Finished bday party birdhouses
Eric P.

We came by for a birthday party. It was an arts and crafts birthday that was hosted in one of their private rooms. Hostess/artist was for party was very nice and good with the kids. The room is a little small and I guess really is supposed to house the kids only? Most of the parents wanted to stay and the hostess was very nice about it and accommodating. With the artists instruction, the kids painted a birdhouse, and a squegee type painting. Paints, brushes and anything else required were provided and goodie bags were handed out at the end. All in all a good party!

Drove 30 minutes to pickup my order and after scanning I see there's tons of damage on it. To think this would be ok is crazy. What a waste of time!

My Christmas Pine Arch

I decided I needed a new theme for my outdoor Christmas decorations. I threw out 20 big trash bags. of broken, outdated ornaments. I wanted to get clear plastic decorations for my Sunday school class to decorate one for their tree. I knew Michael's sold them so off I went. I checked my email for coupons and set about buying them. I noticed an outdoor holiday pine arch with white lights. It was half off so I could not say no. I was looking for stickers and paint for my Sunday School class so along came Xoch. She was the most knowledgeable, creative, warmest associate ever. She helped me with creative ideas and finding the items to make those ideas a reality. She is awesome! I really enjoyed myself. They have animated Halloween items as well there are Thanksgiving arts and crafts and there is everything Christmas you would ever want. It's like walking into A Disneyland of arts and crafts. You can make anything your imagination comes up with. They also have a Framing section as well as jewelry making. The store is very organized and definitely packed.

Michaels has everything you need for crafts. They have fake plants, trees, picture frames, coloring boards, paint craft tools, and candy. The service is OK, they do not have a lot of workers to assist you, especially in the paint and picture area. Great prices when they have a sale. Some items can still be overpriced with sales depending on the item. Lots of parking.

Clear glass ornament (I bought in a pack of 8 for 6.99 + 40% off).

I came by earlier this month to grab some items to spruce up our place for the holidays - they had a 40% sale on all Christmas items, which is one of the things I appreciate about Michaels - there's always a sale of some kind. In addition to a few fun pieces, like the faux pine decoration, I grabbed some clear glass ornaments (pack of 8 for 6.99 + 40% off) to fill with different colored acrylic paint to make my own ornaments. I grabbed white paint, green paint, and red paint, and mixed white with either the green, or red to make some fun globe-like ornaments. For a full DIY tutorial check out my IG ( @snack.a.saurus.rex )! This location has a bunch of new self-checkout options, which was kind of cool, and made for a faster check out. Note: self-checkout is for credit/debit only! Check it out!

This is definitely the place to go for your crafting needs. I'm always in here for my decorating or baking decor supplies. Customer service is always good and it is always kept very organized. They do run out of seasonal things pretty quickly so I usually go right when they start to stock up. There is also a huge parking lot, so parking is never an issue here. So if you are feeling creative this is your go to place!

I've worked in so many different forms of customer service that I'm genuinely surprised about how my last experience was. I walked in. The guy, had already weighed my item that I was trying to sell when he told me that the diamonds inside of it weren't gonna be appraised because of whatever. He also said he could take them out. At this point, he already given me a figure. And offered me my diamonds back. So I asked for them back. This is probably my second time selling them a jewelry item with gemstones in it and yet the first time that they told me that they don't appraise them when selling. That everything is on the weight of the metal. Really would've liked to know that when I sold them my diamond earrings, the second time. Back to my story the guy sitting next to the guy that I am dealing with who I assume is either the manager or the owner chimes in to tell his employee to adjust the number since I'm asking for the gemstones back. And me being a good person I agree because I assumed it changed the weight. Turns out it didn't. Because I was with somebody else when I walked in and they watched them weigh the weight twice and the weight not change either time. So why does the value change? Better yet why is this manager or owner doing this in front of a customer so vocally that I feel bad? Wouldn't the professional thing to do be let this transaction go on since this person has already been quoted, the price has already been written down, and your staff member has already said they could give me the gemstones back. As well as it being re-weighed and the weight not changing. In my opinion, there's two options in this scenario as the boss guy in charge. Wait for the transaction to be done and then explain to the employee what they did wrong and how it may or may not affect their job going forward. Or stop the transaction politely ask to take your employee to the side. Have them sit there as you explain what's going wrong then come back to the customer and say I'm sorry for xyz. But that didn't happen. What happened was frankly a rude scenario and I have this guy's face now embedded into my head with the stink look of oh my God you're gonna sell that for that price to this person forever in there. I get it you would've made more money if you had kept the gemstones. You could've sold the piece as a whole piece instead of melting it down. However, that is not my problem when your employee offers it after quoting me the price. Let alone not my fault when that employee wave said object, objects, and the weight didn't change. Yet somehow the quote did. This is shady business practices at very best.

Instead of offering flexibility, I was told the reservation would be canceled if I didn't come in that same day and that no refund would be issued. To me, this shows a lack of respect for customers' needs and circumstances, especially when those needs are based on faith. A reasonable business would provide at least a basic window of time or accommodation. Because of this rigid and dismissive policy, I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend that anyone considering a reservation carefully confirm the store's pickup terms in advance. I originally posted this review some time ago, and I stand by my experience. Rather than pressuring to have negative reviews removed, businesses should focus on improving how they treat their customers. My experience was real, and I believe it's important to share it so others can make an informed choice.

The studio has a really wonderful, creative energy that I looked forward to every week. It served as a great 'sensory reset' and a way to focus purely on the tactile experience of the clay. Particularly seeing other members body of work. My only minor wish for the future would be a bit more shelf space for student projects! As I got more into the flow of creating, I found myself wishing there was more room to store work-in-progress pieces between sessions. Each purchase of a course provides access to membership hours where you can come in practice before the classes. They provide the base tools in a black case and if you need more clay it's $25. That being said, the quality of instruction and the community more than make up for it. I'm so happy with the projects I made and I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a new creative outlet! As a note there's a waiting list to become a member after completing the course. So don't hesitate!
