I'm going to keep this short because it's not worth my time, but I purchased a VG3-540 back in October 2024 and have to say the customer service was abysmal! To start, the salesperson on the phone never mentioned that I would need a Windows operating system when they sold me the printer/vinyl cutter. That's a big oversight in my opinion. In addition to this, the person who installed it dropped it off and gave me a 10-minute walkthrough (at best) of how to operate the printer. Keep in mind, we're an educational institution and this is the first printer we've ever owned. He proceeded to tell me that it would take another couple thousand dollars to have a more in-depth explanation of how to operate the printer though he had enough time to tell me all sorts of stories from his childhood. For the price we paid, I'd expect a thorough walkthrough. As a comparison, we bought a Trotec laser last year and their customer service has been unmatched in my experience with companies like McLogan. The staff at McLogan could learn a thing or two from the Trotec business model. Due to McLogan's hands-off approach to supporting their customers, I've had to learn everything on my own which is much slower than getting the support you hope for from these authorized dealers. First off I will start by saying I will NEVER buy a single thing from this establishment again. I'm in the printing and sign business and what I saw today was incomprehensible!! I cannot understand how a company is ran with such lack luster customer service and furthermore horrible business sense! I was trying to return a couple unused rulers for either a store credit or a refund that I was told over the phone is no problem. As long as I have the original sales receipt and the products were unused which they were. I had bought the rulers a few months ago and they were around $70 for the pair. These rulers could have easily been resold as brand new since they were both unused. Once coming into the store a nice gentlemen behind the counter proceeded to tell me the manager Joanna said it's past our return policy date and I can't honor the return. I proceeded to mention to him who I was and what I was told over the phone prior regarding the return. From there he proceeded to go back into the manager office to see what he could do. Again coming out and saying "sorry we can't help you." This is absolutely ASTOUNDING to me how this was handled! The manager Joanna didn't even get up out of her seat to come out of the office and formally meet me and tell me this to my face. She just passed the buck along to a nice employee to take the bullets for her horrible management decision. I would literally be concerned for the owners Joe, Jayne and Jim if I had such an incompetent manager making decisions like this. Either way I will continue to give my business to other more reputable sign distributors before I EVER step foot in this building or buy a single thing from this company. I have been a costumer here for the last 17 years I drove here all the way from Ventura to purchase some ink for my business I asked the person on the front desk if I could use the restroom, he answered no it's for employees only, then I waited 15 minutes to purchase the ink and they didn't have it . Then I asked again and I told the guy that now it's an emergency if there's a possibility to ask the manager if I can use the restroom, he went to the office and came back and said No it's for employees only. Personally I won't support this rude customer service I'm done with this store and I will be ordering online somewhere else. read more

Sign painters, graphic designers, artists, designers, all creatives unite!!! This is by far the best supply store. I always discover new products and services here. They provide decently competitive rates for products and services, wish they would give an industry discount or some kind of working artist discount. But I'm almost certain almost all their customers are working in the industry. There are other locations available but this is their main hub and they are always fully stocked. Also this is their largest location and never any lines or wildness. The city locations are always pretty packed due to the smaller store sizes. Overall love them so much and would highly recommend. Plenty of parking, safe and clean facility. read more

I've been coming here for years for my family business; my mom and grandpa have been coming to McLogan even longer, before they even had a Chatsworth location. I can say of the handful of supply companies we deal with, McLogan is by far the most amazing! The staff is ridiculously friendly, happy, and knowledgeable; if they don't know something they'll find out for you; if they don't have a product you want/need, they'll offer a comparable alternative or try to get it ordered. I can't stress enough how much their phenomenal attitudes and personal dedication to make me a happy customer make my day. It's a family owned and operated business and, especially if you're a regular, they make you feel like family. We bought a Roland printer from them years ago and Jesse was a god send. He was patient, informative, and always took time out of his day if I was struggling with something. I've learned a lot more since then but I never would have gotten through it without his insane knowledge base on printers. My mom and I actually argue who gets to go to McLogan to pick up supplies.
