    Have a peach margarita!

Great vibe. Fresh wall paintings and the locals joint. You definitely know good Mexican when it is easier to order in Spanish. The attached grocery store is spot on. Whether you are going for lunch or after work margaritas, this place won't disappoint. They have excellent presentation of the food, and the flavor hits Home. It's not fancy dining by any means, but it feels like home to me.

    Lots of greens!

This is my go to spot when I need real Mexican ingredients for Tacos, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole and more!! The price is amazing too and even some days there is a Elote lady- ready to make you a tasty traditional treat.

Great location and great for drinks and food! Authentic food too. The salsa and chips are great too. Spicy salsa is so good. Prices are excellent!

Stopped in here while walking to the bank, ordered a deli sandwich. Was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

Ahmed, the…read moreowner, once went out of his way to gather ingredients to fulfill our order that included tabouli. When I went in to pick up our order, he apologized for the extra wait to make our food and explained he hates telling customers that he is out of a certain type of food. This truly touched my heart, I wish I could support their business more than I do. I fully endorse the five star rating both in this review & the name of the business.

Been eyeing this place for a while and finally made it out. Mediterranean is one of mine and my…read morewife's favorite cuisines, but haven't loved a lot of other places we've visited. Made it out here last night before seeing Pericles at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. We ordered a couple waters, which we didn't realize would be bottled, and some dawali to start. The wait was very short, maybe ten minutes. These were definitely the best stuffed grape leaves I've had, with a sweet and tangy sauce. Nice light appetizer. For our entrees, she chose the falafel platter, and I went for the Arayes, which is a dish we've made a couple times at home recently and has become a favorite. These plates arrived only a minute or two after we finished the grape leaves, so perfect timing. I must say, everything looked incredible. We both took a bite of falafel, then the arayes, then the salad. Everything was very undersalted. Usually, I think of this as a huge strike against a restaurant, but once we added salt to everything, the flavors popped. It wasn't that the food was bland or unseasoned, it was just undersalted, which didn't help the flavors stand out. This is the main reason I did 4 stars instead of 5. The entrees were $18, and came with a big bed of rice and salad, but I felt the protein for each platter was a bit sparse: 5 falafel for the plate, and 5 arayes, which had a very thin patty of meat in each. Both were topped with a delicious cilantro-tahini (I think) sauce, that i would have liked a bit more of, for the sides and the arayes which were on the bottom. The water bottles were $1.50 each, so I'd probably bring our own next time, but that's not a big deal. Overall, most of my issues are small and nitpick except for the salt, so if that was nailed next time, I think this place would be a home run.

I agree with their rave, however, my lunchtime experiences were not the best. I would often stop to pick up lunch on my way to work, and there was often a line of customers who apparently had the same idea. The staff did not serve with a sense of urgency. The customers didn't seem to mind, which is unfortunate because that implies acceptance of the level of service. I haven't been in a while, but I hope they improvement the customer care & service because their food is really good.

I was next door and remembered I needed onions and salad. Ignore the 60's era design and decor motif, it's actually clean and orderly in there. They offer a lot of store brands and not very much produce, but they had organic spring mixes, two carton options of them, both on sale for a dollar each. And they expired in three days just like all kinds of other salads out there, not a reduced-for-quick-sale offer. My three pounds of onions were $2.50, perfectly acceptable price range. Note that these people compete with Dollar Tree and Dollar General next door and across the street. This means that both have arranged for limited access to much smaller sizes on brand name household supplies like Tide and Dawn dish soap, so they can charge more per ounce but set the overall price lower. It's called predatory pricing, and since the Jimmy Carter administration and then Reagan especially we haven't enforced New Deal era laws requiring wholesalers to offer the same terms to all buyers. The result is dollar stores sit with a store full of trashy food (and WalMart junk) but offer a seeming discount on essentials that many find pricey. I'm making it a point to shop for a few items there as it's closer, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a handful of their door busters most the time too. The cheerios were especially tempting today.

We decided we didn't want drinks today and normally we do order alcohol, so not sure if we were being ignored more for that reason? We were very unclear who was serving us as two or three people asked if we wanted drinks and then we saw hardly anyone after we said no. Our food took 45 minutes to be served with no updates from a server or apologies for the wait, despite other tables (who came in after us) around us being apologized to and getting food before us. My breakfast poutine was also sub-par today, the egg was forgotten and brought out several minutes later, overcooked and rubbery. Normally we have a great experience here but today just really missed. We would have been more understanding if there were an ounce of communication but if our food had arrived 5 minutes later we would have left before it arrived (we just had waters at that point since we did a lot of drinking for the holiday last night). Will be interested to see if our experience stays consistent in future visits. And I really hope our experience wasn't just because we opted out of bar drinks today.

Came here for their Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint! Brunch doesn't start until 11am on Sunday and we arrived around 1140 and got a table for 2 without any wait! The hostess and our waitress were friendly and attentive. Started with a stacked Bloody Mary which had a slider, bacon, and a chicken wing! The bloody itself was tasty, though I prefer mine to be a little spicier. We got the Hawt Mess and Breakfast Poutine and both were delicious. The over easy egg on the poutine was perfectly cooked and the smashed potatoes in the Hawt Mess were crispy and flavorful. We will absolutely be back to try the rest of the brunch menu!
