This is the $17.79 chihuahua burrito. I wouldn't feed this to my dog and it's an absolute abomination to Mexican food.

This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my entire life. I tried to eat it, because I was hungry. Obviously. It was disgusting. I ordered the Chihuahua burrito and another burrito and some chips and salsa, and it came to around $46. What a joke.

If I could give Mi Tierra 10 stars I would. The location is great- the ambiance is casual and comfortable. The staff is wonderful. The menu is big. The food service is fast. The food is hot and delicious every time. The cocktails are delicious. The fountain Coke Zero is the crispiest around. And it's all super affordable and I leave happy every time. Definitely a hidden gem, tucked away behind Walmart in Fort Wright, if you're looking for great mexican food or somewhere new to try, this is the spot.

My husband, grown daughter and myself went to Mi Tierra earlier tonight. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was great. Everything cooked to perfection. It was delicious. The staff were very courteous and filled our glasses often. A very nice dinner.

Needed a quick lunch after visiting Walmart and this spot was pretty empty at 12 on a Monday. Service was pretty fast even with a large party. Loved that the salsa comes in carafes with little dishes you can pour individual servings into. Everyone in our group got their food as ordered and we all enjoyed it. I can't wait to come back for margaritas, because the bar looked like it would be great during Happy Hour.

The best Mexican food in Northern Ky, authentic salsa, hot chips and great margarita. The enchilada sauce is to die for. Love this place.

I came to NKY for a Christmas visit, and my family brought us here, claiming the fajitas were A+. Being accustomed to top notch Mexican food in Colorado, I doubted any place in KY would knock my socks off, but I was wrong! This place is awesome! The Chips and Salsa were house made and delicious! I had to convince myself to stop gobbling them up to leave room for dinner. I ordered the Fajitas Texanas with Shrimp and marinated beef, and they were the best fajitas I've ever had. They came sizzling on a cast iron with veggies. The roasted tomatoes were soooo good. The side dish with all the fajita fixings was plentiful and delicious! My husband's frozen margarita was also delicious. This restaurant is a favorite of my family's! Highly recommend!

This spot was great! It was clean, tables were spaced out, and staff was friendly. I had a margarita and arroz con pollo. They were both great and inexpensive. I will be back in the future.

We go here from time to time. The interior is colorful, pretty clean, and roomy. Compared to similar restaurants in the area, the food is a tad pricey. I usually get the mixed fajitas for one. Its good, served hot and what I expect. The chicken nachos are a nice appetizer but it's inconsistent. Sometimes there's a noticeable difference in chicken, other times the entire order seems smaller. Nothing realy bad to say, but nothing great either. It's good, not fantastic.

It was definitely worth the wait! We drove an hour to get there and since it's tough to time the drive during rush hour, we ended up being 30 minutes early but the staff was so friendly and welcoming right away. The event included a welcome cocktail, gin tasting, a tapas bar, live music, and a flower truck outside with a florist making up individual bouquets. Even without all those perks, it's just a really cozy place to hang out and have a delicious gin cocktail. Two of the staff individually told us about upcoming events and live music and encouraged us to come back. We will absolutely return and bring some friends with us next time!

I've made my way through the entire menu (food and drinks), and there honestly isn't a single item I wouldn't recommend. Everything is consistently spot on every single time. That kind of reliability is hard to find, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. That said, a few personal favorites stand out. The goat cheese flatbread appetizer is a non-negotiable. It's the kind of dish you order "for the table" but secretly don't want to share. The cacio e pepe and pasta rustica are also incredible and always hit. As for drinks, the seasonal espresso martini is always a go-to and never disappoints. But my personal favorite is either the regular old fashioned or, when I'm feeling myself, the wagyu old fashioned... especially if Scott is behind the bar. He clearly knows what he's doing, and it shows. The service is always warm, attentive, and consistent, which makes the whole experience even better every time. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and a bartender who takes his craft seriously. I'll definitely be back (again...and again).

I have had this spot on my list for a while. I started with a cocktail, the Soda Italia Mojito and it was so refreshing, bubbly, and delicious without being overly sweet. I ordered an appetizer for my meal. Unfortunately I did not feel well and ended up taking almost all of this home with me. I ordered the Bourbon Wagyu Burrata. This app was hand pulled mozzarella stuffed with braised wagyu brisket and bourbon butter and served with crostini. I just ate this for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. The bartender said these are made to order, mozzarella pulled and filled after I placed my order. The atmosphere was cozy and right in the heart of Covington. Both bartenders were super friendly and when I said all of a sudden I did not feel well, they took my meal and put it in a box for me and got me an ice water to go. I will definitely stop in the restaurant again to give something else on the menu a try. Probably will order the same cocktail as it was so good.

As I get older, I try to love myself a little more, so each year I treat myself to something a little extra special. This year, that was Carmelo's. Honoring his Bisnonno, Carmelo Caserta, Chef Billy Grise & his longtime friend, Chef Mitch Arens, opened this slice of Sicily in 2024. They make you feel at home with a warm intimate atmosphere, top tier service & food so good you're sure to come back time & time again. My Server, Deron, was so friendly & helpful. His professionalism & expertise shined all throughout the evening! After explaining the full menu to & carefully selecting a signature cocktail for me, Carmie's Kiss, I selected the hand pulled Mozzarella served with Grilled Focaccia & Olive Oil, the savory & spicy Garlic Soup, the cheesy crispy Potatoes served with a Calabrian Chili Mayo, and the hearty indulgent Oxtail Ragu. Each bite I took whisked me away to another world filled with enticing scents, beautiful colors & bold flavors! Then, when I thought I was finished, Deron surprised me with a delicious slice of Tiramisu served with a delightful glass of Pinot Grigio, and it was absolutely heavenly!! We did our research and took most of the recommendations of our fantastic server Harris. The Cauliflower flabbered my gasts it was so amazing. The crispness of the cauliflower, the bright spark of the lemon aoli, and the warmth of the toasted almond slivers come together in perfect bites all around. The Garlic Soup had five forms of garlic and transports you to a sixth dimension. Needs to be corrected in the menu description as it DOES NOT share well and if you love your table mates you will get individual portions. The Crispy Garlic Alfredo was so decadent and delightful. Definitely not for the faint of heart but a mound of pasta worth dying for IMO. The Tomahawk Pork was unfortunately our last dish and didn't get appreciated as it deserved due to logistics/stomach space. But it was perfectly crisped and ooeygooey on top with a vodka sauce with a kick. PS: we thought the experience was classy from the start but the labeling of the leftovers sealed the deal. Name and date, just their process not a special request from us. Cute since the Alfredo didn't last 24 hours.

I ordered the chai tea and she ordered a manhattan. My chai tasted like milk and sugar and that is pretty much all, I was missing the spiciness of chai tea. Also a skin had formed on top of the tea as if the milk was scorched. She did not care for the manhattan at all, not really boozy and definitely not in the right glass and had a bunch of ice in it instead of none or just a single cube. On to the food. We both enjoyed our food. She ordered many items as she likes to take it home for the next day. I ordered the lamb kabob which is cooked in a Tandoor oven.
