakery (: and the lady was so patient and nice! Only con is the bakery was hotter than satan's armpit! Please patronize their business so they can get some A/C up in there! Cakes use to be great! The 3 leches cake and use to be the bomb but the last 2 cakes were dry and the filling was incorrect! And when I tried calling to have the cake replaced I was the bad guy! I even took the cake back, and they didn't care, If i could give it 0 stars I would! read more

I ordered two custom donut themed cakes from this place last May/June 2021. Specifically gave instructions on the design and wanted pastel colors. They charged $60 for each cake, so I was expecting very nice cakes, although they told me that they cannot add "donut" decorations on it. Well okay, fine just follow my instructions. When I came to pickup the cakes, the colors were totally off. They used dark colors, bluish purple, which does not match my theme and obviously not pastel. They forgot to add the ages of my kids so they just gave me numbered candles, which I suggested, instead of offering the idea to me. The cakes were loopy and just not worth $60 each. For $60 bucks, you would think they can be creative and add some donut decorations or actual donuts, and look good and pricey, but nope. I was really upset but it was too late. Seriously, I could have went to Ralph's and the cakes would have been so much nicer. Happy that others are happy with their cakes, but I was not and I hate this place. I recommend Cari's Homestyle Bakery in Colton. They have great prices, great customer service, and follows instructions to a T! read more

I ordered a cake for a special occasion the decor looked like it was done by a 5 year old. The cake was loppy. However the taste was really good. Not worth $95 dollars tho. I decided to go back and get a tres leches cake because the last one tasted so good. Well this cake was dry the strawberries were old and starting to get that gray mushy color the frosting was hard not smooth and fresh like the first cake. It was like I was at a total different bakery. When I told the lady they made me drive back and scolded me saying I'm the one that who doesn't understand what a tres leches cake is. They said the cake was a three day old cake but still considered fresh. The "manager" is so rude. I continued to be pleasant took my money and walked out. Never again going back! The cake was definitely old and it showed. The strawberries were sour. The cake looked 1 week old. Yet I was in the wrong. I would have went back if she would have been polite about it. It was like she made me go back to humiliate me in front of the other customers. I left feeling angry with myself for not standing up to her. As I waited for my refund another unhappy customer was complaining about a different item. Left a bad taste in my mouth. All the negative reviews are right. read more

What a great group of ladies! We were looking for a replacement wedding cake, because tragedy struck and someone ruined the cake we called these ladies 30min before closing and they were very accommodating, understanding and delivered a beautiful cake in a very short time. They could have easily turned us away, but thankfully did not. I am very thankful and wish nothing but great things for this business. I would recommend this bakery to anybody!!! They were all so good, freshly made and packed with deliciousness inside each tamale. My favorite one is the jalapeño with cheese they were spicy but not an overwhelming heat. Honestly it had just enough heat to enjoy and taste it. They all were great and not dry at all. The service was amazing, they always have long lines and at times it can be wrapped around the building. The staff has a great system in place allowing the wait time to be about 6-8 minutes long from start to finish (10 minutes on a busy day). If you are wise don't go alone and have someone tag along. One person to get in line while the other parks-- then one person to get Mexican bread while the other waits in line for the tamales. The inside has a small feel to it only because of the amount of customers they have at any given time. I walked in with what seemed like a short line, only for it to feel smaller in a matter of minutes with many more customers arriving. Overall I would recommend to try them out and see how great they are. Lastly, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful !

Literally took a chance and came down here from Fontana for my wife's birthday cake, we got the chocolate oreo and it was jaw dropping, taste is of highest quality!
