Driven by SO many times, finally stopped in! I really wanted to like it but it's not what I expected. Cashier was great and extremely friendly. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie, their frosted sugar cookie & their dirty soda "State Street." The soda was delicious! Both cookies were bland. The chocolate in the chocolate chip cookie wasn't good quality. And the frosted cookie wasn't anything I wanted to take another bite of. I went to cookie co recently for the first time. I found out about them online under the name Hot Box cookies. Apparently they have renamed or rebranded since they don't exist on maps under that name anymore. Cookie Co is very similar to crumble cookie if you are familiar. They sell Jumbo cookies with different flavors that rotate weekly with a few base ones. The inside of the store was very cozy with chairs and tables for eating. They also had some of their own merch for sale in the store. I got the classic chocolate chip cookie. It's flavor was amazing. Thick and Crunchy on the outside, soft inside. Despite it's fantastic taste, it didn't sit well, and left me with a very annoying heartburn that flared up for almost two days. I am a very active person and usually eat very healthy so heartburn is not something I get often. When it comes to cookies I use to go to crumbles in Los Angeles but ever since I moved to Redlands I kept seeing this place every time my husband and I drive around downtown Redlands. We stopped by here on our way to California - it wasn't a planned stop but we saw the shop as we were about to charge our car and decided to try it out. I have a huge sweet tooth so a local cookie shop? Yes please! We ordered 4 cookies - for $16 - and decided on two chocolate chip (can't go wrong with that right?) and two of their pumpkin cookies, which were seasonal. Unfortunately, I have to say that the chocolate chip cookies were one of the most basic ones I have had - they did not wow me at all. In fact, I would say the chocolate chips themselves were the star of the show because the rest of the cookie did not have much flavor. It was chewy, which I liked, but tasted super bland other than the chocolate chips. The pumpkin cookies, on the other hand, were AMAZING! Which is why I'm giving a 3 star versus a 2 star rating. These were so chewy, moist and flavorful - just oh so good! And the cream cheese frosting was "the cherry on top" so to speak. Definitely a great addition to the cookie and made it worth the $4 per cookie! Lastly, I do want to say that the cookies were pretty pricey. Now, like I said, I am totally onboard with paying for a good cookie (reference the pumpkin cookies example above) BUT, $16 for 4 cookies that didn't really meet expectations (and $45 for a dozen)? Just an FYI, parking can get kinda tight in the attached lot ! It's a cute small cookie shop. Loved the artwork outside and inside. They also have other neat trinkets and merch for sale. My spider senses were tingling and hoping they were cooked all the way through. After cutting one into fours at home, I noticed sadly they are very underbaked despite their crispy edges. I've seen this place for a while. For swine reason I thought it was Crumbl cookie which I have yet to try. Located in the packing house district, Cookie Covid in a great location. Similar to Crumbl, they have a weekly menu that changes and you get the option of four cookies. The good thing is if you like variety or trying new cookies all the time, the menu changes. With only four cookies at a time one week might offer more exciting selections than the next week. For my first visit, I only decided to do the key lime being it was the most unique. I almost went for the brookie also. Key lime pie was delish for sure and had me wishing their was something equally exciting to try, but maybe next week. The store location is very nice. This place is an experience. As soon as you open the door the smell of super sweet cookies hits your nose. My daughter was so excited & thrilled by that alone. First time trying this place out. We were recommended here. If you chocolate chip cookies that are super soft & gooey this is the place. I must admit the price was a little pricey for my liking but the taste was great. The cookies are huge. They're like 3 cookies into one. I can't wait to try my chocolate chip cookie warmed up with a glass of milk. The chocolate chips melt in your mouth. We grabbed a mixed dozen to bring to a family Mother's Day picnic the next day. Of course the kids loved them. The adults had mixed opinions about the taste. They were good but not great. This is an update to my original review. A good friend dropped off 2 cookies - a welcomed treat! The colorful cookie is Cookie Co's Raspberry Cheesecake. It's built upon a soft graham cracker base, topped with white frosting with Raspberry drizzle. This cookie is guaranteed to satisfy any sweet tooth or quell any need for a sugar rush. We found the graham cracker cookie base to be the main flavor. The darker cookie with chocolate dipped pretzel on top is their Take 5. This is essentially a soft peanut butter cookie with caramel bit and chocolate bits and topped with Carmel drizzle. We nuked this for a few seconds and ate it with a fork. Very sweet goodness (we are PB fans) and the pretzel, when cut up, added a nice crunch to the chew. read more

What began in Redlands during the height of the pandemic in 2020 quickly became a cookie sensation; now with shops in over a dozen states!! And it all started in Redlands! Cookie Co is located on Stuart, situated in between the Trader Joe's plaza and The Packinghouse District. Every week they offer 6 different kinds of cookies, with new offerings they rotate in and out of the mix. Simply put, all of their offerings are a total mouthgasm of taste. One of their logos is "Real Eggs, Real Butter, Real Sugar" and wow does it show. Their cookies are absolutely delicious. I've never had a bad offering here. They also offer a unique selection of specialty soda concoctions to wash the cookies down with. What the wife and I also enjoy is they have a section in the store featuring creations from local-area artisans for sale. Candles, jewelers, clothes, etc. This really add a unique local flavor to everything. The employees here are always friendly and happy to make suggestions. My only minor complaint is the parking area for here is the size of a postage stamp! And backing out of the handicapped spot can be very risky. Still, there is a large parking structure across the street where you can park more easily. Nothing but 5 stars for this place. You must stop by and treat yourself to a cookie or 4 when you're in the area! read more
