Took my teenagers here to look at stickers, markers, and journals. Didn't find anything we really liked, and I noticed hardly anything was on sale. I've been a Michaels shopper for ages and always felt it was such a fun, relaxing, and inspiring place to shop. This time I was disappointed in the high prices, lack of deals, ugly stickers (like the same old s*** they've been selling for decades-- same boring styles), and only a 20% off coupon instead of the old 40-50% off. The florals had some beautiful and interesting choices but mostly everything else is severely lacking in style and character. I'm sure this isn't the fault of this particular location-- it's just the way the company is run by those in charge. They need to get rid of the old regime and hire some fresh, creative minds who have insight into current and up-and-coming arts & crafts trends, seriously. Like, do a partnership with Mai Do and have a super cool aisle of proper stationery and journaling stuff (a suggestion).

This Michaels is always stocked full of crafts and D.I.Y. items and is open 7 days a week! Since quarantine began I've never noticed a line to get in to this store and there are employees at the front tracking the number of people that enter the store. My recent visit, I was looking for Valentine's decorations and stumbled across the black history month craft section which I thought was cool! Not sure if Hobby Lobby carries these, but kudos to Michaels for coming out with this. The staff are always helpful and I know there's usually a coupon available either in my junk mail or online that gives you 20% off a regular priced purchase.

Great store for art and decorator lover! They have everything from papers to wood matérias to canvas and art supply even baking supplies, decorations for any season, is wall to wall of cool stuff, quite fun to spend time and look at all the isles. But try to find an associate to help you and you are in trouble... seems like only 2 people are running this entire store disappointed! Waiting in line 18 minutes because only 1 cashier was open. More customer service #Michaels and I will upgrade on your starts!

I'm so fed up with this Michaels. They seriously can't process online orders. When I went to pick my yarn up I got a returned ball with masking tape on it. I don't care so much it was returned but the tape ruined the yarn a bit, yanking at the fibers. I made my blanket anyway but when I ran out of yarn I ran to joann for another ball. Same brand, same name, same number. I know joann didn't mess up because their ball was wrapped and new. Looking closely at the fibers you can tell it was the wrong brand. It looks like a Caron one pound, not lion brand. I've given the employees so many chances but I guess labeling and reading numbers is too hard. I can't wait for this to be over so I can shop for my own yarn. This, along with the horrendous wait lines I mentioned prior, is ridiculous and this michaels needs to shape up big time.

I had a custom frame order. when I picked up my custom frame painting it was reframed in the original frame with new staples on the back of the frame. I did not get the frame I paid for $215.28 my painting was wrapped and ready for me to pick up. When, I noticed it was the same frame I asked to speak to the manager for a refund and she was more concerned about who made the mistake. She said, the male manager that works in the framing department is gone for the day and she couldn't give me a refund. I called the corporate office case #07266028. Now I have to wait 48 hours to see if I can get a refund of $215.28 Do not go to Rancho Cucamonga for custom framing they do not know what they are doing.

Can't even see the rip in the diploma! They covered it up with the navy blue mat.

Have you considered having more people working the registers during lunch time hours? Most people can't wait 30 minutes in line.

This Michael's is a bit out of my way, but I went there yesterday because I needed black poster…read moreboard which was out of stock in La Verne. It appears bigger and seems to have more variety of things than my local Michael's. Like another Yelper mentioned, they have a balloon service and yesterday they had at least 5 balloon bouquets ready to be picked up! I wish I had taken a picture. It is a bit of a maze but since I was talking to my daughter on the phone anyway, I walked every aisle and appreciated all the variety of items available, from figurines for DIY dollhouses or dioramas, to fabrics, to dozens of types of yarn, to silk flowers, to frames, to paper products such as the black poster board I needed. Two staff up front helping people, even though you basically use a touchscreen--one was guiding an older customer how to navigate the touchscreen, and the other was helping a young person use her gift card. Michael's is just a place that makes me happy to walk into because it's bright, inviting, and allows people to explore or dive deeper into their creative side.

I…read morewas easily able to place an order for my husband's birthday balloons online and within a short timeframe, I stopped in to pick-up. They even allow you to bring in your own balloons to inflate! Beyond balloons, this location has everything to decorate your home for the holidays and any supplies needed to craft, paint, design, etc. I find the staff to always be friendly here and there's a ton of coupons easily available online.

I've never experienced something this ridiculous at Michaels…read more I came in, picked out and PAID for balloon bouquets, only to be told it would be a 5-hour wait to inflate them because of online orders take priority. FIVE HOURS while I'm physically standing in the store. What made it worse? One employee said there were 4 online orders ahead of me, then another (who processed my refund) said 8. Which is it? 4? 8? 20? Why does that somehow equal a 5-hour wait for something that takes minutes? There was no one else waiting in-store, yet I was told online orders come first and my only option was a refund. So you'll take my money, but can't take 5 minutes to help an in-store customer? And to further elaborate, as the employee was processing my return, I asked just one more time if they really couldn't inflate my balloons while I was there and she said no that they have 8 online orders they have to do first. I ended the short conversation with "wow, okay." This is beyond poor service, it's disorganized and unacceptable. If this is your policy, it needs to be clearly communicated BEFORE customers waste their time shopping. I expect a response from management regarding this issue, because this experience was handled terribly from start to finish.
